I'm going to buy 1 of these kettles. I've been a mechanic all my life but after spending a year in the hospital with covid I can't work anymore and I get aggravated easily. After watching you do this and since I still do have some trouble, I can almost assure you I'll have a much easier time and a better day. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Un-Edited, mistakes happen, I’d rather see this than perfection; just like every cook, you learn as you go. 20 years cooking on Weber and I still am learning Great job!
Huge thanks! Literally watched this and went and bought this grill. You video helped me assemble the entire grill in 20 minutes without looking at the manual. I’ve had many grills and smokers thru the years. Back to basics.
Hi James, I just put together this exact kettle I picked up from ACE Hardware tonight. I appreciated your video a lot because it's far more helpful than the instructions provided. Thank you!
Your very welcome. It's my favorite grill to use very versatile and tons of accessories. Cheers to a good summer and great meal with family and friends.
No problem man. Just watch the legs myself and a few folks got hung up on installing them. Cheers to a good summer of grilled meals for you and your family.
Thanks man, u had to order the blue took forever to get to me. Lol now I see the blues in store all over. The mastertouch has been more than good to me. It's versatile and fun to use
Thanks for the video. Bought a house last year and I’m finally getting a grill and wanted to be familiar with the assembly. Thanks for making everything so clear and easy!
I assembled my Master Touch in North Yorkshire, England, yesterday. Same as your except I think the wheels are slightly different (mine has "R" shaped retaining clips to insert/attach before putting the wheel hubcaps on) and no warming rack. All ready to go for an initial burn this weekend before cooking for real. Can't wait as it replaces a cheap and cheerful version which has been cobbled together for indirect cooking but has served me well for 15 months of Covid Lockdown so far. But the longer burns for smoking, as a result of the size of the Master Touch and it's better ability to regulate throughput of air, will be very welcome. Built with decent heavy gauge metal, especially the grids. Bring on the good weather - though, to be fair even with the cobbled-together old version I have been using, I've been known to BBQ at Christmas/New Year with ice all around! Thanks for the video, which I watched even though mine is now gleaming downstairs after assembly and ready to commission.....
Great video man! I literally just bought this exact same model and color today. Thank you very much I’m going to use this video when I assemble it tomorrow lol Thanks again!
Most definitely I do it all the time. Check out some of the vids and you can see the cool ways I use it. To be honest I use this as a smoker even more often then my actual smokers lol
I just put mine together, that little plastc wrench was a pain, ended up grabbing a box end wrench. Also had two black coated metal things that the picture in my assembly book says they go between the charcoal grate an the top grill grate. I have no idea what purpose those server and the book says nothing about them.
We just assembled our NEW Deep Ocean Blue Master-Touch! I have a question... There is an extra hole on the lid holder... do you have any idea what it is for?
Awesome you guys are going to love it. In regards to the extra hole I am not sure what its for. Time stand 9:45 starts my full assembly of the lid I hope that helps.
Is the nut and bolt in the video at 14:32 supposed the sit flush against the inside of the grill? I can’t seem to get it tight enough and doesn’t seem right. I even tried using the other two nuts and they won’t screw down as well.
Great video bro,one question ,I noticed when you were installing the lid holder you were having little trouble at the bottom screw ,I bought mine grill today and your video helped me a lot and I got stuck too at that part ,so my question is ,if that part is supposed to be little loose ?
@@BackyardSmoke614 I placed an ordered in mid-Aug and it won't go into production until late Oct-2020 sigh. Good thing his birthday isn't until early Dec but still.
Thanks for the vid! Set mine up today. Does the removable center grate sit slightly deeper? Mines not completely flush with the the outside grate so there’s a lip.
Looking to pick up a weber mastertouch soon but don't want it shipped to home since I always get damaged big items. Do you think it'd fit in a car or is the box to big?
My Anniversary Master Touch had such shitty screws that it was impossible to screw them for lid catcher. And the regulation vent on the lid is 0,5 cm above the lid on one side, possibly because holes were made too far from the handle on the rounded part if lid. Unfortunatelly Weber´s customer service here in EU is very bad, so I lost my money and have no grill. Webers are great until you get wrong piece, in that case your money is lost :(
Totally...I coudn´t move them even one milimeter - possibly over-galvanized. And their customer support is silent about that. Not talking about shitty vent on the lid, which makes a gap, that air can flow out even when fully closed. Lost my money and have no grill at all.

This is just an old-school "how to" video that I miss about the old You Tube. Great job!
Thanks man glad you enjoyed. I try to keep it simple.

No Problem sir, glad I was able to help.
Really enjoyed that.
Thank You
Well Done Video.
This is such a useful video...thank you so much. Can you use this grill as a smoker (indirect and longer cooking)?
Most definitely I do it all the time. Check out some of the vids and you can see the cool ways I use it. To be honest I use this as a smoker even more often then my actual smokers lol
Still cooking? Still enjoying? This video was awesome man

Are the legs difficult to install? I am a bit of a klutz and I will be installing it by myself. I'm not that strong.
Legs can be a bit tricky. Put some lube on and they will slide in easier
You mentioned no hammer, Is the rubber mallet to keep possible thiefs away? 😅
Great video bro,one question ,I noticed when you were installing the lid holder you were having little trouble at the bottom screw ,I bought mine grill today and your video helped me a lot and I got stuck too at that part ,so my question is ,if that part is supposed to be little loose ?
Thanks for watching, it should be tight, Just be careful not to over tighten it and crack the porcelain enamel
Ordere one for my brother in Deep Blue but Weber not at full production sigh. Nice video 📹 👍
Thanks glad you were able to get one. Took 3 weeks for mine to come in when I ordered it.
Your brother will enjoy it.

It should fit flush. To the main grate.
Looking to pick up a weber mastertouch soon but don't want it shipped to home since I always get damaged big items. Do you think it'd fit in a car or is the box to big?
I would say car maybe SUV yes. I would also say mine was shipped and Weber did a great job packaging.
So it doesn’t come assembled 😢
Nope

Great video brother! Thank you!
No problem fam thanks for watching
Awesome video sir....I love getting/putting together a new weber. What was the first thing you cooked on it?
Thanks man, I believe it was Country style ribs. This have become my favorite pit next to my Weber Smokey Mountain.
