C'mon, people, the Master Of Masters is OBVIOUSLY Sora's mom. Think about it, Master Of Masters... MOM. She's trying to restart the universe without darkness in it so that Sora won't skip dinner to go fight evil.
My theory is that the Master of Masters is Nomura himself. - He essentially “foretold” (wrote) the “future” (plot) of the series. - We can’t hear his name because it would be incomprehensible to us if it was him. - He’s always countless steps ahead from us because he’s making it up as he goes. - He started off the war so that the future he envisioned would happen. - Because we know he would be the type to do it for reasons.
why would you propose the nomura is mom theory without mentioning that in the kh4 trailer the mom is literally standing on the Square Building in shibuya
KH community making all sort of theories about MoM true identity because of his hide face meanwhile, Nomura make the character wear a hood, so he don't need to bother to create his design so soon XD
@@Luxstar13 yeah cause Nomura is kind of throwing stuff in at random. Like Xion, wasn’t thought of until after kh2 Since 358/2 days came after kh 2 with no mention of Xion
@@DidNotSeeYouThere most long running stories aren’t thought of completely from the beginning nomura basically started out only writing about one game ahead as he came up with chain of memories after he came up with two which was during the development of kh. So it’s not really an issue that she was introduced after especially considering it was explained pretty solidly considering the entire structure of kh
I could accept the MoM being Sora somehow but it really depends on the how and why. There's definitely a connection when MoM says he's been fighting the Keyblade war since he was a child, which is basically also true for Sora (15/16 is still pretty child stage imo) as well as Sora's lion origins and other "King" motifs giving a connect to Pride, the last deadly sin that MoM is assumed to have a namesake of. I would also prefer if he was his own character, though. The similarities they do share will only make for more compelling interactions when they do meet, if they are different characters.
I personally think MoM is either the void of the Final World or Kingdom Hearts itself in human form. MoM needs a keyblade wielder strong enough to save him from Darkness. The coat may ward off darkness, but it is not a permanent solution. Xehanort saw a terrible future, perhaps the death of the MoM to Darkness and realized the only solution was the light from a strong heart, that of a keyblade wielder's, to rise up to the challenge. He decided to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors in training the future generations, although with a quicker method because of how fast the darkness grows. The importace of MoM being the void of the Final World is to represent the last salvation for hearts to go to, when the body and soul are lost. Kinda felt like when Yozora met Sora in the Final World, the dark sky was meant to represent the MoM slowly falling to darkness, in which Yozora was described to appear differently. Although the Sora in the secret episode is not Sora, but rather a Xion-like Sora, in which to us, Sora looked like himself with all his memories in tact, but rather Yozora saw Sora as someone else and was quite thrown off and highly aggressive. Everything so far has been Xehanort grooming Sora to become the person he is at the end of KH3. He realized this destiny that the hope he truly wished for was Sora to be the savior when he met MoM in the flashback of the re:mind dlc. Sending Kairi to the destiny islands was not by chance. He wanted Kairi to be the beacon that lit Sora's path, instead of Sora succumbing ot the darkness. Perhaps the reason why Xehanort visited the islands so often was to check the progress of Sora's growth. Xehanort probably believed than he needed to show Sora more despair at the end of KH3 to further prepare his heart, but Eraqus stopped him because he had done enough and to save Master Xehanort from getting lost to the darkness. I think that the rules of using the power of waking are made up by Xehanort throughout time to stop keyblade wielders from recklessly using it. He goads Sora about Sora's reckelss use to not dissuade, but test his heart of its conviction. On a side note, does Sora now wield the X-blade? It looked like Xehanort bequeathed it to Sora, similar to the other rituals. Sora was able to fully use the X-blade to stop Kingdom Hearts after Master Xehanort gave it to him and passed on. Landi Lodge's video about the bequeathing was the same theory i had concluded to.
@@eliasacevedo5711 i might have the wording wrong but basically if you know the crystallis storyline then what I mean is Noctis is like a general of the L’cie and they are given a Focus. Also the KH/Disney world is a dream, Sora wakes up in the “real world”
The longer this goes on, the longer I believe it. I've also just heard a pretty convincing argument that the Master of masters true name is.. Light. AKA _Lux_ in Latin!
Yes. NextGenNovelist also said this would be an interesting angle and another Kingdom Hearts content UA-camr Landi Lodge also suggested this idea. I personally think his name is Lucifer since in Latin that means Lightbringer and that would tie in with him being connected to the light. After all sometimes light is not good and darkness isn’t always evil. It all depends on how a person wields it.
didn't we see sora's gazing eyes while fighting young xehanort? It could explain why so many keyblades have the gazing eyes, since such keyblades owners are related to either sora or master of masters. Why does vanitas have two eyes in keyblade? because he was related to both Sora and Master of Masters, No name keyblade awakened him.
@@ChaniTsunami229 🤣🤣🤣 But wouldnt it mean Sora is L'cie too? Dude turned to crystal after all after his fight with Yozora. Bet Sora's focus was to lose?
According to the source from which the foretellers are inspired, the sins are represented by animals, Snake for Envy (Invi); Bear for Sloth (Aced); Unicorn for Wrath (Ira); Fox for Avarice (Ava); Panther for Gluttony (Gula) and we also have Goat for Lust (Luxu, remember his keyblade and also Xehanort's goat armor on his Scala boss fight) and at last a Lion for Pride, which is considered the worst sin from which the others come from, and the opposite of Pride is the virtue of Humility, which is Sora's biggest trait and proof of his simplicity (he is also always around lion and royalty imagery, crowns, thrones, etc. Myabe Kingdom Hearts universe exists in a loop, or is a collective dream, and kingdom hearts itself resets the universe (as Xehanort stated) but literally, starting itself all over again in the age of fairytales. Maybe Sora would have been broken out of this cycle and grew up trying again and again to stop it, eventually realizing that its pointless, accepting his fate, becoming nihilistic chill about knowint it all, writting the book of prophecies and starting to help fate unfold itself by playing with wielders like pieces in a game. Maybe younger Sora's last enemy is himself, having to face what he would become if he lost faith and was alone, his older self who lost hope and accepted destiny as it is. (They wouldn't share mannerism because if the master is an older broken Sora he would've changed, and one of the most famous lines about this series is Kairi's "Don't ever change" and it would be tragically ironic if this other version of Sora did change)
Considering Nomura wanted Noctis from Versus XIII to be Soras literal opposite, possibly having them meet each other in future games if it did release. Now we have Yozora in the same exact way they teased Versus XIII it would make me flip shit if he was Noctis at the end of the day. The MoM is a Final Fantasy character 😭 The Warrior of Light himself 🤷🏽♂️ have to wait and see. That’s my personal theory though.
Darkest timeline sora that results of one possibility of the journey of hubris, started in KH3. For sora is pride, the final sin that the foretellers were galvanized by. His own sins, his darkness (vanitas), all parts of himself that helped create each and every world we know, as shown in KHUX. The book of prophecies his life, his end goal, completely unknown
Vanitas is Ventus' darkness, he only looks like Sora because Sora was the piece Ven needed to be whole. Sora doesn't really have a darkness in physical form unless maybe you want to say Darkside since he is so linked to it and it is the most reoccurring special heartless he fights.
@@blastortoise i understand your point. If we follow that logic though, ventus is decades older, as his relationship with 'darkness' and whatever would be his own darkness. The likeness of Sora doesnt bear any factor there, sure when ventus was split he went into sora, but that wouldn't retrofit the appearance of his darkness, or any 'darkness' that preceded. If we also take the point of Sora having a connection to 'darkseids', which i believe he does, Darkseids appear throughout the dark realm, data realms and others.. throughout time. In KHUX, KHBBS Re:Coded...they seem to be the oldest and most consistent form for manifestation of any strong 'heartless'. Frankly, the point further enforces my theory of Sora being MoM, as he created/ recreated all conceivable worlds, is connected to all hearts and will eventually go far enough back in time to imprint his true heartless in the separation of his sins and darkness, as a Darkseid, to be echoed across each iteration of KH thusfar. Darkseid is seen in Book of Prohecies as well. Ventus, i believe, is manifested due to Sora taking the 'dark road' as Xehanort did. Ventus is the true child of light, borne of Soras choices, to balance them. Just as we see Riku, a possible analog of Xehanorts choices, reconciling the 'dark road' to his self proclaimed, 'road to dawn'. Their parallels in trajectory being hinted at in BBS and DDD i.e. Destiny Island shore scenes. Cant wait to see how it unfolds!
@@blastortoise Sora, however, seems to have had a large impact on Vanitas as a separate offspring of 'Darkness' as a separate but connected entity. Based on what Vanitas said himself in KH3, he is the shadow that both Ventus AND Sora cast, so it would make sense that such an offshoot of 'Darkness' (who is referred to as a plural identity so being more than one individual but rather a group) came from Ventus while his physical appearance and personality was adapted from Sora since Sora healed Ventus as a baby, and by proxy Vanitas as well. Vanitas is the closest thing we have to Sora's darkness other than his Anti Form.
I could see him as being an alternate version of Sora from some timeline separate from the main timeline and the unreality timeline where it’s similar to the main timeline but things went differently. The book of prophecies could be depicting the events of his timeline and he purposely wanted things to change by having Luxu and the Foretellers doing things differently, like Luxu taking bodies instead of passing the keyblade down and the Union leaders not following the rules set for them, to hopefully get the timeline to be right. The one reason I could see him being Sora is because the series has started being like a J-Drama or Toku show and lately they’ve been into that storyline so Nomura might be doing his take on it.
I like this theory, it explains some dynamics I've seen in the series. The way Xigbar in KH2 treats Sora could be a reversal of Luxu and the Master. Also the all seeing eye being on the enemies weapons Sora faces through his journey is the Master tracking his growth.
Here's an analysis of what is implied implicitly and explicitly in the yozora and sora scene. Yozora exclaims with confusion and surprise "you're sora?!" and subtly hints that that's not what "sora" looks like. (Implying there's a DIFFERENT VERSION of Sora in a different FUTURE timeline or reality) Yozora claims to want to save sora from himself (implying that a FUTURE version of sora has done something bad or a grave mistake) Yozora claims that he himself has lost his form (making a FUTURE or alternate reality version of yozora and sora different looking characters with possibly different personalities) Now an analysis of what we know of yozora's and sora's situation We know yozora's world is a world from another time and/or reality. We know that world suffers a catastrophic attack, as if a rift has opened and it's swallowing the world as seen in the toy story scene, but it's not shown who did it. We know Sora can reverse or go forward in time, along with xehanort, and the master of masters, but this has grave consequences if done repeatedly, because the traveler could get distorted, die, or get corrupted. (Could sora have traveled through time many times and has changed, as yozora implies. Could the sora we know now simply be one of many different in points in time backwards and forward into the future? And if this is the case, is the master of masters a version of Sora that has abused the power of time travel, which in return distorted his appearance and changed his personality?) Master of masters is hinted to have found immortality through time travel, and living infinitely will change your personality and look.
I only think sora is master because something Nomura said remember how sora pulled kingdom key out of raiko on destiny islands Nomura said that is how the master makes keyblades he pulls them out of people's heart's but now he sounds like some apostle if light then
I find it dam curious why kingdom hearts changes from that lightbulb color to the black/purple darkness color when Xehanort beams it with the xblade that was made out of the fkn baphomet keyblade.
Here’s a theory, what if Demyx is the master of masters. Now I know but listen to this. Demyx without the x is demy = “half” or “small”. So here’s the theory, what if Demyx is only half a person. Or rather, part of a whole. We never see Demyx as a human being with an actual heart, he is always a nobody. What if he doesn’t have a heart or it left him. But unlike normal nobodies that retain their old memories, he retains false memories or a limited amount of memories. This way the heart of MoM could live on in hiding in quadratum until the time was right, while his body with a lack of memories and no heart lives a separate life; not attracting darkness. Darkness is drawn towards the light in peoples hearts, but since Demyx doesn’t have a heart he is just an empty shell trying to fit in where he feels that he doesn’t. Even as an organization member he hated it when sora said that nobodies don’t have hearts. For a chill dude, he took that to heart (pun not intended). It’s because he knows he can’t get one. The minute he’s destroyed he’s back to a nobody. The only one who would know is Luxu and he would be keeping his eye on the Masters body until he returns. Demyx is even fond of Luxu which is revealed in the secret reports in KH3. It all ties together in the most chaotic way possible. Demyx has no goals in life, because he doesn’t even know who he is. He just likes peace and the sound of his guitar
MoM not being Demyx would mean he could try acting buddy buddy to the protags while they feel awkward without any hidden motives Which I would freaking love
Sora could teach himself the truth without ever learning it himself. Like Future Sora tells Young Sora which is why Sora becomes the MoM that teaches Sora later in life
I think what ultimately breaks this theory is the mechanics of time travel in the kh universe. Unless I'm miss remembering the only way it would work is if the sora we play as is actually a replica brought from the past as its impossible for some one to go back to a point in time where they don't already exist.
@Gabriel Gonzalez I see. But everyone is jumping to conclusions that sora is mom if that is the case why is organization 13 trying to convert sora into darkness. In dark road xeahort said he is trying to stop darkness and in union cross mom is running away from darkness but sora is just fighting and looking for answers how to keep his friends safe. So if sora is mom I think something while trigger in times of need but it didn't happen
@Gabriel Gonzalez given the timeline of how KHX-UX->Now none of that makes sense. They already established the order of time, and two “realities” are to seperate sora from yozora, not sora, soras alt, and yozora.
@@roopereimi1718 given it has been a mess to this point, the given route forward established in the latest story update of KHUX seems to point otherwise at the significance of who MoM is as a character. Which further pulls away from the theory that sora is the MoM. It is very clearly explained how the book works, what MoMs goals were, and how MoM is able to return in Quadratum. MoM needed the book and Luxu's memories as his anchor point. If sora was indeed the MoM, Sora would have been the only anchor point he needed, yet he couldnt return at all until Luxu made it so.
I still believe that MoM is Master Odin -Both have 1 eye -Both have an eye that can see the future (In Norse Mythology, Ravens were Odin's all seeing eye) -Both have seen many wars (Ragnarok)
kinda hard to have sora be the MoM especially if they try to say tike travel cause like how can he be from a time in which he wasnt born yet or go back to a time in which he wasnt born yet, doesnt really make sense to try that route but idk i could just be thinking wrong
There is two ways you could explain him being able to go all the way back to that time and it’s with Ventis and his heart being in Sora since no matter what Sora keeps a piece of Ventis for some reason in his heart. Though that would mean he could only go 16 years before Union cross which doesn’t leave a lot of time to train the Foretellers. The other possibility is a Time loop which has been hinted at for a long time with all the Key Blade Wars always repeating themselves no matter what with 7 lights and 13 darknesses. The war we saw with the Foretellers wasn’t the war the master was talking about specifically but rather the all the wars in general as everyone ends in Darkness winning from Union cross to the mini war with Terra Aqua and Ventis the only one that didn’t that we know of is The masters war and The war in KH3 which is odd for there to be two outliers
Quick question for time travel you need a body or a past version of yourself from that time so how does that explain a "future version" Sora appear back then because I doubt they had replicas back then.
When the Master of Masters told young Xehanort his name and it was muted i audibly said to my self “he’s Sora isn’t he?” Idk why but as a fan of the series for most of my life, that’s what popped into my head
Lilli Correct. More Precisely it is Disney spelled backwards. Master Yen Sid was Walt Disney’s nobody all along! And the Master of Masters is his heartless!
I think it would be cool if MoM was his own original character, but at the same time (with no evidence) I think it would be cool for him to be revealed to be an older Riku. Riku at the beginning of the series struggled with the darkness in himself and over the course of the series he has come to balance the light and the dark to become a Keyblade Master. The MoM is morally gray, and obviously very smart. Sora tends to be very emotional, even in the later games, and Riku is now more level headed and has always been very smart. He also shared a body with Ansem and Ansem's heartless ability was to time travel. Maybe a future Riku is able to tap into this ability after some event that has yet to happen and able to travel back in time, become the Master of Masters and end the Keyblade Wars for good. If Sora was MoM it would be more out of character for him to not reveal to his friend in the "present" (past for MoM) that he is Sora. Where as if Riku is enacting some master plan, he would know Sora to be too emotional and wouldn't be able to share his identity, as Sora would want to know what's going on and would try to change the plan to save anyone from being hurt or used. A future Riku would have lived all of this, and would know that some events are required to happen in order to achieve the result he's hoping for. I think it could fit in as a nice end of Riku's growth in the series. We could see him struggle with and rationalize events that take place in future KH titles, and instead of falling back into the darkness, he takes on the weight of the world, orchestrating a final plan to end the wars. After it's all over, he gets to sit on the beach and reveal to Sora his identity as they stare off into the sunset and the screen fades to black.
~people also speculated sora was xehanort... people want this time travel ghero becomes bad corrupted by his own morality thing. It's just easy wish fulfillment
My thoughts almost exactly. At first, when I saw this theory a while ago, I brushed it off as some random theory that a person in the community came up with. I did not at all expect it to become one of the most popular theories in KH history. I just want Sora and the master to be their own characters. If Sora and the master were the same character, not only would it be pulling another Xigbar is Luxu type twist, but it would take away from the already established originality both of these characters have. The only way I could see this working is if the master was future Sora from an alternate worldline, in which the outcome of Sora's journey was drastically different, but even that would a bit hard to believe and accept. Either way, I highly doubt that this is the direction that the KH story is going and that no matter where it goes, Nomura will find a way for it to work, as well as make it as confusing as possible lol. Very great video, prodigy!
@@roopereimi1718 Even when not comparing to the Xigbar/Luxu reveal, I still want MoM to have his own original story. I want him to be his own original character, not another character that has already been established as someone else. Even if it is revealed that MoM is another character that we've previously known about, I would rather he be just about any other character besides Sora.
@@roopereimi1718 First, hearts within hearts, when it comes to Sora, is one of the most important plot points in the series. Second, I don't see how MoM being Sora would be thematically fitting. In fact, I think it's the opposite of thematically fitting. Third, it is not at all fair to compare this hypothetical and unlikely plotline to the death of Aeris in FF7. These two things are nothing alike, and one probably won't even happen.
I personally don't believe Sora (or Demyx) is the MoM but it WOULD be something Nomura would pull. Perhaps a Sora from an alternate reality/worldline? Lmao, so I can see it. I just don't agree with it. We'll see though! Eventually....
I saw a post on Facebook that showed Sora and the Master share some bits of body language, but it wasn't used to posit that they are the same person but rather to say it will be fun to see them meet and interact. (And by body language, I don't mean "standing in profile while looking slightly upward" like you had at 6:05) I don't believe in the "Sora is MoM" theory, but it is amusing. He's Nomura. Mastermind behind the plot? Check. Flings around complicated and convoluted lore? Check. Colossal troll? Check.
I was fully convinced it was Sora in the scene where MoM says the phrase “May your heart be your guiding key, i say that all the time” like COME ON IS IT ANY MORE OBVIOUS?!
"You either die a hero or live long enough to be a villain " This could be just Sora aka Master of master, would be super cool.....or could it be Riku????
That's an interesting theory, but the Yozora ending of KH3 kinda debunked it, since we saw Sora, Riku, Yozora, and possibly MOM in Quadratum at the same time, so Sora and MOM are different characters
We saw like fifty different Xehanort's at the same time, if Xemnas, Ansem, Young Xehanort and Terra-nort can all exist in the same room as old man Xehanort then I think a teenage Sora and an Adult MoM Sora could exist at the same time.
Good video. I hope the Master of Masters is his own character too. However don't be surprised if they pull another "Luxu" with him. They did the same "Xehanort isn't Xehanort" twist twice.
@@ProdigyxCD Well first we had Ansem Seeker of Darkness, who wasn't the real Ansem. He was the apprentice Xehanort while Ansem the Wise was a completely different character. Then they went further back making the apprentice Xehanort actually a amnesiac Terra and the real Xehanort was a old man possessing him with however percent control. I realize these are different then the Master being Sora, the point I was trying to say is that they can repeat a twist in the same series. Especially since the Master wears the same hood. Again, I hope MoM is his own character but you never know.
I dont feel like Master of Masters is arrogant. Cocky maybe but I just see cynacism and a snarky attitude. Maybe he feels like it just isnt worth fighting and tends to mock others for their choices.
Exactly what I think...why would you be any different than that if you know what's to come and also not being able to prevent it. Anyone would become cynic and mock others
In all honesty, I don't think that this is true. The MoM has the ability to see the future right? Well, where in the enireity of the KH saga does Sora seem to possess this ability? Sora can't predict the future and there's nowhere in the saga where Sora seems to see the future. This main detail clearly debunks the theory entirely. The MoM must be a new character. It's the only logical explanation. Demyx is a possibility, but honestly, he doesn't seem to see the future either. Plus, he's pretty weak and doesn't even have a fraction of the power the MoM seems to have.
@@nicholascarter8433 Even so, Sora being the MoM contradicts why Nomura wrote Sora the way he did. Sora is supposed to be a character in which we all can relate to. He's not a chosen keyblade wielder, so he's nothing special. He's written as an ordinary boy with hidden potential found in connecting with others. So for Sora to be this all powerful being is extremely far fetched. Besides, in certain cutscenes that we do see the MoM in, the way that he talks to Luxu has subtle hints that he, himself, may not be human. Sora, on the other hand, he's all human as far as we're concerned. It could be that the MoM is similar to Darkness and is an entity of light. But, either way I'm a wait and see kind of person.
@@acjmonkeyaj7139 I agree we should all just wait. However I was simply stating that based off your original comment (which your reply did not have anything to do with) it is still entirely plausible. I have no opinions on who the MoM is myself, I was simply commenting that your comment on time travel is misplaced due to the fact that IF the MoM is a future version of Sora and he picks up the ability to read into the future after his present self, that would mean his past self would not see all of the things in the future up until the “MoM Sora” had created the master keyblade. The only version of the MoM to see into the future was after that keyblade was made as well, so again it’s plausible.
It's Xigbar, he cut his eye out to make the keyblade that was handed down to and trained xeonort as his right hand. He played everything from the first game
I have no doubt that the Master of Masters is someone we may know. Why go through all the trouble concealing him if that's not the case. That's my belief.
Theory, sora is the master of masters, but not in the way everyone is thinking. The master of masters isn’t a person, or being of light. It’s a position. Sora, yozora and the person currently known as the M.O.M are all technically the master of masters, because they all have a claim, either current or yet to come to the title. The master of masters we see is simply the one who holds the figurative crown now. quadradum will be his testing ground, to see who is truly his successor, whom is verum Rex?
I think he could be!! Because Yozura was looking to take Sora out! Maybe he realized after his fight with him that he wasn’t the future Sora (aka MoM) and that’s why he said he would save Sora (if you lose your fight against him). Maybe he wanted to save him from his fate of becoming MoM ?
My theory has been that Master of Master is Luxu, after surviving the first Keyblade, finds a way to to put his gazing eye in a Keyblade to see if the past would repeat, wrote it down and gave series of instructions to his several apprentices (sending one away, who I like to think is the Sora ancestor of sorts but that's probably because the character shares a VA with Roxas I do believe) and proceeds to set off the chain of events where he gets what started it all, Kingdom Hearts. This also hinges on the shared VA with Xigbar/Luxu and the Master character, plus the way he talks reminds me more of Xigbar with direct disarming humor
Sora is nobody special or a special nobody like namine, but unlike her he doesn't alter memories. he alters hearts. the reaper heartless in kh3 for some reason gave me this idea. like if you view the reaper as sora, he isn't using his friends hearts but actually devouring them to gain power.
Yeah I've kinda always felt This is the case. The Master was always so laid back and carefree. There's a positivity to him that feels like a matured Sora to me. But still maintaining the childish side in his words. Plus the way he just vanishes. Be it Dead or just Gone. It's where My feelings always pointed me. Sora is the key to everything.
I find it interesting that we still don’t kno exactly who the foretellers are. We’ve never seen their full faces or kno who they were before or after they became foretellers. I wouldn’t be surprised if we learn more about the in the coming games.
I think that the MoM is like God from full metal alchemist "who am I. One name you might have for me is happiness or loneliness, love, hate, memories and the worlds you've traveled, your biggest dreams, your strangest thoughts I am even your strongest hopes and your darkest fears and your brightest light but sora most importantly I am you and I am also the thoughts guiding you to the same conclusion. Sora: and what conclusion is that? MoM: *looks at the screen* the perfect ending.......
See everything Prodigy said about Sora Cruz how special he is in the story and how special he was to connect with a heart of another keyblade wielder like Ventus it makes a lot of sense why that connection to from his heart to so many other people's hearts make his heart unique the ability to save people's lives heal in Mendham like ansem the wise had said he has the power to mend resurrect and restore hearts something any key by Walter has never done before except restaura which I believe does make him the most special in Uniqua novel series from beginning to the end of phase one like I said thank U prodigy and so many other true positive Believers in the upcoming of the main protagonist in Kingdom Hearts
Personally I think the Master of Masters' true identity is someone we haven't seen yet. I do think he set up the entire series just in order to train Sora to be the one to defeat darkness though
It would be interesting when both secret endings agains yozora would be true. One where Sora continues his journey throughout future kh titles and one, where he becomes the mom in the alternative timeline.
To be honest, I can see how Sora is the Master of Masters. He would obviously give himself that sort of name, but jokes aside, Master disappeared, and not in the sense of him dying but disappearing like Sora had. And with the power of waking being able to change the past with Sora's current power, it would be possible that an older and slightly battle hardened Sora could be the Master by truly turning back the clock to when the foretellers were around.
In back cover in the tower the masters stained glass is a papou fruit. Remeber when two people share one their destinies become intertwined forever, no matter what.
Goofy: Sora, do you know who the 3rd one might be? Sora: *shakes head* Donald: Cause Sora can't count! Sora: Hey, that's not related! MoM: Come on! Its simple. You six plus me is seven. Wait. Don't tell me I don't count!
If he's not a unique character... I want it to be Riku. He's a little more cocky than Sora, and I could see an older Riku doing all the mannerisms of MoM. His eye color matches the "Gazing Eye" better than Sora's as well.
I have a suggestion for this theory. What if something happens to sora that he becomes evil & and MoM and traveled back in time to fulfill his plan (whatever plan he has) and yozora kinda did the same but only to prevent sora from becoming evil and the MoM? Cuz I played KH3 Yozora's mission and I got both endings first I won against Yozora and witness that beautiful ending and then I choose to lose against Yozora and saw that ending as well but Soras and Yozoras lines got switched so I wonder a lot about this and fighting Yozora gave me that vibe like Yozora was trying to prevent something related to Sora. What do you ladies and gentlemen think about this?
I mean in 8:00 you can clearly see MoM movements and I can't shake the thought of *wait is that Sora?* because you can see some similarities between MoM movements and Sora movements when talking so thats why I believe Sora and MoM are the same but from different timelines.
@@roopereimi1718 to be 100% honest I agreed with your point nomura should explain all of this because it has people hyped but confused and that could cause some serious damage to the KH Saga
@@roopereimi1718 All I hope is that he doesn't destroy this franchise because I grow up with it and I'm too immerse in the KH saga and story line. When Sora dissapear at the end of KH3 I was so sad that I almost cried I can relate with Sora in many aspects so you could see how and why I want Sora back and I can say for a fact that Yozora is truly the key to it and the time travel idea got me really hyped up
If it is really planned that way, it would be interesting to see how they put it. For me the theory has neither head nor tail, it has no foundations. Why did the Xigbar / luxu plot twist work? Because clearly it was being planned from several titles back and that is why at first it was like "what?" but while I was analyzing it you ended up in the conclusion that it is fine (although there are still some loose ends) but nevertheless I do not see this in which Sora is MoM.
Personally I feel there are a lot of parallels drawn between Sora and MoM. Ever since KH1. Now a lot of them could be newly designed and weren't originally planned until MoM was conceived but they stand. There's always been Xibar's treatment of Sora. But more so now in KH3 with the reveal, why has Luxord, a person from Verum Rex, simply come to mess with Sora and then disappear? We also know MoM is wondering around in the unreal too. Yozora seems to know of a "Sora", Luxord clearly had intentions for Sora. What was the wildcard for? It obviously wasn't used against Xehanort. Was it meant for TWEWY? If so, how did he know he'd end up there? Who else could possibly know Sora would be there if not MoM. Now that part doesn't back up the Sora is MoM theory but it leaves it open. Did the MoM know it would happen thanks to his eye? Was it actually his plan? Or did he know because he lived it. Who knows.
The only way Sora could be the 'Master of Masters' comes down to these prerequisites: - Kairi did not, in fact, manage to be rescued at some point. If time travel is a plot device, so are the many universes or timelines began where Kairi lost her heart-- not just lose her heart, but her body potentially lost forever, too. Assuming Sora got her heart, she might not have a body or a means to return ever again-- assuming her heart was lost for good, regardless of her having a body or not, even a replica, Kairi is gone. If Sora loses kairi, the grief and sorrow, like DDD, will lead to Sora falling into darkness again. He does not need to be 'Norted' to become an antagonist. - Sora falls into darkness again, or even several more times. - SORA is the person who permanently loses their body, therein, they might appear or become recreated as an entity that is no longer the same person. Same soul, same powers, but their memory is gone, same for their entire identity. - All of Sora's friends are killed off or removed from his life at some point, numbing him enough to change his mannerisms around people, for THEIR sake. Making friends, only to lose them... can do a lot to a person. Especially if they fall to darkness. If Sora had fallen, returning on his own is not an easy feat, but it's the feat that makes him stronger and more balanced than all other characters. If NONE of these prerequisites are met, not even one of them, Sora could never be the MoM. This is because in order for him to be prevalent to the Union Cross, he is required to exist in some form during and before his childhood. He'd be at most, seven years old, putting it generously. He could've taken a vessel or three, even Dem, to exist before his birth. But he still needs to have fallen in some way to require this underhanded tactic in order to exploit whomever comes, next. Yozora very easily could be an INTERLOPER of time, too. Saving Sora from becoming the MoM, by preventing him from ever 'falling into darkness.' In order for Sora to become the MoM, we need to know what Yozora's agenda actually IS. Is he a good guy, or a bad guy? Is his purpose to prevent the master of masters, or not? If there's another aim in mind, sadly, Yozora is not that connected to the antagonist. And that is tragic.
Instead of seeing the Master Of Masters as Sora, why not see it the other way around? Sora is The Master Of Masters or at least part of it is. ***Potential Union X spoilers below*** In Union X, we learn a lot about the Master Of Masters and his plan, Luxu, the origin of Scala ad Caelum and **MOST IMPORTANTLY** the 13 Darknesses. We know that the darkness was once part of the Master Of Masters and we know that one of them was inside Ventus. This Darkness was extracted by Xehanort in Birth By Sleep and, my oh my, Vanitas looks exactly like Sora. Okay, we can explain that Roxas, Sora's nobody, looked like Ventus because his heart was inside Sora at the time he became an heartless, but Ventus didn't even knew Sora at the time Vanitas came to life. Also, as anyone ever wondered why the "Darkside" looks a bit like Sora (also coming from his shadow in the first game). It's literal name is "Darkside" and it's one of the main boss that comes back in almost, if not every, Kingdom hearts games so I think there's something there to investigate. Furthermore, in Remind, Yozora said he was asked to "save" Sora.... and then proceed to attack him. The only time we needed to defeat someone in order to "save" him, was when we defeat someone heartless and nobody, then they are recompleted. So in what way would defeating Sora "save" him? If he's part of someone else, not a heartless and not a nobody, but something else. at least that's what I think.

Nah he’s just sora’s dad.
That would be equal parts "neat" as it would be lame

MoM is Sora from the first timeline that failed to save his friends
(They wouldn't share mannerism because if the master is an older broken Sora he would've changed, and one of the most famous lines about this series is Kairi's "Don't ever change" and it would be tragically ironic if this other version of Sora did change)
fun fact. MoM's english voice actor is the one who voiced Noctis as well. now thats a plot twist
@@michibeatz1030 wish i could work at squire enix just to laugh at prediction videos XD wait.. maybe i do :P
@@shonascott5499 I still think that's going deep into something that doesn't quite exist.
@@blastortoise Vanitas himself said in the end that both Ventus and Sora define him, that line is not there for nothing...
This remindes me of inFamous, where Kessler went back in time to stop past Cole from running from the Beast.
If Master of Masters is Sora from a different timeline, and changed it be intense.

(Implying there's a DIFFERENT VERSION of Sora in a different FUTURE timeline or reality)
Yozora claims to want to save sora from himself (implying that a FUTURE version of sora has done something bad or a grave mistake)
Yozora claims that he himself has lost his form (making a FUTURE or alternate reality version of yozora and sora different looking characters with possibly different personalities)
Now an analysis of what we know of yozora's and sora's situation
We know yozora's world is a world from another time and/or reality.
Sora: "Alone, I'm worthless".
Also Sora: *Defeats Sephiroth 1vs1 in 2 different games*.
I only think sora is master because something Nomura said remember how sora pulled kingdom key out of raiko on destiny islands Nomura said that is how the master makes keyblades he pulls them out of people's heart's but now he sounds like some apostle if light then

MoM not being Demyx would mean he could try acting buddy buddy to the protags while they feel awkward without any hidden motives
Which I would freaking love
If Sora is MoM, I can see the story take the emiya and archer kind of story from fate/stay night
My thoughts exactly
Sora could teach himself the truth without ever learning it himself. Like Future Sora tells Young Sora which is why Sora becomes the MoM that teaches Sora later in life
I think what ultimately breaks this theory is the mechanics of time travel in the kh universe. Unless I'm miss remembering the only way it would work is if the sora we play as is actually a replica brought from the past as its impossible for some one to go back to a point in time where they don't already exist.
No I think MoM is it’s own new character.
@Gabriel Gonzalez watch remind after the master of masters says his name xeahort said he never heard that name again!!!

Ask me, I think Nomura wants his Star Wars episode V moment of MoM saying ‘Sora, I am your father’
Yes I think MoM is somehow connected to Sora's family.
kinda hard to have sora be the MoM especially if they try to say tike travel cause like how can he be from a time in which he wasnt born yet or go back to a time in which he wasnt born yet, doesnt really make sense to try that route but idk i could just be thinking wrong
*Plot Twist* Nomura knowing this will be the most popular theory throws a twist the Master of Masters is a future version of Ventus
Quick question for time travel you need a body or a past version of yourself from that time so how does that explain a "future version" Sora appear back then because I doubt they had replicas back then.
That one thing is the reason I never bought into this theory.
When the Master of Masters told young Xehanort his name and it was muted i audibly said to my self “he’s Sora isn’t he?” Idk why but as a fan of the series for most of my life, that’s what popped into my head
Oh yes; Sora does have a connection with the Master Of Masters, just not the way you think.

Isn't that Yen Sid though? His name is an anagram of Disney after all.
The masters of masters is comedic similar to Sora , the wya his voice sounds literally like a older Sora too
~people also speculated sora was xehanort... people want this time travel ghero becomes bad corrupted by his own morality thing.
Thanks a lot! I would totally prefer for them both to be their own characters honestly or at least anyone but sora, but we'll see what happens.
@@ProdigyxCD Yeah I agree we already have two Soras, Vanitas and Sora himself. We don't need a third Sora.
@@ProdigyxCD Yeah, we'll just have to see what happens
(And by body language, I don't mean "standing in profile while looking slightly upward" like you had at 6:05)
I don't believe in the "Sora is MoM" theory, but it is amusing.
"You either die a hero or live long enough to be a villain "
This could be just Sora aka Master of master, would be super cool.....or could it be Riku????
It could be Riku. MoM’s eye is similar to Riku’s eyes. Could be a multiverse Riku that traveled throughout time, hence MoM’s disappearance.
@@khfan4life365 yea and the actual reason for Riku to travel throughout time ... is to save Sora from his own timeline🤯🤯🤯🤯
I've been saying this from MoM's first appearance
It's either Sora or Demyx
Sora can’t be The master of masters because he never passed his exam, lmao.
He could've had his memories altered prior to kh1
But that’s the PERFECT IRONY!
MoM is Noctis, Noctis is a Primus L'Cie and Yozora is one of his L'Cie... Yozora's Focus is to "save Sora" (his girlfriend)
MoM actually references himself as a "lost master"
Master of Masters is Sora's true Nobody.
That's an interesting theory, but the Yozora ending of KH3 kinda debunked it, since we saw Sora, Riku, Yozora, and possibly MOM in Quadratum at the same time, so Sora and MOM are different characters
I think the theory means a different timeline Sora or future Sora. Either way I can’t stand the theory.
True maybe.
Well we had Xehanort and Young Xehanort at the same time
We saw like fifty different Xehanort's at the same time, if Xemnas, Ansem, Young Xehanort and Terra-nort can all exist in the same room as old man Xehanort then I think a teenage Sora and an Adult MoM Sora could exist at the same time.
Good video. I hope the Master of Masters is his own character too. However don't be surprised if they pull another "Luxu" with him. They did the same "Xehanort isn't Xehanort" twist twice.
Yeah but both instances came from the same point, Xehanort, and different versions of himself was kinda the point.
What do you mean for the Xehanort one? I don't feel like the Xehanort "Twist" is quite the same thing.
@@Nerwrax15 Maybe, but it was still repeating the same idea that our main villain wasn't really our main villain. First Ansem and then Terra.
Now we gotta wait 10 years for the next kingdom hearts console game
I dont feel like Master of Masters is arrogant. Cocky maybe but I just see cynacism and a snarky attitude. Maybe he feels like it just isnt worth fighting and tends to mock others for their choices.
Exactly what I think...why would you be any different than that if you know what's to come and also not being able to prevent it. Anyone would become cynic and mock others
Also... What if Sora is a great great many great grandchild of MOM?
Master of Masters and Demyx have the exact same mannerisms and we know next to nothing about Demyx
The name Demyx seems to imply "Demi", as in "Demi-God". Would make sense given that MoM is supposed to be light incarnate or some such thing
But if the MoM is a future version of Sora that would mean he hasn’t picked the ability up yet, therefore it still fits.
Terra hurt him and caused the eye patch, but I really wish this theory was true.
Did riku shrink in height from kh2 to 3?..
I've never seems an Adult version of Sora
I have no doubt that the Master of Masters is someone we may know. Why go through all the trouble concealing him if that's not the case. That's my belief.
That doesn't work because Luxu was also hidden, and no one really cares.
What if Master of Masters is the Sora that could not save Kairi and his friends?
Theory, sora is the master of masters, but not in the way everyone is thinking. The master of masters isn’t a person, or being of light. It’s a position. Sora, yozora and the person currently known as the M.O.M are all technically the master of masters, because they all have a claim, either current or yet to come to the title. The master of masters we see is simply the one who holds the figurative crown now. quadradum will be his testing ground, to see who is truly his successor, whom is verum Rex?
Interesting
shame i dont have any way to record my playthroughs, my last bbs ventus one i absolutely bodied final vanitas, it wasnt even close.
So from what we've been shown in UnionX is that darkness can become an personified entity, so couldn't we say that light can do the same and is MoM?
Having Sora be the Master of Masters is like Emmett turning out to be Rex.
I hope this is true and we get to play as mom or yozora in the next game
I doubt it will happen
yozora i feel is a posibility
MoMmy is prolly not gonna happen
Can't say i'm looking forward to playing as some random dude on the internet's mom in the future.
MoM is Noctis, Noctis is a Primus L'Cie and Yozora is one of his L'Cie... Yozora's Focus is to "save Sora" (his girlfriend)
We probably play as riku in the next game really.
@@ChaniTsunami229 yeah i do not beileve sora is yosora girlfriend plus he confirmed thst yosora was not his real body.
LET THE MASTER BE HIS OWN CHARACTER. Fuck it, Chip and Dale are both the MoM.
Sora is nobody special or a special nobody like namine, but unlike her he doesn't alter memories. he alters hearts. the reaper heartless in kh3 for some reason gave me this idea. like if you view the reaper as sora, he isn't using his friends hearts but actually devouring them to gain power.
The MoM is Sephiroth.
This would be such a laugh. I read a fanfic where he was MoM. I don't think Nomura would do that, or else it'd be really complicated
I'm still convinced MoM is Lea/Axel the manurisms and personalities are just too identical and I mean Lea pulled a keyboard out of his @$$ comeonnnnn
My favorite theory I saw on UA-cam is Sora, Yozora & Master of Masters are the same person

MoM is probably just a Light Being, as there are Darkness Beings
Personally I think the Master of Masters' true identity is someone we haven't seen yet. I do think he set up the entire series just in order to train Sora to be the one to defeat darkness though
It would be interesting when both secret endings agains yozora would be true. One where Sora continues his journey throughout future kh titles and one, where he becomes the mom in the alternative timeline.
I always used to think he was sora if kairi wouldnt be saved or smth.
What if Kingdom hearts and all the adventures Sora been on is a dream 🛌
It’s all Yozora’s dream 😴
To be honest, I can see how Sora is the Master of Masters. He would obviously give himself that sort of name, but jokes aside, Master disappeared, and not in the sense of him dying but disappearing like Sora had. And with the power of waking being able to change the past with Sora's current power, it would be possible that an older and slightly battle hardened Sora could be the Master by truly turning back the clock to when the foretellers were around.
I've said that maybe the master of masters is sora from an alternate reality were he gives into the darkness.
@@eevee-wg7vm I mean, that could be the case too, but we won't know until later

If he's not a unique character...
I want it to be Riku.
He's a little more cocky than Sora, and I could see an older Riku doing all the mannerisms of MoM.
His eye color matches the "Gazing Eye" better than Sora's as well.
Ooh, I like this idea, and I can 100% get behind this
@@awesomesauce6601 Me too but I want him to be a Riku from an alternate universe🌌

Who knows.
The only way Sora could be the 'Master of Masters' comes down to these prerequisites:
- Kairi did not, in fact, manage to be rescued at some point.
Saving Sora from becoming the MoM, by preventing him from ever 'falling into darkness.'
In order for Sora to become the MoM, we need to know what Yozora's agenda actually IS.
***Potential Union X spoilers below***
In Union X, we learn a lot about the Master Of Masters and his plan, Luxu, the origin of Scala ad Caelum and **MOST IMPORTANTLY** the 13 Darknesses.
MoM=Sora Ava=Kairi this will be interesting
