Whenever @Caddicarus meets his viewers in real life, a shocking amount of them tell him that his videos help them fall asleep. No, I don't understand either. And so, here we are with the brand new Caddy Sleeps channel. Specifically designed and edited in a way to be as sleep-friendly as possible, the lovely @PelvicGaming has taken various segments from Caddicarus videos, cut them down to remove all the chaos, removed any silly sudden noises, kept the skits to a minimum and levelled all the audio to be balanced so you can fall asleep to it all as much as possible. Or you can study to them. Or you can relax to them. Whatever you chose to do, get ready for the ultimate British ASMR about video games. Or you could call them Caddicarus funny moments or Caddicarus out of context, except the context here is that you have to try and use these as background noise while you study or relax to.
Games in this Caddicarus compilation include Skylanders Xbox 360 gameplay, as in the first original Skylanders Spyro's Adventure gameplay, Sonic Free Riders review and Sonic Free Riders gameplay for the Kinect, Thrill Kill PS1 gameplay, 101 Dalmatians 2 Patches London Adventure PS1 gameplay, The Simpsons Skateboarding review with The Simpsons Skateboarding PS2 gameplay, Crash of the Titans Xbox 360 gameplay alongside a collection of Crash Bandicoot Bootleg games for the iPhone and Gameboy Advance, Over the Hedge Nintendo DS gameplay also known as Hammy Goes Nuts, 5 Loaves 2 Fishes gameplay on the PC and other weird oddities like Toy Story Zizzle, Disney's Dinosaur PS1 gameplay, Get Fit with Mel B Kinect gameplay on the Xbox 360, Thrasher Skate and Destroy PS1 gameplay and review, The Guy Game PS2 gameplay that was also on Xbox when it REALLY shouldn't have been, Cars Xbox 360 gameplay with a brief mention of Cars PSP, Fight of Gods Steam gameplay featuring Jesus - not forgetting the classic Save Jesus Steam gameplay, Bee Movie Game Xbox 360 gameplay that also came out on PS2, Shrek Treasure Hunt PS1 gameplay and Crash Tag Team Racing PS2 gameplay - leading into other kart racing games such as Lego Racers 2 PS2 gameplay and even Dreamworks Super Star Kartz PS3 review and PS3 gameplay, which strangley wasn't released anywhere else. I like to fall asleep to your videos SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE they're so high energy and talky and overstimulating. Basically I get racing thoughts at night if it's quiet, so the constant fast paced talking and skits let my brain continuously focus on something else other than racing nighttime anxiety thoughts. So big thanks for making this channel, I never would have thought so many other people do this either, lol

As an anxiety ridden person I can kinda understand that, once I start falling asleep and realized I missed parts of the videos I know I'm very ready for bed

The FoldingIdeas essays on NFTs, Decentraland and GameStop. And the HBomberguy essays on Roblox, Plagiarism, and Pathologic. they're all good length, with minimal shouting, and I'm super familiar with the content so I can zone out.

I appreciate the audio mixing for this. A lot of folks just throw their videos as sleeping compilations with zero sound work for proper sleeping, so thanks for doing so!
Can you elaborate on the mixing? I don’t have a side by side comparison at the moment and am just listening to this throufh my phone speaker currently
@@swr.nezumi the audio is limited to a certain volume level, So it can’t get too loud and wake you up. If caddy shouts it will be the same volume level as everything else in the video for example.
It also unintentionally makes certain scenes funnier by cutting out some bits.

As someone who explicitly made a playlist of my fav caddicarus vids to play when I head to sleep, this channel feels like targeted advertising.
I also adore that the editing makes this look like a caddicarus episode that's actually about hyperfixation and how it waxes and wanes constantly.

This feels so full circle because I used to listen to your videos all the time when I was trying to fall asleep in my first college dorm, and now there’s these 😂
I know these are sleep videos, but so far I'm loving them as background noise while I'm working! It's great to not have to find another video for the next two hours while I'm trying to focus, but if I want to take a break for a minute I can just tune back in and immediately get whats going on without thinking I missed anything. And the backing music on the videos is usually mixed low enough I can compose at the same time!

one thing though, i think it’d be nice to have a pause between the different videos, just enough to make it clear the topic is changing when listening. it was a bit disorienting to listen to because suddenly the next sentence was about an entirely different game.

Y'know, what's funny about these compilation videos is I don't actually use them for sleeping, BUT they do make excellent background noise for when I'm doing other things, usually engaging in different hobbies like drawing or building sets or playing video games. Thank you for your service, Caddi, in helping to keep me engaged since my brain is cursed with ADHD and is unable to focus on one thing at a single time haha

i know you've said you don't know why people fall asleep to your videos, but here's my answer: i really enjoy repetition and familiar stuff to relax, otherwise i'm too focused on listening to fall asleep. i've watched your videos so many times i know some of them line for line, but they're so engaging i still want to listen to them; and they're long enough i don't have to worry about them ending before i manage to fall asleep. which is a roundabout way of saying they're some of my favorite videos on youtube ❤

I like to say that first skylander is a masterpiece of a game. When i finnished the game the first time i cried for a few minutes(i was young) and now its a very good way to get trough hangover. Had a bit too much to drink last night just push the cd in and u can basicallya afk in real life.

Y'know I think it would be funny to put some of the loud bits in but just edit them to have incredibly soothing noises. Like Caddi throwing something off screen and instead of a loud crash it's just a *bloop* of water.
Thanks for this compilation. I have a lot of trauma so sleeping is difficult and I need sound but sudden loud noises scare the crap out of me. The sound mixing and editing done to the videos makes them so comfortable to listen to 💕

I don't know. I fall asleep to a lot of my favorite UA-camr's videos, and I have seen many people share the same experience,
But it's not because "I am so bored I fell asleep", it's because whenever I watch my favorite youtubers I feel completely relaxed.
Also from my experience I only fall asleep to UA-camrs that I like and I am already very familiar with. So I feel there's also a degree of closeness in this. (I don't want this to sound too weird but you can imagine this being like some bedside talks with a friend, and you just feel really relaxed that you fall asleep to a good friend's rambles.
after a whole day's work, I can finally turn my brain off and just enjoy the contents and completely relax, and fall asleep, and for me that's a great way to end my day.

I’ve been sick for a while now, just normal cold stuff but it caused me to throw up this morning. I haven’t slept. I love that there’s a South British accent (at least it sounds South to me, someone who lives in Kent) that I can just listen to for once. I’ve never played any game you have ever talked about…literally. But it’s comforting to have an Essay video with British comedy and an accent that doesn’t annoy or confuse the hell out of me.
Also yes Brits have different accents.
