My best friend is putting a routine together for the song Tree on the Hill. Thank you for giving her ideas for which drops to use. She's been in silks since she was 12 (we're 16) but thanks
EminentHealer I am a left climber to but I can do a shooting star it just takes a little practice search up a half shooting knee drop that will help you
This is my second semester (idk what to call it) at aerial skills classes (except this time it's more broad and does other gymnastics stuff because I'm in the homeschooling sampler whereas last time I was in the one that focused on aerial skills and trampoline) and I just learned how to do the 360 variation 😁 I want to learn more but we only have 15 mins of aerial skills 😭 (next time I'm definitely going back to the aerial skills and trampoline course)
You really shouldn't be doing kamikaze. It's one of the most dangerous drops in aerials and professional, safe teachers will not teach it and many professional and experienced aerialists refuse to do it. Be careful and happy flying!
Provided you do a double-wrap at the back, the drop is as safe as any other. Also holding the tails forward (toward the side wall), rather than down (toward the floor) increases safety.
Saw this video years ago and found it ago today and omg i still love it so much haha (now i'm actually doing aerial, not just wishing i'll do it one day, yay, anyway!) Could you tell me the name of the song? Love it so much! 😍
You do one French wrap and then another French wrap on top of that and that another French wrap underneath with with your original foot. Then you stick your feet out like a penguin and then you leg go of your alarms
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Doggie it’s like a dance class but using silks, and it’s called dancing aerial. just search it up on google maps around you, to try a dance class! trust me it’s worth it 🤩
those drops are usually advanced drops. You shouldn't be doing them if you are a beginner and haven't learned moves that aren't drops, I've taken classes for 7 years.
Thanks for this video. I've been doing silks for about two months and I cannot wait until I am strong enough to do drops and put together a routine.
Oh my God, that double star drop was amazingly beautiful!

What's the drop called at 5:30 ?
Leen Cammaerts shouting star
Double star
The shooting star drop was a shooting knee drop
EllaBellaLy also known as double star drop with sit-up and full knee drop
I’ve done that at my dance
