Many of you may know him for his work in Snarky Puppy, but this young Canadian drummer has played with an endless list of great figures from jazz to rock. Larnell was formed at the gospel school and his mastery of technique has led him to be a very requested drummer for live shows and recordings. In addition to this, Larnell is a reputated compositor, producer and educator. We sure that we are going to spend a memorable time with this drummer in our fest!

I have been playing drums for exactly 50 years now (was 13 when I started, I am now 63), I studied primarily Jazz, Latin and Rock, having said that; 77 people gave thumbs down to this incredible drumming performance, I can't help but think that these 77 folks have to be extraterrestrial Phd drummers born with 3 hands and 3 feet straight from either Mars or Pluto.
I think that the reason for these thumbs down is the realization of the inability to play like that, and as a result, the desire to leave the profession.

I've always been lucky to have that reaction instead, but it frustrates me to see so many friends who haven't built up confidence or skills give up before trying instead of seeing the sky is the limit if you give it your all. They see larnell, his final form, never thinking about the decades of honing...Sure he has an insane talent, but he also honed that talent. People, find your talent and hone it, then you won't have issues with confidence and little man syndrome, even if you are a little fish in a huge pond...Because you're doing the best you!

@@carlrest6553 I was genuinely curious to see what Carl Palmer could do and although he is very fast and skilled, I couldn't find anything as musically impressive as for example 16:29 to 16:36 so for my taste at least Larnell remains the best I've heard. But I love music more than anything else so if you have got another name or maybe an specific video please link it so that I can enjoy it
