I think one major rooted issue that we have is thinking "there is purpose outside God"... Career is not purpose! If you are not transforming souls with Christ in whatever you do, it's not purpose.

The exact tactics I use when I was about to marry cos I know how much my mother dislike ijebu people, n my fiance now my husband is an ijebu man...then I will say wherever my husband is coming from I will marry him, so far it will of God even if na ijebu...i do ring day bell in her ears aside that I've projected his names so many times in a good way...and at d time he came my mum was like ha! It was Jesus that made me accept you o, even my gradual said d same when she met him, my mum was like is he that your friend that helped you get accommodation in school that time? I said yes, that he was telling you about your attitude sometimes on phone? I said yes, she said definitely he know you too much you are too good funds and by the time my husband met my mum she was just laughing with him that my husband was like you lied that your mother is strict I was shocked too. Today they are best of friends oo my mother always side him any time any day, she was even d one defending him when I introduced him to my mother's younger sister and she was like no way you will not marry ijebu boy my mom was like d boy is a good boy, ijebu boys are good its only there women are bad.e no even concern me they can't do any thing im happy with my ijebu boy....than you pastors I love you you have really helped my marriage by the grace of God 🥰😘

It's fine if nobody reads this, I just thought I should put this out there regardless, because, I don't know why I feel this is the BEST out of 100ths of Pastor M's videos I have watched, this video has a lot to unpack but the most evident remains her posture, discipline, bravery, shrewdness, submissiveness, resolvedness, calmness, confidence, melancholic personality, realness, Faith over fear, courage over cowardliness and above all perfection over imperfection.
And as for the questioners, the truth is that most of the questions are self explanatory only if they could just stop, and tell themselves the truth. Some are too afraid to hear the bitter truth so they prefer the convenient lie.
And as for the "God the father" guy, this is the dumbest thing I have seen in recent time , it is alarming how people like the sound of their voice and how "intelligent" they think they sound.
The Good news is that You are one of the living testimonies of the LOVE nature of God. God loves us to the point of giving us will power, liberty and freedom of choice. You can decide to be the owner of your life or a steward of your life, Ownership and Stewardship is what differentiates believers and nonbelievers.
One of the reasons I love God is the fact that He doesn't need nobody for his existence, He is God all by himself. What is the point of asking why we need Jesus if you think you don't really need Him. Button line is, if God doesn't exist then you do not exist because there must be a creator before a creature and if you didn't come out of the blue then you probably came from somewhere and from someone. I am amused when atheists think they are the lord of their own and refer to christians as people who live at the mercy of God. The point is that, We (believers) do not live AT the mercy of God , We live BY the mercy and grace of God, note the difference. It's obvious, that atheist guy is wasting his resources, time and energy being at that meeting, because the bible is clear, " It won't do a fool any good to try to buy wisdom, because he doesn't have the ability to be wise" (proverbs 17:16)NCV
Life and death is set before us, choose life, so that you and your children will live. All we need is an understanding mind and a hearing heart and both comes from God (1kings 3:9)AMP because it takes a good sense to make sensible decisions and a wise mind to make wise choices.

Because he is asking questions that challenges all the taught Christian principles. This is why Christians are becoming atheists. When Christians ask their teachers uncomfortable questions they should try to answer where they can and if not open it to the house

Wow, to support this message this actually happened to me and I thank God for God helping me to use this principle even though I didn't know exactly how I knew. Now I know it was the Lord. I was already 27th dating someone in the UK but only came home for Easter holiday when one of our family friends, (my sister's husband's friend then) proposed marriage to me, I told him that I was dating someone in the UK but he hadn't really proposed officially so I would not be available for any long distance relationship unless he is serious, so if he was serious, as an Igbo man he should know what to do. 😆, Well; few days from that meeting my husband was in my father's house with his family to officially ask for my hand in marriage. Now we are living happily ever after....12 years and counting

Err not really, I'm over thirty and still get eligible young guys........infact I'm the one 'deciding'
either you're an exception (in that case u cant advice people on exceptions, only general principles) or what you're deciding is sex and not marriage. Even if its marriage, chances are they're guys willing to settle down with you but you're not willing to settle with them (in that case u haven't found the one/type that you want, bcuz he'll be the one to dictate when you get committed to). just how nature works.
You are an exception, not the norm.
And that exception will not last forever.

Quick question 🙋🏾♀️ I’ve been dating this amazing guy and I love him dearly. We’ve been together for 4 years now and we have always know we will marry. We have made plans and invested in each other a lot. so now he wants to propose but seek my parents consent but my parents said we can’t get married because my tribe can’t marry from his became of a curse our forefathers laid. We both do not believe in those traditions but my parents won’t give us the go ahead. Please what do I do we both have decided to fight n not give up even if it means going against my parents but please I need counsel in this. My parents believe so much something bad will happen. How important is the number of times you call a woman in a day?
I don’t think it’s the number of times that matters but indeed the nature of the conversation. What was said and how was it said? What atmosphere did you create? How did you make her feel? I think that’s what counts. Don’t stress about the number of the times, that shouldn’t really matter. The quality of the conversation is what counts ❤️
I think it's also important to know the kind of person she is...does she enjoy phone calls generally?. Is quality time her love language?...if she enjoys quality time or something, then she probably wouldn't mind getting as many calls as possible... because it's not about the number of calls, it's about if you guys enjoy each other's company, the quality of the conversations and all of that too. And also, i think it's also important to know or find out if she really or sincerely loves picking those calls...is she enjoying it or just enduring it.
I think putting these things into account too might help
@tzoneo8029 it depends on the type of person she is and her needs. Her love language may be quality time and so calling her often will mean a lot to her and for another woman hers may be receiving gifts, acts of service etc and will not really care the number of times you call. So understand who you are with and what their needs are, that way you know how to love them better.

Remember, how often you call someone at the beginning of a relationship, is not a guaranteed indication of how you love them. All am saying is, don't filter off a worthy candidate early in a relationship, simply because of call frequency. Determine what your priorities are. What are the important qualities you are looking for? Remember, a smart guy or lady can call you ten times a day just to fill that void you cherish, but that might not give you your dream spouse. Think about it.
