This is how Ryo should be looking in XV. I love how he has both his lead hand and rear hand versions of his Dragon Punch. Along with actual fullscreen and aerial fireballs.
I wish SNK Hired some Indy Developers from Brazil or Mexico to make Art of Fighting 4 with Mr. Karate II as the Final Boss.

You know you're a legend when you beat the boss of another franchise once, and took his secret boss position in his own franchise later (twice by the way) lol
offcourse as art of fighting was supposed to be the first in snk storytelling before fatal fury,yes i know that art of fighting game came after fatal fury but storywise aof started it first,back when geese howard was still young(the version that killed jeff bogard when terry and andy still a kid)that's why ryo seems a bit older in this version
Esse jogo é uma pérola incompreendida muita gente fala mal,mas eu adorava na época,fora que a trilha sonora dele é fantástica.
Precisavam ter feito um remake na época para um hardware melhor, para parecer melhor de jogar. Porque era um jogo de tremendo potencial em todos os sentidos.
Tirando a parte técnica, para mim esse jogo realizou muito mais do que Sfex por ex. Porque Sfex só imita o sistema padrão de Sf. Mas esse FF tenta inovar, no contexto do sistema de FF da época.
Falou bonito pois tive contato com ele na minha juventude e apreciava o estilo 3d com sua trilha sonora bem ambientado deixando luta mais épica

Joguei muito no fliperama , e a pouco tempo modifiquei essa versão de ps1 para funcionar como a do fliperama com créditos

By far the best character in the game and the most fun to play as. I remember when I first made it all the through the game without losing a round and faced him, my mind was blown. This was back in the day where you didn’t know about secrets unless you saw them in a game magazine so I had no idea he was even in the game.
Wild Ambition was a very good game in my opinion, the gameplay was super fun, it had amazing music, the supers were crazy and over the top, etc. I never understood the hate it got, the only thing I could see is because the graphics were slightly subpar compared to other 3-D fighters at the time, but there’s more to a game than graphics. Me and my brother had a ton of fun with this game as kids.
The quality of the cut scenes in this game is MASTERFUL

Na minha opinião esse jogo está entre os melhores de Fatal Fury. É claro que cabiam melhorias porém, o jogo foi inovador para época com uma trilha sonora incrível! O Ryo de Mr. Karate ficou espetacular.
A melhor versão desse jogo ficou esquecida no hyper neo geo 64. A maioria só conhece a versão de PS1 😣

They should put this version of Ryo in KOF 15 as a secret unlockable character. Same with the older Robert from Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. This Ryo was in there as well. He was called Mr. Karate 2.

I think Art of Fighting comes before Fatal Fury/KOF. That's why a younger Geese is a secret boss in AOF2, and makes reference to assassinating one Jeff Bogard in the ending.

12:13 as far as snk bosses go, this one was quite tame, real bout geese outright kill you with one Rasing Storm if it counter hits (yeap, it take down two life bars in one go), and even if it don't hit on counter it would take 90% of your life

Original is very very difficult in Art of Fighting 1. See him in SNK vs Capcom: Chaos too. Very stronger

And speaking of reasons, Ryo wants to take down Geese for setting up his father ((Takuma)) to kidnap his sister Yuri ((Takuma's daughter))

Possivelmente será como uma skin.
Se os próximos jogos tiverem skins como Sf, pelo menos a minha opinião é que o Ryo devia ter sim uma skin do Mr Karate.
Sendo que o ideal para mim era o contrário: Kof mostrar os chars de Aof mais velhos, sem ter deformado a linha temporal clássica de FF, e aí eles teriam skins/versões clássicas. Mas entendo que isso é praticamente impossível... porque é tabu demais envelhecer as mulheres para esses devs (pelo menos isso virar a aparência padrão deles). Tudo bem, skins já é alguma coisa.

Art of Fighting characters are older than Fatal Fury characters canon wise. Lovin' seeing how Ryo aka Mr.Karate since Art of Fighting 3 took the mantle to Buriki One strait to Fatal Fury series. The only character Terry had a hard time fighting is Ryo and canon wise in the KOF94 they tied also there is an intro in KOF Maximum where Ryo uses his super on Terry in the intro but Terry is still standing ready to fight.
Listen time line is confusing to much
Buriki One is a series that SNK needs to continue. Those characters had Baki the Grappler vibes.

@@kitu-kof2002 Oh, I was talking about a reboot or hd version of Buriki One. The fighting in that game looked like it was based off Pride fights in real life. I think more fighting games should take that approach instead of fantasy tournament fighters with people that shoot fireballs. Im also a huge Baki The Grappler fan as well 😁

Joguei muito esse jogo na versão do Arcade. Pena que muito tempo depois eu descobri que a versão PS1 tem o Mr Karate e o Duck King. Até a revista dos golpes desse jogo eu tenho, o bom que aproveitei o Mr Karate no KOF Maximum Impact 2, Regulation A e Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. E é nesse final do Mr Karate vem lá na introdução de KOF Maximum Impact 2 onde ele e Terry estão lutando na rua.

Eu imagino um remake, mas não parecido com SS. Enfim, para mim seria melhor se o reboot de FF, que deve acontecer no futuro, se baseasse nesse jogo. Em vez de ser um tipo de remake do 1-2.
@@carlosaugusto9821 quando eu falei em SS em termos gráficos não é a direção de arte mas sim em usar a UE pra gráficos em 3D mais caprichado, tanto que a jogabilidade de FF e SS são bastantes diferentes

Cara Ryo Sakazaki praticamente misturou seu nome e seu karatê gi rasgado de ryu e sua aparência loiro americanizado e claramente o Ken Masters.

A SNK tem a chance de colocar um personagem como este em KoF e fica trazendo personagens sem noção. Imaginem um time com: Ryo (Mr Karate), Marco Rodriguez e o Serius Mr Karate original (semelhante ao do SvC Chaos). Ia ser top demais!

A SNK não tem muita sorte com jogos 3D. A animação é boa, os personagens nós conhecemos, mas esse gráfico de Sega Saturn e som analógico não ajudam.
Como um todo, tá melhor que a série Maximum Impact. Do que joguei de Wild Ambition, a jogabilidade era melhor e não era um jogo confuso.
Para a época era um ótimo jogo. Pau a pau com outros como Sf Ex dentre outros. E nessa época com realmente se destacava era Tekken, mas existiam muitos jogos 3d e esse da SNK surpreendeu positivamente.
Golpes maneiros, música bacana e jogabilidade muito boa foram pontos positivos deste jogo

This is a "bad boy" version of Ryo Sakazaki. So, is Ryo "Mr Karate" without mask
in short ... takuma was being blackmailed by the villain Gesse, if he disagreed, then gesse would kill his family. Finally, Takuma submits to this and uses a mask to avoid being recognized. translate by google, ignore the errors.
Ryo also has a tengu mask by the way. It looks both funnier and creepier than Takuma's ngl
