I feeeeel like she should have put little dividers in between the sections so she could legit feel when she exits the “short hoodie” section or whatever cause it’s still tightly closer together where it could be confusing. Especially if she wanted to organize it all by herself. Also Braille labels would’ve been really cool. I just feel it could’ve been a lot more accessible for Molly but the organization generally was well done !
I was thinking the same thing! When she said labeling still had to be done, I kept thinking he should put Braille labels on it and make the closet a bit more digestible for Molly to locate what goes where.
I think it's similar to a keyboard, kitchen cabinets, or anything else really. Molly will learn the systems really quickly and be able to use it, not everything needs to be accessible. I bet Molly will know where everything goes in a few days without having to ask anyone. I could be wrong, but that's just my opinion.

The whole name issue aside, the way that stylist spoke to her assistant every time she asked her a question was gross. It’s possible to give someone an answer without being rude while doing it.

@@sparkstheartist5777 idk to me it kinda sounded like how parents speak to their kids sometimes, especially teenagers. Like, "it's THIS way, not THIS way," when they didn't even tell you the way they wanted it. I get spoke to like that a lot. I feel like she could have just showed where the section was instead of replying aggressively. But just my opinion.

I feel like it's not going to stay organised because there are so many section it's impossible to know where one section starts and ends. Plus, she put bags at the top where Molly can't reach them to feel what is what.
Tbh, I think Molly should just hire another professional organizer. One that would make the whole closet accessible for her. Maybe the one that did Safiya's closet.. what was their company name? Practically Perfect?

Yeah, and I feel like the "labelled" boxes on those high shelves are a terrible idea, especially since there is purses stacked on top of them.
Labeling them in braille means that molly will have to get up on a stand to touch every box to find what she's looking for, then remove the shuff on top of the box (all while balancing on a step/chair) take out the huge box (trying not to drop it/ fall), take out whatever she needed, put back the box, and put back the stuff that was on top of the box. Then when she is done using the item she has to repeat the whole process again to put it back. Nobody has time for that and it's a huge falling hazard (those boxes are half the size of molly) so either she is going to get hurt or it's going back to a big mess.
The fact that the stylist couldn't remember their assistant's name so they made one up sounds like it came out of a movie...But in reality it's almost disrespectful

I mean it’s not like she gave her entirely new name or something, I have a really bad problem with remembering names, it’s better that she called her Arty which is close to her last name than calling her something racist, offensive or just straight up rude, but I get that it can come across as disrespectful to some people

I haven't watched the whole video, but is it just a nickname that they call each other? My best friend and I sometimes call each other by our middle names especially when I'm tired and stuttering really badly.

Molly!!! I love you and your content. So this is not critique but caring: Juice cleanses are bs. They don’t do anything, they are just a popular trend, especially in LA. You don’t have to do this to yourself. No proven benefit whatsoever. That's not entirely true. If someone with an unknown food allergy, like celiac disease, did a juice cleanse they'd feel a lot better since they eliminated their allergen and allow their gut to heal without any fiber. But of course that's not going to happen to everyone
@@TheOnlyFairee That's the thing about why these cleanses or elimination diets are popular despite being bs. Enough people that have a food allergy will do one and feel a lot better and then promote it. But that's not the cleanse it's the unrecognised allergy.
Nadja Katz truly! Juice cleanses are bullshit. They’re always like “cleanse your toxins”. That’s why we have kidneys! Existing on juice is a starvation diet that makes you poop a lot and then you’re starving and eat a lot again. It’s ridiculous
Our body has this amazing thing called homeostasis. When we have too much sodium or potassium or any electrolyte, vitamin etc. in our bodies our kidneys and liver filter it. Medications alcohol and toxic substances are excreted from the body with the same filtering process. Juicing it's great in some ways because you get a whole whack of vitamins and phytonitrients all at once. The problem with juicing is most juicers eliminate the fibre and fibre is what we need for many things like decreasing outmr chances of getting cancer maintaining proper bowel function, decreasing cholesterol and triglycerides, just to name a few. Another problem with juicing is that vegetables have natural sugar in them in the form of fructose so you get all whack of carbs in the form of fructose which can raise your glycemic index (blood sugar levels) which is not healthy for anybody, especially Diabetics. Eating a Whole Foods diet is the best way to maintain health. And when I say diet I mean lifestyle not a diet as in dieting. Nurse and nutritionist
The first few minutes made me realize that she needs to prioritize herself and her feeling comfortable where she lives over traveling. Like she said, it’s great that she gets to travel but if she doesn’t know her apartment and building she needs to take the time to relax and do things for herself
I wish she had put dividers /braille inbetween each section. Without pulling them out, molly can't see if a hoodie is short or long. Also makes it easier to put back.

Same, I ordered her yellow shirt but it is the same length for every size. Doesn't really work for someone with medium-sized boobs/a long torso. 🤷♀️ The maroon one gets slightly longer in every size, but both it and the yellow one have a raw edge which will need hemming to prevent fraying.
I wish that too as I love it but probably won’t buy it as I don’t wear cropped things

I’m intrigued how you find the actual item of clothing and know what color it is. I know you can differentiate between let’s say a jacket or a blouse or a T-shirt but then to be able to understand which one it is as amazing

Am I the only one dreading the juice cleanse thing? Extreme restriction like that is dangerous and disordered eating, I hope Molly points this out and says in her video that it's not a good thing to do for your body or mind. If it was a nutritionist or someone that told her to do it I would highly question their intentions and tell her to find a new provider. Molly, or anyone else reading, I recommend you look into the work of people like Caroline Dooner (@thefuckitdiet
), Christy Harrison (@chr1styharrison), Maddie Deakin (@messyhealth_), Linda Bacon, and Dr Joshua Wolrich (@drjoshuawolrich) and those that they work with to dispel common nutrition and dieting myths.
Yes! You're right. Im a dietetition and dear Molly IT'S SHITTY IDEA. Not healthy and definitely not worthy. If you have healthy kidneys and liver - they cleanse your body themselves. Don't do things that are not healthy and dangerous!!!

Juice “cleanses” are great to add to your diet as just a detox and nutrient addition but like it’s not a diet.
@@jordan5012 It's taking away nutrients and does absolutely nothing to "detox" you that your body doesn't already do. Changing how you eat (by literally not eating) is a diet. It is food restriction and it is not beneficial to your health.

I don’t like the stylist at all, the whole time she did what she liked and didn’t think about Molly and what would be helpful for her. And the way she spoke to Arty sounded rude. Normally a stylist is there to help you figure out what’s helpful for you not entirely what they like.

Happy Birthday, Molly! I feel you on the overwhelming closet after moving. Every time I moved in college, I would get rid of so much stuff, but still my closet was always packed with stuff. I also had a problem with tank tops, even thought the city I lived in was snowy from the beginning of September until May. 😂

I hate how it seems like the first reaction of every professional organizer is to subtly pressure the person into getting rid of a bunch of stuff. 😒 Like, I hired you to work with what I have right now, not try to “make” me get rid of my belongings that I paid good money for. Organize does not have to be a synonym for purge. A good organizer can figure out how to organize what you have in the space you have without having to get rid of anything at all. Idk it just really bothers me.
It's always better to get rid of things to make space! It really is the first step to organizing 🤷 if you have a real mess how do you even know you want all of it?
I think the organizer has her best interest in mind when mentioning purging. It’s truly the only long term solution to a chaotic space and it can be frustrating when things get messy so quick. Anyone can recognize that the amount of items someone may have is beyond what they need or even will use, and sometimes it’s that little push that will help someone minimize their stuff. If they’re not ready or actually do require all the stuff they own, which in this case I think Molly has a pretty good reason for her amount of clothing, than that’s okay and the organizer will work with what is given to them but decluttering is generally a good idea.
Okay but at the same thing the best way to ensure you’re actually working with what should be organised is by going through everything

I recently had the same problem - couldn’t even open the closet door all the way. Although, not because I have so many clothes, mostly because I have only ONE closet in my condo, so vacuum and everything has to live in there. I had to re-org all by myself, but I share your joy in being able to skip in your closet! 🥳
