Total crap, you have no idea. The jockey(George Baker) is unusually tall for a jockey at over six feet and Cotai Glory , the horse concerned jinked suddenly. Agreed I backed Cotai Glory that day at Doncaster and I had no issue other than feeling very unlucky. Far too many idiots think it's amusing to come of a sprinter at around 40mph. George Baker is exceptionally tall at over 6 feet and always ride pretty short. Once his weight was not going the same direction as the horse he had zero chance of staying on. I'm sick of the clowns that like to make accusations from a pisition of total ignorance.
This was just a freak thing that happens. No jockey would ever fall off horse on purpose. That would be stupid. It is so dangerous to just ride a racehorse, he us not going to risk getting run over by horses behind him. Anyone who thinks differently is a complete moron in life.
Gotta watch the United States race held on 12/28/17. It's the final race of the day, race 10 at Gulfstream Park, and one person is holding the possible winning ticket of a special bet called "The Rainbow Pick Six". With this bet, you not only have to pick 6 winners in a row, but you also have to be the only one with that particular ticket in order to take down the whole pool of money. If there are multiple winners on that day, the winners get a small portion of the money paid out to them, but the majority of the money gets rolled over into the next betting day, so as you can imagine, rarely is there ever one winner. Amazingly on this day, someone had a chance to win $571,000, but the #9 horse has to win the race, will he? In response to your title - - I suspect this person has "already" given up punting :-)
oh, I didn't have the ticket...some other poor bloke did! I'd of jumped off a bridge by now :-) love the videos though, I think it's how most of us feel (love and hate).
I agree with you, Jaramillo is an excellent jockey, it's just amazing how unlucky the poor bettor/handicapper holding the ticket must've felt, and Jaramillo was probably thinking it's an easy win and didn't expect the sudden jump the horse made. The U.K. race is pretty disgusting, I like the way the jockey rolls a few more times after he falls off, especially the last one "roll" with the legs sticking straight-up in the air- - even the guys in the NBA can't fake a foul this good! :-)
What, you mean the saddle on his horse slipped and just like this jockey here that through no fault of his own, he lost his balance and could not stay on? Joe Mercer became Henry Cecil's stable jockey in 1977. His brother Manny Mercer was killed in 1959 when a horse threw him before the start of a race at Ascot and he died due to fatally being kicked in the head as he fell to the ground.
Its all controlled by the ellites...Horses are controlled by the jokeys the horses arnt running too win a race aminsgt other horses there being forced too runn and controlled by the jokey.Therefor it all has too be staged its a show, a fix,a scam..Its always been the same.

Sorry you know nothing about horse racing. I backed that horse that day at Doncaster and let me explain there was nothing underhand about it. George Baker the jockey is unusually tall for a flat jockey at over 6 feet. Cotai Glory, the horse concerned jinked (although talented sprinter he's known to be temperamental) and if you are aware how short flat jockeys ride in terms if stirrups then you would know that a 6 foot plus jockey riding that short has no chance whatsoever of stying on once his weight was going laterally to the horse at that speed. As I said I backed him that day so if anyone should be pissed it's me but no one that knows the sport had an issue with this incident and there was no controversy at the time. Please before you make accusations at least know what you're talking about.

Yes. Happens all the time

"Har-har!"
My mom used to say hardy har-har but this one beats it all. Mom agrees.
The jockey eased himself out of the saddle and stepped off. Cheat.
Total crap, you have no idea. The jockey(George Baker) is unusually tall for a jockey at over six feet and Cotai Glory , the horse concerned jinked suddenly. As flat jockeys in particular ride very short in the stirrup George had no chance once his ballance had gone to far across the horse. If anyone should be seriously pissed it's me as I backed that horse and it cost me a fair bit of money.

Reminds me of my bet.. I had three winners. all the money going on to the last one..he drew away in the final furlong . Foot went in a divot.. jockey fell off ...end of..lol..
I always taught that jockeys wouldn’t throw themselves off a horse travelling at speed but this is proof that it happens😅 he clearly just jumped off and did his best not to do himself an injury but ruby’s fall on Annie power is still debated and I still can’t see a jockey getting a horse to hit a fence or hurdle in order for it to fall, as the horses legs are brittle and mostly a death sentence if they break. But jumping from the horse after the fence or jumping off at a different point of the race happens a lot.
he jumped off because he couldnt control the horse and he thought the horse was going for the outside fence.
The jockey wanted to be a stuntman.
Anyone who has had a flutter knows it's a fix up.
I used to love the challenge, be careful with your money and understand , not every horse is "trying"
Was there an ejector seat in the saddle or did the jockey have springs in his boots 😂😂
Stop it Paul, you'll give me a bloody hernia!😂😂❤

John Wayne would have stayed on that
If he was on it, it would have been 2 furlongs behind carrying 140 lbs more than the other horses.
Saddle Slipped..look at the number cloth..right on the horse's back end..
That's exactly what's happened there mate though to the untrained eye it does look very suspicious
Saddle slipping is a common way to fix a race. The jock doesn't usually jump off, though.
@@JoeKoOhNo You haven't a clue. Do you realise how dangerous it is with a loose girth at that kind of speed. Cotai Glory was a sprinter.
No one in their right mind would cheat that way so ease stick to what you know about.

I've been around horses for over 50 years and on courses for as long. Either way I was at Doncaster when this race took place and I know Mr Hills had Cottai Glory there to win so carry on if you wish but you are only going to make yourself look even more foolish. Why people feel abliged to insist they are right and that no one else could possibly be more informed than them is a mystery to me but please try and defend your point if you wish.
His saddle looked like it was slipping....and the horse jinked...
I knew that one would win it.
This has actually happened to me more than once and I still bet horses like a degenerate
LMAO. Me too.
The only surprise here is that I didn't have money on it.
Havent seen that since the actual day it happened. Had £40 on thst horse at 13/2. Was counting my money £300 to be precise. Will never forget that as long as i live. Jockey was Gearge baker. A very decent underrated jockey who last year had to retire due to a serious injury. And no he didn't do it deliberately, the horse jinked to his right very suddenly and he lost his balance. Shit happens.
It fucking did for me that day.🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
This reminds me of a jump race I put wilde Ruby on horse cleared last fence 20 lengths clear and jockey jumped of b4 finishing line I remember the bookies table getting a good kicking that day 😡😡😡
NOTHING he ever did would outdo the fuckery he done on Annie power!
Thousands of "bet of a lifetime" were riding on that horse....including mine!😢
even i would of got that fooka home .
Life's losers will make far more of this than it is - all of them experts in riding 1/2 ton of a thinking beast.
Looks like he got carried away.. I've heard the expression 'riding the horses neck' but he was more or less on the horse's head before he falls
I remember this if saddle broke may b but not in this case
No it just slipped around rather than broke.
This was just a freak thing that happens. No jockey would ever fall off horse on purpose. That would be stupid. It is so dangerous to just ride a racehorse, he us not going to risk getting run over by horses behind him.
Anyone who thinks differently is a complete moron in life.
My god the horses look more fixed than any slot machine....ffs man
Gotta watch the United States race held on 12/28/17.
Good Knowledge Sorry mate, I can imagine what you're going through..
oh, I didn't have the ticket...some other poor bloke did! I'd of jumped off a bridge by now :-) love the videos though, I think it's how most of us feel (love and hate).
I remember that incident. Didn't look as obvious as jockey Baker stiffing the betting public.
Cocky jockey!
Many years ago Joe Mercer when he was riding for Henry Cecil done something simlar at Redcar racecourse.
Sir Henry would not have known about that man.
Accident? not hardly. . That jockey deliberately unseated himself..watch his legs.. Even Stevie Wonder could see that!
......This hasn't really made me give up punting.....??
....My entire betting career has made me give up punting....!!
I hope he got well paid for blatantly throwing the race.
Saddle slipped. The saddle was slipping for half a furlong hence the horse drifting to near side.
I gave up punting years ago. I've never had so much money in my wallet.
You could make it twice as thick at evens 1\1!
Its all controlled by the ellites...Horses are controlled by the jokeys the horses arnt running too win a race aminsgt other horses there being forced too runn and controlled by the jokey.Therefor it all has too be staged its a show, a fix,a scam..Its always been the same.

Bad punter were you !!!!
@@coffeeman199 I had some good days, but the bad days beat them by about 3 to 1.
You might notice in these home straight dives off short-priced favorites that they always get to the outside of the track to do their side saddle dramatics, in order to render themselves safe from oncoming runners. The little turds.
At least the horse is okay.
If it was the favourite I wouldn’t had money on it anyway.
Is this what is known as a post- mortem.
It's normal in Australia, it happens all the time no one gets prosecuted it's always the punters who lose they will do anything to rip off the punter here, I'm sure it happens in other countries
You talk shit

@@gm3043 Absolutely not all racing is on the level but there are far better ways of getting a horse beaten that are not so ridiculously obvious. It really isn't that hard and in reality nobody in their right mind cheats in this way.
You just don't wait for a high profile race with loads of media attention, let your horse go a few lengths clear into an unbeatable position and get the jockey to jump off at 40 mph inside the last half furlong. I'm a bit frustrated that all these "experts" commenting on here, one of which told me he'd forgotten more than I'll ever know are arguing til they're blue in the face that I'm a niaeve fool and that it was a fix.
