      Just wondered if you will have the chance to test the new Soft Response model anytime soon? I'm playing with the Taylormade RBZ Soft at the moment and the Soft Response feel like a natural step up for a slow/mid swing speed. A comparison of the two would be very useful and I suspect quite popular.

    I love these balls. I've been playing them for a while now. Love the feel... the distance... and especially the forgiveness. They've helped me take 4 strokes off my handicap.

    To me the feedback is not as important as the performance I need whether by using a cavity back iron or a super soft feeling ball. I switched from forged irons and edges to cavity backs and I’m not regretting it by any means because the results I’m getting is much more satisfying.
    Greet review ... I just bought a Dozen of these soft response and can’t wait to try them

    i messed with these recently just because i had found a heap of them, the extra distance off the irons was nuts. First 4 holes i flew the green by 20-25m. It was seriously crazy, yes i know my yardages playing off 2. They went so far and sooo high. Was fun. Lost 5-10m off the driver but they went straight enough with low spin.
    I got the hang of them eventually, but it was just for fun. Stopping them was no problem even with the crappy case ... purely because of the height, even chips around the green were sorta cool with the height. If you're a mid-high handicap and wanted good iron length, low spin and height ... worth a try. They were fun to use

    Would love to see what you come up with when you do a taylormade noodle review are they good or waist of money?

    bought a sleeve of them to try out at the course and was VERY impressed with them. I WOULD recommend people to at least try them.
    the low sping gives it the distance. I saw THAT when playing!

    So far I’m not sure if this is the ball I want to keep paying for. Short iron shots have been very forgiving and I love that. Might try something else that is similar but still looking for that go to ball.

    35 compression? Wow! The ONLY thing I want out of a ball at age 75 is DISTANCE! I can figure our the spin/roll out on the green. But I'm losing a little bit of yardage every year and I've got to go for long off the tee! How about a video comparing them to the TaylorMade Tour Response?

    As a 73-year-old with a slow swing speed, I gave these balls a try and found them to suit my game very well. They don't feel like marshmallows to me and make a good sound no matter which club I use. I think spin on approach shots is overrated. If these balls pretty much stick where they land, I think that's a good thing. To hear golf announcers tell it, you'd think that pros hit the ball and know exactly how many feet the ball will spin back when it lands.

      I love the take on spin. I agree 100% that it's overrated. So many people will try out a ball that gets them 10 yards more distance, amazing forgiveness, etc and then complain about the check up on chips. It's a learning curve but it doesn't make or break a golf ball

    How does forgiveness compare to Wilson Zip, Cut Red or Precept Laddie?

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  3 місяці тому

      Okay, definitely worse than all the balls you listed

      @@GolfBallAddict I don’t know my swing speed but I will be 60 this year and had back surgery two years ago so probably 85-90 mph is my guess. Going to order some Wilson Zip and give them a try. Wish they had colors… Really appreciate your videos! Thanks 😊

    How would these be for a high swing speed? Or would a maxfli straight fli or vice tour be better

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  Рік тому +1

      Too soft for a fast swinger. The straight fli and vice tour are much better options. The tour if you need a little more green spin.
