Clinique is one of those brands that always fly under the radar. I only own a cheek pop blush, and a pore filling primer, but I really need to try out some foundations from them.

I applied this foundation with my fingers, and it looks awesome. I have dry skin and I find that blending it into my skin with fingers hydrates my skin and makes it look more natural.

I agree with your review 100%! Subscribers have asked me which I prefer, and I describe the Even Better Glow as best for an everyday foundation, and the Even Better Refresh as a good glam foundation as it has just a bit more coverage. Your reviews are the best!! ☺️❤️

I dont powder ever, because my skin is dry, i haven't found a powder that doesn't cake on me ...although I bought Cosrx centella mineral powder, which is really light and finely milled and so I do sometimes use a little bit of that ...but honestly when im done I just use a setting spray. .basically need to keep the skin hydrated and locked in. My newest technique is adding a drop of facial oil to my beauty blender and then blending my foundation out ..that really seems to help with dryness, OR I will use smashbox priming water in between steps.

I think that maybe the shade range isn't so wide if this is a product for sensitive skin. In Finland the most of people has very sensitive, dry skin with atopic dermatitis and Clinique foundation is popular when it comes to this. I guess people with darker skin tone are way more free from allergies, at least in Finland. :) gotta say you have beautiful skin and great video, helped me a lot with deciding whether purchase one or not :D (that was a YES)

You look beautiful in this foundation (but what don’t you look good in, right? Lol.) That Bottom Lash mascara is no joke - I’ve been wearing it for years. Some people complain that it’s hard to remove, but you just have to use really warm water and just hold the washcloth over your lashes for 30-60 seconds and then it comes off. Great video!

I'm 26 but I suffer from eczema and it's been through the works 😂 I was diagnosed last year with ovarian cancer and thankfully I'm healthy noe but my skin took the downfall with dry, scaly and wrinkly skin 😭 your channel is very informative and I love it! I have a list in the description box of all my go to FAV foundations of all time, but I would say recently, my FAVORITE is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra wear Nude foundation. It's soooo freaking pretty. Lol.

Normal skin types aren’t out of luck, Clinique just doesn’t use that exact word to describe or categorize skin type. They just rephrase it as Dry/combination.

So I need your opinion. As you know I picked up the even better glow and I do like it but I feel like I just need a little bit more coverage I wish it was a little bit more.
So now I don’t know if I should exchange it for this one the even better refresh like are you still liking this one and if you had to pick one which one would you pick at this point? I’ll be in a mall today so I don’t know what to do whether to switch it out or not I mean I love the glow but it’s like to me it seems like a tinted moisturizer this one seems like more coverage but a lot of people have been saying this feels tacky is that true?
You get more coverage, but it's definitely tacky all day. Not super tacky, but it feels tacky even after using a little bit of powder.. I really like the Refresh and I prefer it over the even better glow because of the coverage. But, the tacky feeling is a issue. 🤔 Maybe try the original version..

I don’t mind if it’s a little tacky I just didn’t want to feel like really sticky and I do use the their stay matte setting powder. Decisions decisions lol

They both look SO shiny! Esp the Glow, which emphasizes fine lines...
I wanted to try the new one or maybe even the other but the shine is putting me Off..
I did use the Airbrush Flawless finish powder from Charlotte Tilbury, but they both have a dewy glow to them.. maybe the original version may work best for you. I recommend getting samples of them all and try them out before buying❤❤❤❤

I'm curious, do you use sunscreen under your foundations? I just bought this and am wondering how it will do. I find foundations react differently when applied over sunscreen... And sunscreen is a MUST for me! :) Love your reviews!
Hey sweets. I actually use the Dermalogica Age Defense Moisturizer with SPF 50. It works so well. My FAVORITE sunscreen, and doesn't break me out. But, I apply my moisturizer about 30min prior to applying my foundation. Seems like if I apply any sooner, it will affect my application. But I wear it EVERY day. When I used to drive my kids to school, I wouldn't leave the house without applying sunscreen. 🤪❤ Hope that helps💋

I just turned 50 this year and did not use it for most of my life, but hey, it's never too late to start!! I was also busy raising 4 kids so I was the last on my priority list :) (luckily I'm told i look like I'm in my thirties!). Thanks for such great reviews!! I'm really enjoying them :)

The hydrating foundation lasts a pretty long time. Its not a full 12 hours, but a good 10. It's a nice formula ❤❤
I like Clinique but the shades are frustrating . They seem to run so pink and they always match me to pinky shades. Then when I find the right tone it is to light. I have never had a perfect match otherwise I love the formulas.

I don’t like the refresh. I find it much drier looking.
The new foundation looks better on you. The shade looks better, but the slight dewy was better. The old foundation made you look older, too yellow and you don’t look dewy, you look super oily. Sorry, the new looks better.
