One quick note that building behind Jolly Bucaneer with the Ivy on it at 0:42 is actually the façade to the old Pirate Adventure Dark Water Boat ride which in my opinion could still fit the target market of the park. It was there take on Pirates of the Caribbean, I never did the original ride but have seen POVs it looked stunning to be honest. And the ride system is still there
Love Drayton Manor. I'm glad they have gone down the family friendly route. They have upgraded or added so many areas of the park now. My only negative is the speed of some of the operations. A little hit and miss on a ride that has a queue. One train on the wave isn't helpful though. Great park though
The Zamperla powered coaster USED to do 2 loops of the track with a faster and more powerful train. Thor is probably the most intense ride. When i went, the River Rapids broke down and didn't reopen. Sherriffs showdown broke too but ehen i reopened i got the best score of the day. Drayton Manor is a theme park where everything is broken. Even The Haunting exits though what used to be shop but isn't anymore so it's a blue and white room with nothing in it. Spoils the effect. Gold rush also broke down. Twice. And didn't reopen. Stormforce 10 however is probably tied as the best log flume in the UK with Valhalla at Blackpool. Both of them you get absolutely ducking soaked (quack) and the worst position for it is the back 👌 (or the best) The wave is the smoothest B&M you'd ever ridden now with the new trains. They are bucket seats with lap restraints the size of your thighs. Could do eith some theming on the train though as the front looks weird now but its far more accessible than the the stand-up trains of old as they now call it a "family coaster". Still. Very solid as a "my first big ride" ride especially with a snappy zero G. Biiiig loop amd 2 corkscrews with some breathing time between them of straight track or. Overall i give this park a D-. Because it COULD make an awesome family park if they actually cleaned the place up a bit, maintained the rides better and focused a bit more on hospitality. Only 3 food outlets were open too making each one exceeding busy so it was hot dog, burger, or sandwich. That's it.
I've not been on that particular Air Race, but Carowinds has one and I did in fact count the inversions. I got 17, which is the most inversions I have ever had on a single ride. I'm not sure that every cycle is the same though, or that all the different instances have the same count.
Why doesn’t the center tower on the nebulez rotate? Do they not all do that. I’ve only ever been on mixed at Hershey which has the center tower moving.
Apocalypse was my favourite drop tower of all time because of the sheer intensity of that. 2nded by a now defunct hyper blaster at Cleethorpes. That was an S&S blast tower about a 3rd of the height of a standard one so you got -1 to -2Gs at the top with absolutely no floater air time whatsoever. It was frickin' violent
I do miss Apocalypse and Pandemonium from Drayton Manor but the theming is better and more cohesive compared to before also Accelerator is in the process of being rethemed and the Flying Dutchman Flat Ride is set to be relocated to elsewhere in the park.
The theming here is actually sooo underrated. It’s a great underrated theme park.
I liked it more than expected.

And behind that building is the Dragon Boat ride. Together these two rides take up 1/2 of the parks total land area.
I figured that was what the building was. It's a shame that closed.

Great park though
Wave definitely could use a 2nd train.
Looks like a great park
Sure is.
It could be a great park but it does need work. I've made a main comment explaining it.
I’m disappointed in the loss of major thrill rides, especially G-Force and Apocalypse.
It was sad to see them go, but at least the park replaced them with new things.

I had much better luck with Drayton Manor than you, which is impressive because it was on a day with 40 mph wind gusts.

Most air races are similar in terms of force, but the one at Dreamworld in Australia ran a crazy fast cycle.

I am not sure.
All I will say is if Apocalypse was never removed it would probably taken top spot for me
as it did have the Stand Up Floorless Tilting Tower.
I may have still preferred Wave, but it probably would be been number 2 for me.

Good to hear they'll make those fit in better.
That is the slowest roller coaster I've ever seen
Which one?
Stopping the first people
You’re not first either.

2nd lol
Tell me how you specifically went out of your way to teach people how to Liseberg correctly but still get Birmingham wrong 🥲
I erroneously thought it was pronounced like the US city, my bad.
