I'm Brazilian and I've been a fan of the band Earth, Wind & Fire since 1983. In 1984, I crossed the entire Amazon rainforest singing the song “Fall In Love With Me”. The band Earth, Wind & Fire has a huge positive energy and their songs are super pleasant to our ears. For me, the band Earth, Wind & Fire is the best musical band of all time. Earth, Wind & Fire: UNIQUE AMAZING!

Yeah! I always wondered about that. His voice sounds like Earth while Philip sounds like Wind, and then the fire was the horn section! Then again wind could have been the string orchestrations and Philip could have been Fire. But sometimes those horns sound super spicy like on Serpentine Fire!

In contrast to other bands, EWF's vocals and falsetto are powerful and full and also they harmonize like a choir. Bee Gees and Queen are similar but EWF is on another level.

I would’ve loved to have seen them live with Maurice White. I’m sorry I never did. I’ve seen them multiple times but all after he stopped and then passed. Truly a legend. Philip does both roles mostly but the magic is truly with them both singing.

This song was getting a good amount of air play on reruns of Casey Kasem's American Top 40 over the last several years. One of the EWF songs that needs way more air play on r & b/funk/soul stations aside from the usual batch of hits.

I was about 9 years old when I first heard this song and saw this video clip. Back in the day, Casey Kasem also did a half-hour TV show called American Top 10, and he would play videos from Top 10 Billboard charts, including R&B Top 10. Those Saturday afternoons and the music from that time definitely left an impression on me so much so that I still remember some of those video clips even if they were on for just 10 seconds.

I have to say EWF and the Isley's dominated the 70's for R&B. These two groups music was everywhere once the white clubs. There were other groups ie Ojays etc but those two, at least until Disco was into full swing in '77.
