I will suggest take it easy when your hook setting be more gentle and when landing the trout you want to pull it on way and when your pulling the other direction pull it up on land
I had a light a sabre when I was a kid in the late 70s or 80s I can't remember but it was when the movie first came out!

When the fish gets on the hook don’t yank like that because the get off the hook when you do that so just reel in if the fish yanks or try’s to swim just pull up

I have one of these that I got at galaxy’s edge in Florida. I ended up getting Luke’s green lightsaber. Bought a second blade and modified the circuit board color of the blade to teal. Pretty cool.
