- In 1922, Greece lost to Turkey in the Second Greco-Turkish War. Because of this, the dream of implementing the Megali idea never came true, and the Greek presence in Asia Minor was completely erased. In this video on alternative history, I will tell you how Greece was able to win this war and what it led to. Greater Greece in Hearts of Iron IV.

The Entente really trolled Greece there. They told it to join the Great War to help them against Turkey, but then left Greece to fight on its own against Turkey and even supported Turkey.
France and England in the south, Armenia and Georgians in the east, traitors on the home front, and finally an allied puppet state in the west. You are doing your best to humiliate the victory of the Turks.

Yes there was the Greco-Turkish war of 1897 were Greece was defeated and forced to pay huge war reparations (Something like 100 million Drachmas)

As you can see, Greece still has Alexander I Glücksburg, that means he never got bit by a monkey with rabies or he did and got treatment before it was too late, and Eleftherios Venizelos is still the prime-minister, which means Greece technically had Entante support or atleast the Entante didn't support Turkey like they did IRL. IRL they stopped supporting Greece since Alexander died and Constantine I came back, and with elections being held at 1920 and the loss of the Liberal Party(Venizelists) to the Populist Party(Monarchists) that was the final drop that overfilled the cup, and that made the Entante withdrawl their support at the maximum.
Also, the deal was, a Kurdistan puppet for France, and a Ponto-Armenian Commonwealth that would most likely be either a British Puppet if no Independent, and Greece was promised North Epirus if they won too.

This is from a Greek perspective, obviously they would try to shame Ataturk.
First of all this is a fictional alternate history scenario so the actions here are not the same as in real life. Second of all someone can say nice things and still commit war crimes America does it all the time. Also not everyone commits war crimes all the time that’s why they’re considered crimes bc the world condemns them and anyone who does them should be punished no matter where they’re from
