    If I'm not mistaken I believe the Czech republic military and Leo's carry the p10F.
    I traded my g43X for the p10F and I'm loving it. Nothing was wrong with my glock and I do miss it but I wanted something less snappy and that I could be much more accurate with. I fully plan to purchase another glock (19 or 19X) on the future.

    Just got a P10 C and I love it. I'm a total new shooter and only tried it an the P07. As you advised me, the stricker fire was amasing, the first mag I shoot, all mag bullets touched each other! From 7 m' distance. And again, this is my first shooting ever. With the P07, I hit the targer but in much wider seperation, about a 30 cm' diameter circle for all the bullets of one mag.
    Thanks alot for great reviews!

    The CZP10F is one of the best 9mm I have ever shot. And I have shot a lot of Glocks. This gun is a beast. CZ are putting out better guns than Glock. But Glock fanboys will never admit that.

    • @TheHumbleMarksman
      @TheHumbleMarksman  4 роки тому

      Eh- I've shot a lot nicer 9mms than a P10 - they're decent striker guns at what was previously a good price. With what they're going for right now - which is more than Glocks - if you can find them - I'm not sure their value proposition is as strong as it was 6 months to a year ago. They're decent guns. I'm pretty sure I like the Beretta APX better.

    I listened to your every word , replayed many segments. I just bought the - P10F OR & SR - to my CZ Team of vz52, P-07 SR and P-09 SR, and all my other Walther's, H&Ks and Metal Sig Sauer's.
    I just want facts, specs, shooting impressions. Not long winded opinions about small hands, sights you would change, your dislike of grip shapes. Your opinion is yours. Other people may love what you hate. Just report the facts, let the consumer draw their conclusions. I'm glad your reviewing a full size pistol. Too much attention today for small concealed carry - too small to control pistols .
    Viewers enjoy positive praise for the gun your reviewing. Not negative whining, nit picking. Let the viewer decide.

    Good video. I like that you come across as a regular guy with gun enthusiasm sharing his experience and point of view. I have a bunch of CZ-75 variants and love them all especially for competition use. Earlier this year I picked up a P-10C optics ready (OR) because I couldn't find a P-10F OR. My goal was to use it in USPSA carry optics. I installed the Hbi trigger and a Holosun red dot. Then I got the taller iron sights from CZ and the red dot became easier to use. Then I got some P-10F magazines and installed the basepad adapter from CZ Custom Shop that lets them sit flush against the frame and adds 1 round for 20 total. The P-10F is a large pistol and if the intention is to put a red dot on it then the whole gun is interchangeable with a P-10C especially given the fact that the larger P-10F magazines can be used.
    In this $500-$600 price range for polymer striker fired guns the price differences are irrelevant given that over time a person who enjoys shooting a gun for any number of reasons should put lots of ammo through it regardless of purchase price. I have spent about $1150 on my P-10C including the gun, sights, red dot, trigger, magazines, holster and I love to shoot it.
    My final thought is that I don't like Glocks. It's not because there is anything wrong with them, I just don't enjoy shooting them. I have one and it simply doesn't excite me.

    The P10c was my first gun and you’re absolutely right about the recoil impulse. I think the balance of the gun is really intelligently designed, I was already doing rapid fire on my second range trip with it. The gun just wants to go fast. Throw a TLR-1 on and it recoils like a .380. Still not sure how they managed to make it shoot just as soft as their inverted slide rail guns while being a conventional slide design. Czechs make some cool stuff
    It’s a damn tank too. Just saw someone on Reddit who accidentally shot a round after a squib and it only ruined the barrel, didn’t even blow out the mag

    This is by far 100% better than a glock. It’s beefier, stronger, better trigger, better sights, better bore axis, better handling of the weapons, it holds more rounds, and it’s cheaper lol. Is the glock a good gun? Yeah is it the best gun? No. More expensive doesn’t mean it’s better!

    OK, I have watched an uncountable amount of reviews on Glocks, CZs M&Ps, and every other striker-fired pistol I can find. One thing I haven't heard from even one person doing a review is the fact that every person has a different feel for a gun! By this I mean I find the CZ P-10F fits my hand with the small backstrap better than almost any other pistol I have ever held. While a few of my friends and both of my sons have pistols they like. Now I am not a FanBoy of anything other than the 1911 and it took me a long time to buy my first "Plastic Striker fired Pistol"! I tried all of the Glock offerings, the S&W M&P Shield pistols. The Sig pistols, Canik, and so many others I can't list them all here! So far the only one I have purchased is the CZ P-10F. It shoots very nicely and I love the way it feels in my hand. Now it isn't a 1911. The trigger is the best striker-fired pistol I have found. However, I have had my trigger modified by a very good gunsmith. The trigger is a lot better now. It doesn't have the fantastic trigger of my 1911s but for a striker-fired gun, it's really good. Nice video but in the future make sure you say other people have different criteria and feel so a pistol you like or do not like could be the one pistol another person loves! And lastly, to qualify my comments I am a retired US Navy Pilot who has collected and shot all kinds of firearms for over 65 years. I have shot pistols from the C 96 Mauser to the latest Gen 5 Glocks and every kind of 1911, 1911A1 makes and versions you can think of. Of all the pistols I have shot I like the 1911 best. The second is the Luger. The third is the Sig P210 from the 1950s. This pistol is the most accurate I have ever fired! But now at fourth place is the CZ P-19F.

    Basically the same take I have. My hands are medium thickness but I have longer fingers which makes the grip just ever so slightly awkward and as you noted, the large backstrap doesn't help at all. Also agree about slick sides: my P10F has a date next week with some skateboard tape and a heat gun. And I'd have preferred they just followed the market with a 17 round grip length as I have about 3/4" of bonus grip hanging out the bottom.
    But does it point and shoot naturally or what? It's like it shoots magic bullets that track where you're eyes are looking... So soft shooting and, to me, feels really best with mid-weight bullets in contrast my Glock which feels a bit better with 147's.
    Perhaps my biggest gripe is that mine is quite picky with respect to what bullets it likes. I've only found a couple loads that are more accurate than me (and I'm not good) and everything has to be loaded quite short, even shorter than for a Gen5 Glock. I also had a bear of a time finding a bullet that wouldn't lead-foul the barrel (I have zero tolerance: no streaks, nothing), even harder time than with my Gen5 Glocks.

    • @TheHumbleMarksman
      @TheHumbleMarksman  3 роки тому

      Armorer level maintenance. Availability and affordability of OEM and aftermarket magazines. Potentially durability in high burn examples. P10s havent been around long enough to know what life past 50k is like on a meaningful basis.
      On the example guns I have the triggers were comparable - i don't "like" either - but they're both serviceable. Both have creep and both have a profile I'm not in love with. Number of magazines provided in the box.
      The frame shape is easier for me to stabilize in recoil with the Glock to get straight up/down sight movement and a better return to zero.
      The Glock back straps add length of pull while the P10 back straps simply change the grip angle.
      The guns are kissing cousins - both do things "ok" - but on the areas the CZ is marginally better - arguably trigger and sights - but despite being "better" they're still not "good". The sights and trigger on the P10 are significantly worse than the sights and trigger on the Canik TP9SFX - for instance. It depends with what you're used to - if you want to argue over shades of gray - be my guest. I'd prefer a Beretta APX over either.

    Hey Humble Marksman,
    Did your P10 seem to shoot low at all?
    Bought one recently and took it to the range yesterday.
    Under normal and slow firing, mine always shoots ~3" low @ around 15 yds. Shoots low @ 7 yds too.
    Found if I raised the front sight post about halfway or a little higher above the rear sight to compensate, it would hit close to dead on. I came home and measured the #3 factory front sight and it's ~ .155" in height. Wound up ordering a Dawson .130" fiber optic front sight to bring up the point of impact.
    Anyhow, I'd be interested in hearing your experience and thoughts. Thanks man!

      No - as I recall it shot POA/POI for me. I had issues aiming precisely with those pretty gross sights but elevation wasn't an issue.

      @@treeman4262 wasn't sure if you were talking to me but here's what I noticed. Mine had 3 white dot sights and shot way low @ 7-15 yds. factory frt sight was .155" in height. My replacement dawson red fiber optic sight is .130" in height, which helped quite a bit/brought up my point of impact, but I wish I would've ordered a ~ .115"-.117" height front sight instead, as my dawson .130" frt sight still shoots a bit low. hope this helps.....Take care man!

    • @TheHumbleMarksman
      @TheHumbleMarksman  3 роки тому

      Eh - I don't know about that. I personally like the gen 5 17 more than I'd like a P10F - the ergos on the P10 are weird and don't offer as much frame to plant a support hand on. The Glock comes with the proper hardware to mount optics, magazines are cheaper and easier to find. The sights on the CZ ARE better - but still not good if you put a dot on it. The trigger is a shades of gray thing - the CZ isn't exceptional - arguably "better" but not better enough to be exploitable in any meaningful way.
