Everyone think Metaverse is overhyped and already flop, They don’t realize we are approaching to the Metaverse idea faster than last years

i like the augmented reality with lightweight VR or VR glasses similar things that would be about half or 1/3 the size and weight of current oculus quest battery pack on pants or cable connected would be no problem for me most annoying is weight and comfylevel, price and graphis. But most imporantly and crutially its nothing without massively powerful LLM's/A.I: JARVIS like AI with longterm memory or really really useful would also be great. But ja cooking help so i can turn off my brain and still get super tasty food souds ok. Also making love + VR sounds great

The AI work coming out of Meta is amazing. It's too bad the company is the number one driving force for the destruction of modern society in the U.S. The world would literally be a much better place if Facebook never existed. The AI team members should realize this and takes their talents to a company which deserves them.
Can you give an example of such company where they can go?
Thats not true, both facebook and instagram enable me to stay in touch with friends and extended family. Both of them enable small businesses to do targeted ads and get customers. If facebook or insta didn't exist then something else similar to them would exist and you would say the same thing about them.
You’re wrong Russell. Meta will be a force to reckon with for decades to come!
