I just heard you say that it would be helpful to have a brochure for carers! I sooo could use that!

❤ i had a haemorrhagic stroke and im very grateful for the surgery .the other wasn't an option ..5 hours in royal Melbourne hospital. Then 6 months in rehabilitation . I can remember some of it especially the nasogastric tube being inserted ..interesting story..xx I didn't know about the jaw muscle . I had half of my hair chopped off . My sister cut it all off ..being a rehabilitation nurse it was very interesting being on the other side of the bed ..

I have had 3 crainiotomies in the past 2.5 years. My most recent 2 months ago, The edema in my head caused a 15 mm midline shift. My faith in Jesus is the only reason why i'm still here.

I totally agree with this video. I had my craniotomy to remove a baseball sized meningioma and they didnt really tell me what to expect post surgery. I don’t know what is worrysome and what is normal really. I have this pressure on the top of the head where my tumor was and it throbs. But I don’t know if this is just part of the recovery process. Also my blood pressure has been higher and my heart rate sometimes is higher. I still get dizzy and blurry vision.

My child was just diagnosed. She’s a single mom with 2 children and she lives out of state. How can I help? What things to do presurgery to put things in place?

I wish I had the opportunity to low what was about to happen to me, didn't have a tumor but Blood clot and 2yrs nowafterwarrds still down with stroke, seizures, girlfriend took daughter and moved to another place, couldn't get a job, fully blind in one eye, lost peripheral vision in the other eye, having memory loss and had to go back to home country for traditional medicine, sometimes I wish I never had to go through it

I wish I would have seen this before my second surgery. I can agree Drs don’t say the outcome after surgery. I wish I was told I would feel the sharp pains in my skull. It hurts when I yawn. The inside of my head hurts like if something is pinching me really hard. If I could go back and cancel my surgery I would have.
