The American dollar goes very far here so I wanted to make this video of what I spend in a day not to brag, but to show my American following how much you can do here for so little. We were there November 2023. Gurl you went to the most expensive places. The hub and I found great breakfast on Longstreet and all kinds of cheap eats everywhere. Life isnt just a mall lol

Wow, I never thought of it that way but I actually agree with you. Because I can usually get tickets to Europe pretty cheap but they are def taxing on the tickets to get here 🤦🏽♀️

Aren't you going to do all the touristy stuff like climb Table Mountain, see the penguins at Boulders Beach, visit Hout Bay, do a game drive at Aquila Game Reserve, and do wine tasting at Stellenbosch? - these are a must in Cape Town. Also visit Mamma Africa

Yes I def am! Sometimes preplanning things are a little hard because I'm always on call being a model but will def do all the tourist stuff little by little before I head home!

I recommend it to people everywhere! Cape Town does have mad Cali vibes in terms of scenery thou, but the people and culture are completely different!

Might be a $2 Uber but you cannot compare as South Africans get paid low wages. It is a cheap holiday destination though because of the exchange rate
Definitely! The money can’t actually compare here since the values and cost of living wages are completely different

I picked up a negative energy from you on your first videos about Cape Town. It kinda felt like you were looking down upon us and our cities in general.
Sorry that u got that impression-I’m coming from a completely different side of the world where many things work a lot differently than what I’m used to; so you have to expect some frustration when someone is striped from their norm to a new way of living. It was also my first week here so I was very exhausted as I was getting adjusted to the time change. But I would never look down on a country! Especially when it’s apart of the continent I came from! It’s been nothing but an honor for me to be here and every day I’m falling more in love here!

Are you using an American credit card or did you open a bank account there?
They don’t take American credit cards so I just used my debit card! I didn’t need to open an account there ☺️
@Sierra LaFaye oh wow! That's cool lol and scary. I'm going in January from Toronto. I was wondering how I would use uber and what not. I didn't know my debit card would work there
@@Leenaxxoxo You can def use ur American credit cards that are linked to ur Ubers & if you wanted to use ur credit card for Airbnb’s…it’s just when u go to a store or restaurant u can’t used an American credit card but u can use ur American debit card
Make sure u take a photo of all ur cards/IDs/passports just to be on the safe side if they get lost or stolen. Also make sure u have ur phone backed up some way. You should be fine but the petty theft there is pretty crazy and my friend ended up getting her bag stolen so it’s better to be safe than sorry!
