My mij strat. Outplayed anything fender makes today except custom shop. I bought mine in 88 and one guy there laughed because I bought a Japanese strat. The neck is chunky and the rosewood is amazing. I added a bone nut and Seymour Duncan pups with CTS pots. I love it. It's my number one
Yes! Surprisingly theyre the texas specials. I took out some of the mids on the amp. Maybe it is also just the video processing and the way it sounds when the camera compresses it.
+Jona de Graaf I dont really play to backing tracks much, I lay a lot of stuff down on a looper but most of the time it's a simple chord progression then I just noodle on top. There's never really much structure, I'm just going through the scales. What I have been doing a lot lately though is think of chord progressions as numbers instead of letters, i.e the Nashville number system.
Pentatonic all 5 ...good now just had the blue note in all 5 scales and voila....its that simple mate you'll instantly hear it under your own finger tips and if you want to improve overall you need to understand chord voicings and the more chord progressions (ie a 145 or a 6125) you know, the better pentatonics start to sound. Just remember it's either cheesy sounding or blues sounding depending on playing the right pentatonic over the right chord...
I have a blues junior 2 that i got used for a great price, its a little worn out on the outside, but it sounds phenomenal. Stock! Cant resist the occasional fuzz and wah though :P

I have one, and i highly recommend, if you have the chance to buy one, DO IT. One of the best necks and feels. They are perfect in my opinion.

amp setting pleaseee
Man how do you get to play like this? I know all five positions of the pentatonic and blues scales but I'm finding it very difficult to play like this
+Cezarguitar listen to the masters, don't use tabs, learn by earn, and just play.
+Jona de Graaf If only it was that simple!!! I've been trying for years
it's not simple, but if you have the dedication (and talent) you can do it. Do you play to backing tracks?

I have a blues junior 2 that i got used for a great price, its a little worn out on the outside, but it sounds phenomenal. Stock! Cant resist the occasional fuzz and wah though :P
