Confidence is key to everything! I'm glad you are nurturing your confidence and seeing it grow & flourish through your art! Confidence is one of those things everyone struggles with except maybe narcissists! lol I loved BOTH landscapes you did! YOU are SO talented!
So honey I gotta tell you it's blowing my mind right now how well your artstyle translates into land- and cityscape art, I definitely tried to imagine this before but seeing it now and this being your first try too, I'm just mind blown!!! If you have fun doing this and want to pursue different things with your art, I can tell you that I'm excited to see. I'm tired writing this so it's hard putting this into words but damn sis get into it yuh!
I love the cityscape, I can't put my finger on it, but the color and contrast really evokes a feeling, like it sucks you in to the scene and yells "You Are Here! What do you feel?!" Also, the contrast between delicately airy and frilly foliage against the stark angular buildings gives the picture alot of movement.
"I don't do no woof waffin/mess around", same😂! I like both, I've done a lot of landscapes, and want to try cityscapes too. Fabulous job on both pieces, hope you create more of these💕💯!
Love that you're letting us come along for the ride when you try new things. It turned out great. It's very inspirational. You should try to do a scene from a movie that way you can add your portrait skills with "landscape"
I think they came out great! I love the colors in the first one. It reminds me fauvism. 🎨 I can't stand be asked "Is that all you draw?" I'm a cartoonist and I get asked all the time why I don't do realistic portraits or landscapes. 1) I'm bad at it. 😂 2) It doesn't particularly interest me. My point is it's okay to stick to a specific subject matter. Some artists like portraits, some like landscapes, we're all different. (^3^)
It’s totally fine to play like a kid with new subjects! I always admire your use of colours. I’m a huge fan of landscapes, especially fantasy or mid western themed. Amazing work as always.
I’m absolutely in LOVE with the way u depicted the fog and personally, I like the little tree in the front bc it puts it into the perspective as if I’m looking up into the sky from a ny park. great werk 💕
The mix of colors and “strange” proportions in both give them a dreamy feel! The trees and fog in the cityscape have that warm, nostalgic Studio Ghibli vibe. Like you captured the “art” of the everyday.
That cityscape gives me muggy humid summer evening. I’m born a country island kid but raised a rowdy city gurrrl and I appreciate both. There’s a similar tranquillity that artists like yourself capture from the busy day to day lives we all perceive in real life truly *chefs kiss*
Your paintings, and your voice overs, are utterly unique. You and your art are absolutely amazing. I admire you hugely. God bless you and those you love, now and always.
i live in britain and i take art for gcse and we have to do art in the style of different artists and i might do yours..... i love your portraits, they're so beautiful and fascinating
Both drawings were really nice, your style is so unique, that even the cabins and the cityscape look vibrant and musical. The bush in the 2nd drawing, I don't know, I liked it. It gives a feeling there is a path to the city in that open space between the bush and the tree. Can't wait to see more art experiments. Thanks for posting!
I absolutely love your art!! It's so inspiring to see you try something new! Your art is always so amazing and stunning! I've been watching your awesome content for a while and each time I'm shocked at the final result! 💜
for someone who did landscape for the first time, you did a good job. i like how the colors is so you and i especially like your commentary, they rlly make me see your perspective and not just showing a timelapse
Your style makes the landscape & city scape more fun and vibrant. It makes me want to be more daring with color. I’m a few days in with oil & soft pastels & having so much fun.
Looking at the color in your art reminds me of Ernie Barnes’s work on Good Times but definitely your style is shining through. Thanks for the fun videos! You’ve inspired me to try oil pastels.
Hey Bean! I likeded both. I am a country girl AND city girl. 😄thank you for sharing. I appreciate how you share so openly. You inspire me! Take Care and Stay Positive!
I love both of these, I think you have such a strong use of color and texture that any subject works because the elements you're building them with are so striking and interesting and layered.
Boy dun good!! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Both pieces are great, specially considering the subject isn’t your usual thing. I love em - and I’m convinced you can make a masterpiece out of anythin you turn your hand to - you just need to convince yourself of that!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
And just like... Even the " damned" bush ...became a work of art! If ever you doubted you were an artist my friend .... Doubt no more, this last image purely and simply came to life! Hugs and thanks for sharing
I loved them both! The bright colors in the first one and the atmosphere in the second one. I really like that tree in the corner of the second one aswell! Hope this gave you inspiration to keep doing landscapes. And maybe you can even combine your figures and the landscapes😏. I always enjoy your videos, your art and your personality!❤
One of my favourite videos so far. I really think I learnt watching how much you experimented in your process and seeing each element evolve back and forth.
thank you for showing such personal moments of your art, it is really refreshing for someone like me who does art to improve my mental health to watch someone just do art for the joy of it and let that passion fuel their craft. i love your work and your personality alike!
I just found you…and I love it! I’m a country girl; but, we all learn from each other. I love the fog and the tree too! But the buildings make me happy. You’ve got a new fan. Thank you for stretching…otherwise we would never have met.♥️🎨🙌🏻
I love doing landscapes in oil pastel. I've found that a fixative spray is super handy stuff with oil pastels, especially for building up layers where you don't necessarily want previous layers to blend together. 2nd pic btw...great tree on the right!
Love them both. Full stop. Your reference photo for the cityscape is beautiful, and the resulting drawing shows the deep foundation of your style. Your art would be a gallery draw, for sure.
Your cityscape is stunning! I hope you keep it. I really like how you played with the colors and it looks very painterly. My favorite part is the skyscrapers in the background. I like their green color and how they dissolve into fog at their tops. You NAILED that. I also like the trees and even the bush at the left bottom corner. It kind of makes it look like you're walking out of the forest and the first thing you see is a grand, fantasy-esque city.
I love the fog, you trying something different and your goblin scratchy scratchy voice. Love that you’re a random girl, love that tree too. Love it all.
I can’t decide. I love them both. Part of why I subscribed to this channel was because it got me inspired to do pastels again. I remember someone posted online with my favorite pastel art I made in high school and said it was terrible. Then I came across your channel and saw your tutorials and I was so happy because I saw what I could do and you reminded me what it was like to be an artist and not give a fuck about perfection.
I felt like you were going out of your traditional zone (portraits) and maybe you felt struggling but oh boy! You have so much talent. I loved both pieces. The city buildings were my favorite.
I love the city scape. It is more suitable to your style. Alos loved the photo of you with the umbrella and the light behind. That would be cool. Love your work.
Oh my lovely Bean, you are too hard on yourself!! These are awesome! I love your cityscape especially as soon as you started adding the dark shadows around the buildings, it changed the whole piece then! Well done 😊
These turned out so damn good 😭 I just stumbled across your channel literally a day ago and I'm obsessed. I've felt like my art has been so samey samey lately, but you've really inspired me and made this medium look FUN. I've never used oil pastels outside of a middle school art class, so I just ordered a pack on Amazon and can't wait for them to get here 🥰
Amazing! Thank you for being so real and relatable. Absolutely love the way your city turned out and the tree is GORGEOUS!you should create more nature pictures
I love landscapes using paint most of the time. Oil pastel's, I doubt about it but this piece made me think again, might reconsider and do my own creation, now by using oil pastels! This is so great and the humour is contagious. I love him so much.
I just love u...I watched u at 430am...u make me smile watching u do the landscape ..I learn alot from u..u encourage me to step outside of my comfort zone.. I love ur long videos I'd like to see more landscape I truly enjoyed it
I absolutely LOVE your city scape one. I would definitely put that up in my house! As for which I prefer in my own art it depends on if I'm working more towards texture or perspective but I'd have to go with city scapes as my favorite I think.
Confidence is key to everything! I'm glad you are nurturing your confidence and seeing it grow & flourish through your art! Confidence is one of those things everyone struggles with except maybe narcissists! lol I loved BOTH landscapes you did! YOU are SO talented!

I reaaaally like the fog in the second drawing, but I definitely like the landscape better. Its giving cozy vibes
i like the way you drew the foggy it looks like a real ❤️
I was speechless while you did the fog 💜 these are so lovely
"I don't do no woof waffin/mess around", same😂! I like both, I've done a lot of landscapes, and want to try cityscapes too. Fabulous job on both pieces, hope you create more of these💕💯!

Love them! The cityscape is my favorite! I'm from Chicago so the city is my love. Love your videos!! ❤️❤️
A landscape in a portrait format ✨
I love the cityscape but great job on both. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Your paintings, and your voice overs, are utterly unique. You and your art are absolutely amazing. I admire you hugely. God bless you and those you love, now and always.
The darker green buildings in back really capture that rainy foggy vibe. It makes me think of mist and moss.
Love the landscapes. You Crack me up.
i live in britain and i take art for gcse and we have to do art in the style of different artists and i might do yours..... i love your portraits, they're so beautiful and fascinating
I love the first and second drawings. The landscape and cityscape. I love your style. For sure do more darling. Blessings and joy to you.
Well done for trying new things and mixing it up. I liked the fog and the misty city. I was impressed to see a lot of green 🤣
Both drawings were really nice, your style is so unique, that even the cabins and the cityscape look vibrant and musical.

So inspiring. Makes me want to create some landscapes!😍
I love seeing you experiment with different subjects! Can't wait to see more!
They were both gorgeous! I DIDN'T LIKE IT; I LOVED IT! I like cityscape & landscape.
Ooooh, i love the cityscape. I'm a huge fanatic of Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and this reminds me of them or new alien clown creatures.
I love both pieces!!! The fog is MESMERIZING! I love the effect!
I love how you remained true to your distinctive style. Since you asked, I prefer cityscapes.
I love the fog, you trying something different and your goblin scratchy scratchy voice. Love that you’re a random girl, love that tree too. Love it all.
I love your style. I touched my oil pastels for the first time in over 10 years because of you! Thanks!
That was a fun video. I’m a landscape girl, but I loved both. The tree on the right in the city softened the cityscape lines beautifully. ❤
Keep stretching into new areas-I love your work. Thanks for the video.

I live in the countryside so cityscapes amazes me more especially when I see it in art like yours 💕
Very cool city scape, actually fabulous. Your drawing is spot on!❤️this piece!
OH, I LOVE THE CITYSCAPE AND THE COLORS IN IT.
