Years before he did AHAT. He was always a lyricist even in the streets, gettin money, he put out the 2 disc mixtape 🔥🔥🔥. His bro n sis, his cousin, his pops, I'm glad to see him get so far ahead in life as one of the best battle rappers in the world. Definitely my favorite battle rapper out there...

The Diz vs Danny battle was one of my favorites from both. Dizasters aggressive delivery without screaming at the top of his lungs was what Ive always wanted to see. Also people cringed at Danny's hypeman but he helped bring the energy up crazy at times.

Diz is asscheeks. In my opinion, of course.
I seem to the be only person who thinks that, but I absolutely hate his "style" (aka scream-rambling while stuffing each second full of filler...ex: how often he throws "fuckin" into nearly every bar or some other word as filler like he needs it 🙄 Not to mention how insanely repetitive he gets when rambling his bars, saying the same words constantly). I've been on for a while too, not as long as a lot of people, but I do remember the Smack DVDs though I didn't really get into it until around the time GT got going. I've seen the majority of Diz's battles, and I've never seen the appeal or understood why he's put on a pedestal by so many battle fans 🤷🏿♂️
That's what's great about Battle Rap (and music in general)
So many artists with varied styles, anybody getting into it should easily be able to find artists they like. I've always been a fan of pretty much any League, as long as they have decent video and audio quality (obviously depends on how far you go back, but I'm mainly talking about the handful of Leagues that popped up over the last ~5 years or so), and have never been partial to one specific style over another like so many delusional SMACK/Gun Bars Only dick-riders who can't seem to appreciate anything but (I mean, I love me some of that shit but only when it's actually well done, and not just somebody relying on presence alone). Even when a white dude comes in and 3-0s (insert guy he battled here)🙄. Even more annoying when the crowd is going nuts over the other nigga's mid-ass bars, while barely reacting at all to any of the white guy's really nice shit. There are definitely a few white dude's who get respect at a SMACK/URL event, but there haven't exactly been many over the years.
EDIT: Ehhhhh ok maybe not ASSCHEEKS, but definitely not one of the best. Again, just IMO. /📖

Diz has one of the sloppiest pen games of anybody people throw into a "GOAT" conversation, I don't even think that's debatable... His pen game IS sloppy for somebody considered "Top Tier" by so many... Compared to the dozens with extremely tight pen games, and much MUCH better flow.
"GOAT" is an overused term nowadays anyway. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE GOAT. Too many idiots going around like "omg (name) and (name) are GOATS" It's like the male version of basic bitches saying "literally" or "like" constantly.
Give me your top 5 Diz performances and maybe I'll change my mind... But I doubt it. It's been a while, aside from a single battle I watched like a month ago. So I'm willing to watch what you recommend when I have time
