"Den größte Osterbrunnen der Welt" finden Sie in Bieberbach bei Egloffstein. Er hat es mit exakt 11.108 liebevoll handbemalten Eierschalen in das Guinnessbuch der Rekorde geschafft!
Bieberbach, Dorfbrunnen in der Ortsmitte.
Besonderheit: mit 11.108 handbemalten Eierschalen der laut Guinness-Buch der Rekorde (aus dem Jahr 2000) größte Osterbrunnen der Welt. Viele Meter handgeflochtener Girlanden sind notwendig, um alle Ostereier unterzubringen. Das Geheimnis des riesigen Brunnens bei dem im Sommer ein „Seefest“ gefeiert wird: in den 60er Jahren speiste die Quelle eine sogenannte „Hüll“, eine Viehtränke. Deshalb die großen Ausmaße.
Ein Muss für jeden Osterbrunnen-Fan. Wegen seiner Lage in der Ortsmitte sehr gut mit dem Bus erreichbar. An Ostersonntag und Ostermontag ist jeweils Standkonzert, es treten Posaunenchor und der Männerchor auf. An den Wochenenden gibt es Verkostung (Grillwagen), Toiletten vorhanden.

“The largest Easter fountain in the world” can be found in Bieberbach near Egloffstein. He made it into the Guinness Book of Records with exactly 11,108 lovingly hand-painted eggshells!

Special feature: with 11,108 hand-painted eggshells, according to the Guinness Book of Records (from 2000), it is the largest Easter fountain in the world. Many meters of hand-woven garlands are necessary to accommodate all the Easter eggs. The secret of the huge fountain where a “sea festival” is celebrated in summer: in the 1960s, the spring fed a so-called “Hüll”, a cattle trough. Hence the large dimensions.
A must for every Easter fountain fan. Because of its location in the center of town, it is easily accessible by bus. There is a standing concert on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, with trombone choir and men's choir performing. On the weekends there is a tasting (barbecue truck), toilets available.
