I was 9 and saw this in theaters with my mom and dad I was pissed going into it because there was a new Pokémon AND Digimon film out at the time only like the 1st or 2nd Pokémon movie ever made at the time and it was all the rage for my friends at the time. I was so pissed standing in line because 1. I didn't know what the hell "Original Kings Of Comedy" was, 2. I wanted to see the Pokémon movie, 3. I had 2 classmates in line ahead of us and guess what they were seeing??? Bingo the Pokémon movie. I went in there with my little crybaby attitude and immediately forgot all about Pokémon 10min in and was laughing my ass off, Bernie tore the house down you'd think we were at the show itself it was so live and I looked up at my mother and she was wiping tears Bernie had us in real deal tears. Not only was I so happy we saw that it was actually years before I even saw the Pokémon movie I was on to more adult shit after that 🤣🤣🤣 I even had cool points at school because only me and this other kid a girl had seen the movie as others weren't watching that type of stuff especially with their parents. So we had a time of inside jokes with just us knowing the show what each other meant with "wretch around and wrench it off!, BUST A MUTHAFUKKIN MOVE!" *sighs* man like you said a lifetime ago but great memories that I remember like it was yesterday.
Aside from just loving him, that whole kings of comedy tour it is funny to know they had him go last. At the time he was the least widely know or successful compared to the other 3, but they sure as hell didn’t want to follow him.
