Hey Matt. Theres one game that (not sure if you have covered it yet) i played as a kid called 'Kart Fighter ' It was a bootleg game that tried to be street fighter with mario characters. It cotrolled like crap and had so many characters names misspelled in hilarious ways. Hope you cover it someday!
Oh yeah that game’s infamous among bootlegger circles. I dunno if Matt would be able to justify an episode on it, since it wasn’t exactly the most legitimate of releases, but I’m sure it would be a real stinker if he does review it on this show someday >w

7:25 that's not entirely true, the PAL version already had the conversations removed. This looks like a repackage of the PAL version, it's wild you got this game so late, I was playing this in 1995. And let's be honest, Final Bout is way worse than Ultimate Battle 22. At least the combat is snappier than the snoozefest of Final Bout.

Matt, I want to thank you for introducing me to Graven. Watched you play it and decided to grab it. I’m having a great time with it. I’d love to see you play some more FPS’ on Flophouse Plays!
There's a beat em up on MS-DOS i'm fairly sure was called something like Warriors, there was two versions of it if i recall correctly, i cant remember much about it other than one of the characters was an amazonian type woman and there was a jungle stage Tried to look it up but could not find it, pretty sure it should be on the list.

Is Dragon Ball GT Final Bout the first dragon ball game in Amerca? i bet that was wildly confusing. finishing the Saiyan Ark than buying a game with Super Saiyan Kid Goku, Cell, Buu, Super Saiya 2, Saiya 4 and Super Baby
Depending where you lived; in Canada we were always *two sagas behind.* Unless you convinced your parents to splurge for upgraded packages you saw namek while Buu was fought by Vegeta. It was confusing to have Super2 in Budekai 2; as Cell wasn't fully released even. However, we had Budekai close to the release of Cell in Japan; but the low production rate made them hard to find. TL:DR? Yes, and no. But yes. But also no.
Well. There is a fighting game released back in 2005 for a handheld console called nokia n-gage tittled "one" also another game tittled "one sequel" which is the fellowup on n-gage 2.0

So the transition sound that plays between the game feel and presentation parts, where is that sound from? My wife and I can't figure it out and it's mildly bugging us.
I could have sworn it was from Killer Instinct, during the arcade mode when it shows off the ladder of fighters you have to fight, but checked to make sure and it's not. Really confused now.
So I know this is completely unrelated, but there's a game in early access called Viscerafest that is 100% your thing Matt. It's a old style Doom like fps with comedy and charm that I really think you'll like.
I always feel bad for the teams who made games with those extremely small budgets and short schedules that are on this list. Then you see the games that had way more time and money to finish that come out even worse😂.
As an FPS fan, I find it refreshing to see the evolution of a different genre and the games that stick out as massive evolutions of the formula. Finding out what the equivalents to Doom or Half life, and how they pushed the industry forward
As much as I like seeing you play the worst Dragon Ball games, I’m surprised that there hasn’t been a What Happened on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League yet.

Hey matt, try adding Super Godzilla on SNES to this list. It's a rare kind of fighting game I think you can try to fit on this list. It can definitely make a good attempt to place high on the list.
Played this game on its original release. Sucked, but has three good things. The intro, the 27 characters (amazing at that moment of time) and the music, the music is amazing! The rest… sucks. But played it for hours.
I played DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 back in 2001, and even then, the game sucked balls, to anyone that would care... there is a code for the PS One version to unlock 5 extra characters bumping it up to Ultimate Battle 27.
This could very well be the final time we will ever hear "I have seen the amateur, and it is YOU!", so let us savor it as much as we possibly can!
Shit you not, as soon as I read the title of the video, my brain immediately went "I have *seen* the amateur"
Turns out the real amateurs were the friends we met along the way…
I'll miss the Quote
but only because the Voice is so batshit hillarious lmao
I honestly thought that line was "I have seen you jerking it"
I think I'll stick with my head canon
That intro hits different now...RiP Toriyama.
Yeah, it made me wince a little... oof.
It's a fresh wound, especially when you've seen the piccolo wave panel toriama did. 👋
I love the idea of each winning game getting it's own saga

I saw it coming, but man... this is quite the saga to watch after Expect No Mercy claimed the top.
"I HAVE SEEN THE AMATEUR AND IT IS YOU!!": The Movie.

War Gods - a Midway-developed clone of Mortal Kombat with inferior mechanics
Master's Fighter - an inferior clone of Street Fighter II that feels very basic
Transformers Transmetals - a 3D fighter with two different versions with mediocre gameplay
Xenophage Alien Bloodsport - Apogee/3D Realms' one and only venture to fighting games with broken mechanics
Clayfighter 63 1/3 - the third installment of the forgotten claymation series of fighting games considered by many as the low-point of the series

Iron & Blood Warriors of Ravenloft - a 3D fighting game based on Dungeons and Dragons with unbalanced gameplay
