You could say the same for teachers, nurses, junior doctors, police officers etc. Junior doctors especially get into the most debt out of any profession going to uni for 5 years and then come out making £32,000 a year which is not a lot for a doctor compared to other countries even if they are training.
I see a big problem that only seemed to have noticed last 10/15 years - a fundamental lack of economics or monetary value overtime . People who maybe went to uni or started on 22-25k 20 years ago saying well I started on that etc. That’s a mental attitude for any growing economy also I expect my children to earn and start on a lot more than me as the value of currency usually inflates over time.
