This was our first time dipping skulls. I think they turned out pretty cool.

Wow buddy they really turned out great! I really like them. The Taxidermy I use charges $225 to do a buck skull. I'm definitely going to try and do this. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great summer.

The skulls turned out great! I cleaned my first skull using beetles. I saw you sanded yours and did some other prep work. What did you do and what products did you use? Thank you so much!!

If I remember correctly I think I just used joint compound to smooth out a cracked fox skull and sanded it smooth. It still looks good. Thanks for watching!

Did you use a primer coat before dipping?

Not primer, but did spray a base coat of paint.

Sorry thats when you put acryllic paint in there to hold it on top of water.
