The Costing comes from the assembled item once the product has been built. The Chart of Accounts is used when you create the individual inventory part. That is where you enter the chart of account codes. Thanks for pointing that out.
Started your 2021 video for Quickbooks mnfctng and saw this new version 2023 and jumped to it instead. Have you ever seen this software used in a commissary setup? Im considering what software options I can use to control how much (for example) ham we get in bulk and "try" to keep control of slices per pound and how much sold in sandwiches. This way, I can better control my expenses and track sales/profits, etc. Maybe you've seen this sort of scenario?
