This is truly an excellent overview using technically correct but understandable terminology. Thanks!

Hi just saw your video when you bought your Nissan Leaf and you mentioned “the dongle” to measure the life of the battery and how it was charge. I would greatly appreciate if you can share the brand of the dongle you got. Thanks and appreciate your response.

Do you have to have this connected to a 240 V outlet with a 50 A breaker? Your car apparently has a maximum input current of 26-something A, below the 30 A capacity of most household 240 V circuits. Are there cars that can accept higher input currents, and if so, can this device be "throttled" to avoid blowing your household breaker each time you try to charge?
Neat gadget, nice video. Too bad about the "app dependence" but I'm just a curmudgeon. Thanks for sharing, Linn.

👍👍This product looks really good and I can't wait to buy it, it charges much faster than what I'm used to. The installation seems simple, and you can check the charging status using WiFi on your phone. It must be very convenient to use. I checked their official website information and found that this product has almost a 5-star rating and can be charged unconditionally in rain or snow. The performance is really high.

Too bad you can't pull in to your garage. I have the charger head and cord dangling from the ceilng just by the front license plate making it very easy to plug and unplug the charger to the car without having the weight of the cable to worry about.

Looks like this TELGEOOT charger has no safety certifications. It has the CE logo on it, which has no significance in North America, and the FCC logo, which isn’t a safety certification.

Ev are stupid. You charge your car for 100 $ and after freezing night 30$ of your fuel is gone. How is that economical. You fill your petrol car with 100$ and after freezing night you still have 100 $ worth of fuel in your tank

Not sure what you mean by this? If I put $100 of electricity into the car overnight, that is exactly what I have in the car in the morning. And with the Nissan Leaf, you can even set the temperature you would like to have the cabin at the time you plan to leave in the morning.

@@davidabineri908 if temperature is below - 18 C like now in my country than from 100% charged battery it drops to 90 just by sitting outside

@@Jose-qh6bc if in summer fully charged car can drive for example 100 km and in winter it can drive only for 80 km than it lost it's fuel. You want to tell me that temperature doesn't have any effect on battery? You are wrong and go back do your homework
