The Weber Bilt app is awesome, install it then put in your model of grill and it is a 3d demonstration on how to put it together and it did not take me 20 minutes to do it right in my living room, all you need is a Philips screwdriver, and a small hammer to pop the fasteners of the grill on, it comes with a small wrench to put the nuts on the lid holder.
You can leave them to burn out especially if it will be a long time to your next BBQ. But I think that it is better to close off both the top and bottom vents to try and starve and be put out the charcoal. That way there will be some charcoal left in the grill for the next time. Doesn't always work but it is worth trying. No matter what - don't throw hot coals in the garbage!!!
The instructions are terrible. I had to take emery paper to the leg and use some WD 40 to get it in the base. The two holes in the leg are very confusing. Weber should mark the legs left and right. Other then that it when together easy

Good to hear that Weber continues to improve the assembly process!
Good job I appreciate you
Thanks for the kind words!
Do you just let to charcoal go until it burns out?

Agreed - Definitely some room for improvement. It is nice to use though - hope you enjoy your new grill!
