- In this video, I open up about my four-year hiatus from UA-cam and reflect on what led to my absence. I sincerely apologize for not keeping you all updated and share the reasons behind my time away, as well as my conflicting feelings on the future of my channel.
I agree 100%. I know Dave Ramsey has helped a lot of people get out of debt. But there are times when he just misses the mark, not only politically but morally, and you're right to call him out for it.

Totally agree with you Dana. Glad to see you are doing well. . I used to listen to Dave. I used his concept and also out of debt. I was really hoping he stayed out of politics but he didn’t . I can’t follow someone who claims has character and seems ok with someone who obviously lacks it. As a woman, as a mother and as a minority cannot choose to vote for someone like Trump. Voting for Democracy 💙

I took the FPU course back in 2004, and have always shared Dave's babysteps, but I too, do not agree with his politics, which has made it harder to refer anyone to him these days. So nice to hear you're doing well and I truly wish you the best.

It’s so good to see you!!! Dave Ramsey lost my respect when he didn’t hold Chris Hogan to the same moral code he holds his other employees to until he was forced to. His greed was on full display at that point. I haven’t been able to listen to him since. I still appreciate the financial advice he gives. If he had stuck to that focus, I think I would still be a listener. I’m really surprised he’s veered into politics now. Ugh.

Considering aforementioned troubles, one was quite concerned things had somehow gone seriously bad, and making videos had become the furthest thing from your mind.
It's a relief to see and hear things are great. The world is watching and hoping America won't backpeddle further and become a puppet state for Putin.

I'm so tired of people claiming to be Christians and then living from the Old Testament and not the good news that Jesus brought to us. What courage you showed in publishing this! @Melissa-Isaiah61BeautyforAshes As I personally see it, and this isn't the place for the topic really...Old Testament : Jewish laws and traditions like eye for an eye, reciprocal justice, transactional relationships.
New Testament: God is Love and made manifest amongst us. Jesus' works and words taught love, courage, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, humility, morality: love God and love others. Look at people, real, living, breathing, hurting humans and help them, do not condemn them. Lead them to the Light with your Love and the Holy Spirit, not with dogmatic beliefs and rituals.
So my comment was sort of like how Jesus criticized the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and lack of focus on internal righteousness. They were very good at appearances: cleaning their dishes and making sure their cups were just right and following all the laws but their hearts were not where they should be. They took advantage of widows, sought after riches, and such.
I had been following your channel about 6/7 years now and I always held hope with you coming back, glad to see you back! 🎉❤ I want to say your tips have helped me in my life. I know I already commented but still wanted to thank you again!

Glad to see you're ok! :) I believe I discovered Dave Ramsey through you and I watched a bit of his show, but stopped because it became clear fairly quickly that some of the core values he pushed didn't align with mine and I didn't want to support that type of content. People are struggling right now financially. It’s a perfect time to be back. We have always been debt averse, but here we are in debt. We’ll get out of it, but I am starting to lean in to some of my old finance channels. I’d love for you to come back into this space.

Wow... this was a surprise, but so very welcome. I was not surprised by Ramsey's interview and take on the situation, I think his support of Trump is very inline with everything else he presents tot he world. It is important to realize that he didn't "Create" any of this. He repackaged it, did a great job of marketing it and many people have benefitted by his doing so. But my mother did all the same things half a century ago. Thank you for coming on and speaking your mind and your heart.

I've missed you so very much! Also I am South African so I don't really understand the politics in America very well. I don't agree with Dave R. on most of his political views, but I still love the guy. Listening to him for financial issues has help me a lot. So I completely understand how you feel about him. Ramsey never held Trump to account to answer any questions. Ramsey's statement about being a non-political channel was total B.S.! Enough about them!
