I can’t believe they are discontinuing the Le Pliage Neo! They are just so, so good, especially for travel or rainy days! I have so many, I was a total Longchamp lover before I discovered LV! I have multiple sizes with the long handle, all sizes with the short handles and crossbody strap, in so many colors I can’t even list! They are so lightweight and wear well. Guess I won’t ever be getting rid of them! And thanks for the reminder, my small crossbody black one needs the corners repaired.

In the last 2 weeks I have purchased 3 Longchamp bags - Small Gunmetal with brown handles (Nordstrom Rack), Neo medium with crossbody strap for travel with short handles (RueLaLa) and the Black small Neo (Bloomingdales). Love them!
Purchased the large top handle neo (with strap) in navy today, directly from a Longchamp store in Washington DC. They still have some in stock, although they aren’t online anymore. So excited to use it! I think it’ll be perfect for school and travel. I believe you can order over the phone and have it shipped to you, in case anyone is still trying. 😊
I just only discovered Longchamp only to find out that the best bag (Le Pliage neo) in my opinion has been discontinued. I am minimalist and I love the monochromatic looks of the bags. I am not fan of contrasting detailing or logos on the body of the bag. The only option which could suit my needs seems to be the city version but it is a bit too stiff and heavier. I searched the internet and can't find any small neos. I am so disappointed. How could they discontinue such a lovely bag. Love your video tho :)

I can’t believe it when I saw your video caption. I bought the Neo XS, a mini bag, just a few months ago (Oct 2021) in Germany. I thought that seemed to be quite a newly released piece then. I love the Neo line because of the leather texture, the zippers and the color range. I’m really surprised that they are discontinuing the whole Neo line altogether when it’s so popular. I’ve been a fan of Longchamp for a while now, my first purchase was 11 years ago in London Harrods when I was in my late-teens..I still remember that day like it was yesterday.
I have the Longchamp in black mine is over 7 years old I wore it tons when I was traveling mine is made in France. I can fit my jumbo & my WOC, Lv makeup pouch comfortably, and i love it!
Besides LV, Longchamp is my other favorite brand. I own 13 bags, and feel that the quality is amazing for the price! Wish they would not discontinue the Neo because of the thick silky nylon and chunky zipper. Thanks for discussing!! ♥️
I love my Neo in the large navy, it’s the perfect travel bag! I also like the material better because it doesn’t get as wrinkled. I just bought the XS in navy because I didn’t want to miss out on it, and now I’m thinking of getting the small black one too 😂 I’m gonna have to look into the city version too. Thanks for sharing!
I agree, the nylon quality on the Neo is great. Btw, see the comment below about the city version. Someone said it’s quite thick - even thicker than the LV neverfull.

Thank you for the “heads up” on the Longchamp discontinuing the “Neo Line” . I got online with Saks Fifth and pick up a medium black top handle cross body… and Bloomingdale’s for a large Blue tote. For summer. I had a medium top handle Neo crossbody that I gave to my sister (lol.. huge regret) so I replaced it today. Love love the Neo Line sad Longchamp is letting it end. But who knows maybe it will come back later…. Or be improved somehow…. But can you really improve on a great great bag! Again thanks for the info!!!
I’ve had my Neo for a decade but it has the older style pockets and zipper!!! It still looks new! Purchased in NYC lol. I so wish we met sooner. Can you imagine?! 🤣. Well now I want the updated version ugh lol 👯♀️ 💓💓

I have a blue Neo and a Pink club like yours didn't notice it was a difference till you mention it. Yes these bags are truly workhorse bags. It is true they do repair their bags, I have taking in my purple original version to repair.
I have the Neo in XS and it’s one of my favorite everyday bag. That’s too bad they are discontinued 😮 I love longchamp. I used the totes for work and everyday in my 20’s and for the price you can’t ask for anything better.
Great video! I am headed out on a business trip soon and have the longchamp (folded in my suitcase to use at the conference) , mini pochette and the lulu bag for the airport and running around. I used the lulu bag on a recent trip and never touch my other bags I took. Like you not a belt bag kinda gal but best $40 I’ve spent. Thanks for all of the recommendations!! Also bringing my dior lip glow as my all in one lippie. I think if we’d accidentally switched bags, we’d be okay 😆. One tip I live by now for toiletries is to use contact cases for lotions and other creams. For example I can get a weeks worth of face wash, heat protector, and moisturizer in three contact cases and they don’t leak. I didn’t believe it but my husband and I both use that technique now!
I bought a large black Longchamp bag on Poshmark and I was concerned it wasn’t real because it has this square shaped chunky zipper and no foldable snap. After watching your video, I know I have an authentic bag now!😊.

Aww how exciting!! I personally love the small size and I find it’s VERY roomy, but with a baby on the way, the large size might work better. It’ll fit diapers, burp clothes, bottles… you name it!! I really do not know why my Le Pliage Tote original in small the quality is not as good as your pink one. The handle for mine, the other part where the glazing is not glaze at all. I thought that is supposed to be like that but now that i am watching your video, i saw the white glazing. Oh no....i did not check their other color since i got this during the sale during Christmas last year and is the last piece. In fact not all the colors are on sale during that time. Huh..bumped...will have to go in and check if they can do anything with it. Now seeing my travel size one, it is not supposed to be not glaze or very very lightly glaze. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this video. Went to Bloomie’s in person and snagged the NEO tote, but Large, Navy. Compared it to the club & green and the quality is much better.
I'm still using a planetes (yes the earliest and thickest) and wonder if i were to replace it one day is the neo or club more similar to planetes in terms of texture?
I have a few Longchamp totes mainly the small with long handle. I also have the neo in the x-small crossbody which I really love. Interestingly my totes are made in either Tunisia, China (Club) and one in France.

I have the older version of the Roseau leather tote and it’s such a good bag. Leather is very durable. I used it every day. It can be worn inside out showing the other color, so it’s like owning two bags. This version has been discontinued and the newer ones I don’t think are as good. Don’t know why longchamp keeps discontinuing their good products. Looking forward to your next video regarding the big tote of your choice.

I have found the last remaining neo in my country , but its the top handle with crossbody strap would love your opinion on it before I pull the trigger lol
Hi! I understand what you mean as there is a distinctly different look and feel between leather vs nylon. It’s hard to compare the two. This nylon on the neo is really nice though and the leather trim adds a nice touch. 👌 But I really love this tote version with long shoulder straps as it’s so easy to just grab and go. I used to have the original Le Pliage (not neo version) and that one had the shorter top handles and I didn’t like it so I let it go. If you’re talking about the xs version that has the top handles and crossbody strap, that one I’ve heard really great reviews for. But the other sizes, I’m not sure. Does this help at all?
Update* so I purchased the neo in black small crossbody and I love it but seeing that’s it’s being discontinued Im wondering if I should get another , there is a medium neo crossbody in raspberry, navy & nautic as well as a small tote same as yours in black and navy , which would you recommend as an additional purchase if any ? Wow, what a shame. I have the large neo in black and it’s such a good travel bag and the one I use for taking my kids to the park, zoo etc. I’m not a fan of the color contrast on the other black versions (I’m very plain Jane and boring lol) hopefully mine lasts many years, thanks for sharing!
The Neo is totally out of stock in UK and has been for a while. Interesting colours in the US. I have a navy club small top handle and is has really nice red trim instead of white.
Both favourites… sort of. I like the colours, the snap fastening and compactness of the Club and always keep one in my car and my suitcase but I prefer the Neo top handle bag with the additional strap. I wonder if they will discontinue that model too?
For your viewers in the UK, I found it in the Harrods store over the weekend. I believe there are still a few remaining stocks in black small long handle and large top handle. They don’t put it on display and you will have to ask for it

I must be one of the rare people that don’t care for this brand. I have one bag and it’s purple. It’s one I don’t use much at all. I don’t know. I just don’t like the idea of a bag that wears out on the corners. Maybe I would like the leather ones more.
I wasn’t a fan either. I used to have one that was gifted to me - hardly used it. But these two, I don’t know why, I’m obsessed. 😂 Especially the black neo one… it’s so sturdy and thick. And I heard the corners don’t wear out until years and years of use. Even then, Longchamp will repair for free! The leather ones are nice too - just heavier so the nylon definitely has its own benefits. Thanks for watching!

I love Longchamp that I have over 20+ in all sizes and colors. But my favorite is the navy blue Neo with a strap for crossbody.
I have the black Neo in medium with a crossbody strap, and love it! The nylon is much nicer but the real difference for me was the zipper. 👌🏽

They’re definitely long enough to wear on the shoulder. It’s about an 8” drop length and it feels very comfortable when I sling it over my shoulder.

Hello. I’ve been watching your videos for some time now, and love all of them. Thank you. I have one question about the Longchamp Neo. Can you tell me where is the bag made. I believe most of these are made in China, Tunisia or Romania. I’m really interested in Made in France, but I don’t think they are made there. Thank you.
The black neo one I have is made in Tunisia and the pink club version is made in China.
Thank you for this video. Went to Bloomie’s in person and snagged the NEO tote, but Large, Navy. Compared it to the club & green and the quality is much better.
I'm still using a planetes (yes the earliest and thickest) and wonder if i were to replace it one day is the neo or club more similar to planetes in terms of texture?
I have a few Longchamp totes mainly the small with long handle. I also have the neo in the x-small crossbody which I really love. Interestingly my totes are made in either Tunisia, China (Club) and one in France.
I love Longchamp le Pliage bags especially Neo (and I only have one from Club) ..it's my favorite gifts to give for my Mom and siters..but I am also excited about the City collection...am purchasing one of course in noir.Thanks for the info...I wasn't aware...new subscriber here.^^

I have the older version of the Roseau leather tote and it’s such a good bag. Leather is very durable. I used it every day. It can be worn inside out showing the other color, so it’s like owning two bags. This version has been discontinued and the newer ones I don’t think are as good. Don’t know why longchamp keeps discontinuing their good products. Looking forward to your next video regarding the big tote of your choice.

@@gillsimpson4976 There is a tag inside the bag that tells you where it was made. My black neo tote was made in Tunisia. That’s interesting about the differences in colors based on country.
I have the neo pilage in leather customers colour with my initials and the medium also in leather. I should dig them out to use

Hi , I never gave this bag much attention till seeing your video , I'm an all leather girl , so not sure how I feel about the nylon as I'm concerned it might look cheap? I have found the last remaining neo in my country , but its the top handle with crossbody strap would love your opinion on it before I pull the trigger lol
Hi! I understand what you mean as there is a distinctly different look and feel between leather vs nylon. It’s hard to compare the two. This nylon on the neo is really nice though and the leather trim adds a nice touch. 👌 But I really love this tote version with long shoulder straps as it’s so easy to just grab and go. I used to have the original Le Pliage (not neo version) and that one had the shorter top handles and I didn’t like it so I let it go. If you’re talking about the xs version that has the top handles and crossbody strap, that one I’ve heard really great reviews for. But the other sizes, I’m not sure. Does this help at all?

Wow, what a shame. I have the large neo in black and it’s such a good travel bag and the one I use for taking my kids to the park, zoo etc. I’m not a fan of the color contrast on the other black versions (I’m very plain Jane and boring lol) hopefully mine lasts many years, thanks for sharing!
The Neo is totally out of stock in UK and has been for a while. Interesting colours in the US. I have a navy club small top handle and is has really nice red trim instead of white.
I think all the neo stock will be depleted this month in the US too. 😔
Both favourites… sort of. I like the colours, the snap fastening and compactness of the Club and always keep one in my car and my suitcase but I prefer the Neo top handle bag with the additional strap. I wonder if they will discontinue that model too?
I think the entire Neo line has been discontinued and whatever is left is the remaining inventory. 😬

For your viewers in the UK, I found it in the Harrods store over the weekend. I believe there are still a few remaining stocks in black small long handle and large top handle. They don’t put it on display and you will have to ask for it

When I look for the NEO, comes up one called “recycled” I wonder if they re named it… ?
The recycled “green” collection is supposed to have replaced the NEO line. Maybe that’s why it’s coming up that way in the searches.
The new coated Canvas looks gorgeous. Tbh that's a way better option.
Have you see it in person? I haven’t seen it yet, but I know it has jacquard lining. I think I prefer nylon for Longchamp and the unlined versions are feather-light! 🪶

I must be one of the rare people that don’t care for this brand. I have one bag and it’s purple. It’s one I don’t use much at all. I don’t know. I just don’t like the idea of a bag that wears out on the corners. Maybe I would like the leather ones more.
I wasn’t a fan either. I used to have one that was gifted to me - hardly used it. But these two, I don’t know why, I’m obsessed. 😂 Especially the black neo one… it’s so sturdy and thick. And I heard the corners don’t wear out until years and years of use. Even then, Longchamp will repair for free! The leather ones are nice too - just heavier so the nylon definitely has its own benefits. Thanks for watching!
