This is one of 12 demos Geordie Walker recorded in Prague in 2006 and collected together into a kind of solo demo album that he was calling "Animal Pharm" at the time. These 12 songs were all put out on a "Geordie Walker" myspace page in 2007 without listing Geordie's working song titles, just numbers. Geordie's working title for this song, listed here as "Demo 5," was "ANNO ZERO."
@@_Stroda perhaps but my collection of records from cocteau twins, slowdive,MBV, bethany curve, Ride, the lilys, lush, robin guthrie solo work, swervedriver, early verve to name a few might disagree
This is my favourite of the ten tracks. And what a showcase these ten tracks are! An hour's worth of otherworldly riffs with only cigarettes being chugged. If they could Big Buzz this one!
These 12 tracks with Jaz's vocals on top, Raven (RIP) on bass and whoever on drums would be perfect for me. This number 5 is my favourite. I know some of them turned into tracks from the latest KJ trilogy, but I prefer these stripped-down versions
Whoa! This the classic often imitated Killing Joke guitar sound.. Listen to NIN's perfect drug and there is a break in the song where it has an unmistakable Geordie riff.
this guy is amazing. I've know of Killing Joke since the 80s with the Nightime album. I recently started going to the gym and am using nothing but Killing Joke (from the first album to Absolute Dissent). I have never encountered such a sound and I've been around a long time. Really amazing. Where do I get this music from?
Some sound Similar to KJ stuff, but you cant find these exact recordings on their website Best just to use a UA-cam to MP3 Converter for these Tracks of the Geordie Demos's, Gulf War Dance, Etc... Rare stuff
Never replicated. An absolute original. Goodbye Geordie. Thank you for all the amazing music.
Fantastic! Out of this world 🎶

Thank you for the info on these tracks. Just stumbled across them on YT recently. Wow!
Thanks for the info 👍
Glorious tone. Beautiful riffs.
RIP Geordie. One of the best ever
some of the best guitar tone ever
Presumably you've somehow managed to combine an interest in good music with a total ignorance of shoegaze.

So you're referring to the Geordie demos? Those riffs should be riffs to the regular songs. Jaz not gonna leave those in limbo...I'll look into that
Anywhere to download this track?
dynaMITE!
Mate, you cant find these on their website from what I know
Where are these demos coming from? How do we know they are from who they claim to be?
Well if it's not Geordie then hats off to them for these amazing displays of skill and imagination
