*Just got my FPV, I am a "Beginner" in the drone world. I did fly a Gas Powered Heli back in the day (2004) and I recently had a DJI Phantom Pro, I must say this was the best tutorial by far I am sure others also did a great Job, but this made it all so simple!*

Even though I don’t own the DJI FPV DRONE (I do own the DJI FPV GOGGLES and DJI REMOTE CONTROLLER with a CADDX VISTA FPV AIR UNIT ) your video helped me to appreciate the many features of this phenomenal system ! Good information. I have never worn the goggles, I had one hell of a time getting into Manual mode without wearing goggles because you have to move the left stick down to a certain point and keep it there for a second for manual to engage, after you put the mode switch in "M" mode. I think I will have to wear them soon and remember that I don't have negative pitch to save me like on a collective pitch helicopter or quad.

Hi Billy -- FYI, there IS a Map for the "Find My Drone" in the DJI Fly App - tucked under the PROFILE menu option on the main screen. A map shows the location of where your drone landed AND allows you to command the drone to start Beeping & Flashing!
I found this after crashing my drone the other day when I failed to remove the Gimbal cover -- learning through failure is a great lesson!!

So that was me that was at the school when you, Ken, and Sean showed up down the road from the Sebastian Fpv meet, I got some pretty good stuff of today when we all were flying I’m editing and going over it now I’ll tag y’all in it when I post it I got some pretty good shots of our drones zipping around

The rates used are very unconventional because we normally dial down the center sensitivity to have smoother control around center stick - I recall the stock rate is 160. Max rate are typically in the range of 300-800. Does it loose the agility with max rate 60? Say, when you need to quickly avoid a obstacle does it turn fast enough?

Fantastic review Billy. I noticed that my options are on and editable when connected at home. But when I’m out in the field they are greyed out and I cannot change them in the goggle. Any idea why mate? Cheers.
Thanks for the video Billy. I've watched it more than once. I just bought one of these and am learning FPV. Going to be doing a lot of simulator time before I'm ready for manual mode. I've been thru the settings pretty thoroughly and can't find the power settings for increasing transmit power. I also can't find out how to display the bitrate or latency onscreen. Could you post a link to a video that would help ignorant people such as myself?

Hey Billy I did mention to you in one of your other videos that it was someone that was able to see the map on his phone that he had attached to the goggles with the OTG cable also he was able to see when his aircraft in the area he could look on his phone and see the aircraft I’m not sure if this is true but he did see it and show it on the UA-cam video maybe you’ll check this out thanks for all your work putting these videos together

Well done Billy, quick question, when flying at manual mode and for some reason you hit brakes, the mode returns to Normal and hovers, say if you wanted to go back into Manual mode, is there a faster way of getting back into Manual mode without going thru the green cursor alignment of your sticks? I would like to see this drone doing touch and go. Thanks. appreciate your reply.

Great info on the setup of the FPV Combo. With the left stick on your controller, I notice that you took the center stick out so that you can fly in manual.
with the stick like that, can you still fly in normal and sports mode without any problems?
Yes, but you must control the throttle (left stick) manually. Everything else in those modes works the same.
