Question: on the brush and pencil site they say to first put down a layer of the blending powder and then pencil on top of that and then another layer of powder over that. Then spray with fixative. Did you prep your paper with a thin layer of powder blender? Thanks.
No I didn't. I dont find the need with oil based pencils. I believe that that is recommended for wax based pencils like prismacolor but I find that they don't blend as well no matter what I do. I keep wax based pencils (I use caran dache luminence generally) to add details I don't want easily blended away :) This is just my experience though. Its always worth experimenting :)
