Laurie and Gary Cruuuuuuuise. You two are my kind of crazy. I’ve traveled a bit, and each region has its own signature style for how people are perceived. Please don’t take this as rude, but my time in NYC was sometimes puzzling for a boy from the South. People, in general, appeared of a stern nature. I found it difficult to form quick bonds as they were not very trusting. Admittedly, their environment did not foster trusting feelings, but my naturally gregarious nature did not always fit in. For example, we were taught to acknowledge people who walked past us. Do that in NYC, and the reaction you’d get would be that of a person about to be mugged. But now and then, I’d meet someone like you two, which would change my opinion. Your animation and facial gestures make me laugh, and I enjoy your stories. By the way, Gary, I understand your dilemma about getting the mule. That’s my kind of luck. But, as a former crime scene investigator, I’ve learned that life is way too short to be serious, but then again, many do not understand my unusual sense of humor. Larry from Texas
Hi Larry! Well Gary is from Kentucky so that explains why he’s a little different from the average New Yorker…..and maybe his Southern Hospitality is wearing off on me (Laurie!) Number 1 rule for NYC…..DONT….MAKE….EYE…..CONTACT!!!!😂 People here are rude and crazy……we are used to it and embrace it but it’s nice to get away which is why we love cruising so much! Thank you again for watching and commenting! -Laurie (and Gary.)
@@laurieGaryCruise That's so true. A close friend of mine who is in NYC through and through answered my question about what I perceived as rudeness. Larry, he said, people in NYC are not rude; they just mind their own business. Okay, Leo, may you rest in peace. Larry from Texas
