    I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

    Thank you for mentioning EDS on your channel. Not everyone knows about it. This extreme bending would be the worse kind of thing for us, water is better. Especially since a lot of us are in extreme pain and prone to injury even if we don't realise it.
    I would like to say say thanks for the subtitles as well since it can cause hearing issues. I also had cataract surgery in my case at a relatively young age so was interested to learn about light sensitivity.

    OMG! Thank you so much for bringing up EDS! It’s kind of amazing to hear you talk about it and how much you know about it. It’s something that I’ve struggled with my whole life and I’ve never really heard anybody on the Internet with a large audience talk about it.

    I did aerial silks for a while, and my instructor would let us drop like that as a ‘good job, well done’ sort of thing. I really miss doing the silks, but I’d have to work my upper body strength back up for that. Well done, Sophie!

    Ok I had a thought on how Molly could actually watch Sofie perform... WHAT IF you found a place that Sofie could do a routine where the rooms kind of dark and there’s a light background or something, shine a spotlight on Sofie, then molly could watch her routine via watching the shadow? Would that work?

      Thats what she did around the 4:50 mark when Sofie did the handstand

    Thank you so much for bringing up EDS in this video! It is such a common issue within gymnastics and dance and people really need to be aware of it and get tested since it can cause a lot of problems later in life if not diagnosed. Thank you for bringing awareness to this disease 💜

    On the subject of spotting, I’m wondering if light could be used for spotting, seeing as you have some light perception? Using small focused piece(s) of lighting, as long as it’s a lot brighter than the surroundings.

    But is it not "aerial"....with an e?

    • @SuperAMG11
      @SuperAMG11 4 роки тому +17

      Yes. Ariel is the spelling of a name.
      Aerial is "up in the air" . So yes...the correct spelling would be Aerial.

      I didn’t want to be “that guy” and correct her because it’s really not a big deal.... but the correct spelling is Aerial, but regardless the apparatus is called Lyra, not Aerial Hoop.
