The first time I watched the opening I thought it was ok, but watching it multiple times makes me like it more.

Personally I think with this OP, Attack on Titan has gone beyond the "anime" category.
Anime was never an inferior category, not only aot, tons of anime have proven that 'anime' will be goat. I am so hyped up tho

The production team that made this opening is a genius. It is shocked that other animations never have, and it expresses the world view of Attack on Titan well. I like it most in the opening of Attack On Titan.

Actually love how they changed everything. It went from such a patriotic type of theme but at season 4 it became completely disastrous type of theme. Fits what AoT has become in season 4.

I re-watch this every now and then and each time I focus on the girl on the right side. That's a genuine reaction if I've seen one and when the marching scene comes in she shifts from confused to frightened. Just like me when I first watched the intro. This part 1 of S4 was lit and by far the creepiest. S3 is a good runner up.

I get so hyped for this, I skip it at night so I don’t gotta watch it and not have to listen or anything, it’s to hype and makes me move like crazy.

When you first time eatching the opening, even for me who never read the manga. Its still hype like whoah.. This is the most epic opening
I remember being pumped up as much as all those dudes (if not more) once I started watching "My War" for the first time. And the whole final season, so far, delivered AF
This opening probably has the reason why its named "my war" it shows footage of what war is (sorta I guess) with that scene where it showed somebody firing a flamethrower or those soldiers marching probably being a reference to the German soldiers marching in Paris in ww2
The opening is trying to tell us that "ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN!! "

This is the best opening in all anime for me
you know this anime is amazing and I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone, it’s just sometimes with anime’s like these people separate the manga readers and the people who just watched the anime. It’s like the manga readers are supreme or something like that, and how the people who watched the anime don’t get to understand things or something along the lines of that (couldn’t think of the words).
I was just watching this peacefully until my eyes was suddenly pulled in the lower-right at 0:49

If you watched this opening at the beginning of season 1- no, even the beginning of season 3 part 2, you wouldn’t guess it was Attack on Titan if you didn’t read the title screen.
