you're full entitled to your opinion. I think its way more deeper than that and one of the greatest book to tv adaptions i've ever seen. The whole aura of Louis' pain throughout season 2 is incredible writing if you ask me. They incorportaion of supernatural elements in relation to drinking 'bad blood' for example..excellent.

I like how the revenant vampire is not just like a mindless zombie, just primal, he acts pretty much like a predatory animal would, intimidating Claudia and Louis to defend his prey from potential competition and minding his own business unless he feels threatened, instead of just mindlessly attacking everything on sight like a zombie
