- A tribute to my Favorite Actor and Actress and their On screen Romance
During a Barbara Walters interview, Jane Fonda claimed that her father was deeply in love with Lucille Ball and that the two were "very close" during the filming of Yours, Mine and Ours (1968)

Is it me or do i think Henry looks handsome as he ages? hahas!
Yup, wld be great to see them make more, like Lucy & Bob Hope did a few tgt.
Yours, Mine & Ours was awesome, i guess it's been a long time since Big Street which spark the on-screen chemistry n made them so close.
Lucy & Henry are so sweet!
Great job Chris!
I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH !
GREAT ! REALY GREAT !
Henry Fonda and Lucille clench were the best !
Yes, he did get better with age, like a fine wine.
I love Henry Fonda! :D He was the best actor ever!!!!!!
Adorable! They were great together. I only wish they did more movies together. It's neat to see how much they changed between The Big Street and Yours, Mine and Ours.
Thank you very Much , me too that would have been they are amazing together.
I wonder how different it would have been had they gotten together. There certainly was A LOT of on-screen chemistry. A pity they didn't do more movies together.
They certainly were , Thanks !
Thank You.
Two of Lucille Ball's best movie performances were opposite Henry Fonda. He clearly inspired her to dig deeper. I believe her performance in The Big Street was her best dramatic performance in a movie. But, Yours Mine and Ours was her best movie of all. She was at her very best, in comedy, beauty and the warmth and pathos she emanated.
Thanks, Henry is so Handsome lol , I t would have been great if they did
I saw Yours Mine and Ours right around the time the suckish remake came out- at my Mom's insistance (she went out and bought it so I could watch) and it was 9 years old- I automatically had a crush on Henry Fonda- and was convinced he and Lucy were a couple!
They look soooooooo good together!!!! And both of her best movies are with him.
Thank You. X
Thank You. Its Vic Damone. :)
Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz divorced in 1960. Henry Fonda and his fourth wife, Afdera Franchetti, divorced in 1961. If Lucy had only held out a little longer maybe she and Henry could have gotten together, but no, she had to go rush into marriage with Gary Morton in 1961.
While Henry Fonda was a great actor and he and Lucille Ball had great chemistry on the screen together. I think that it would have been devastating if they had married. Henry Fonda, from reading about him, was cold in his personal relationships with wives and with his children. I think that would have devastated Lucy - his coldness would have been crushing to her. She was hurt by Desi enough. While I have no particular attraction to Gary Morton, seemed like he was not a good producer or a good comedian - he was faithful and consistent which meant everything to her.
@@LJ-ht4zs gary stayed in line and pleased her because thanks to her he got to live a rich life. he was a nice guy, but was lazy. lucy was his sugar mamma and kept finding jobs for him to have. unfortunately, she didn't have good taste in men... gary nor desi.
some biographers say that they had an on and off affair throughout the decades... who knows... most people don't know this, but lucy and henry did a tv movie together in the early 60's.
@@usforsarah What tv movie did Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball do together in the early 1960's?
