This was my 1st Rifftrax live and I loved it.
Fave part is when the whole crowd gasped/laughed when Heather Locklear questioned how anyone who lived on a slave plantation could be unhappy.
Or when she ate his um... Stem thing?
Only complaint was no purple rapping roller gator rising from the swamp
I loved this live show. I was the only one in my theater cracking up when Jourdan’s character started singing to his parrot Gigi. I guess not enough people had seen him in the 1958 Best Picture winner Gigi.
"When salad tosses back." Couldn't help thinking of the "tossed salad" Chris Rock mentioned during one of his comedy specials.
The chunky kid was the funniest part of the film! And the riffing here was a gazillion times better than the stuff in Hack-O-Lantern.
There seems to be an inherent level of idiocy in horror films, and of course, it's always nice when someone points that out.
I saw the last fifteen minutes of this as a kid and to this day still crack up at Gunn's whiny "Aw _shit,_ man!" when Swamp Thing stuffs a grenade down his pants.
The LIVES are so great! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Unironically one of my favorite movies.
It's awful...!
@@user-os7ec4dm8x lmao ok mr scorsese
The Adventures of Salad Man.
Salad Man: the Toss-ening
no amount of money could be enough to have someone carve any initial into my fingernail
that was truly the most bizzare and uncomfortable thing. what the actual hell?
How about the ENTIRE BOOK OF GENESIS?
@@alexmuenster2102 still have to say no
I'm in my 40s, and even I was creeped out. I had to shield my eyes while screaming OH, GOD! WHAT THE HELL?!?!
I was in Savannah last week and toured the Mercer Williams House, a filming location. The tour guide mentioned this movie and we watched it on UA-cam that night.
A Nietzsche joke! SOLD!!
SwampThing is beyond good, but not beyond evil!
@@StephenGillie Ha! Good one!
Yeah Nietzsche's lesser known "Do Not Bring Your Evil Here" wasn't as well received as his earlier writings.
Any chance of you making a best of “The Return of Swamp Thing” compilation video?
@@victorhernandez8723 Since this one got released just recently I won't do an edit for it for a few months or so out of respect for Rifftrax. I will edit down an older title sometime soon though, plus I have a lot of MST3K episodes to do so I might need to focus on that project again when I do finally get the extra time (those take a lot longer).
I hope there is a blu-ray release down the road.
I didn’t know the SwampThing ever left.
Well he's back, baby
He and Joe Dimaggio (according to Simon & Garfunkel).
Always love to see Joel and I really enjoy hearing Penn Jillette make the announcements again.
Anyone else watched this as a child?
I recall renting this during the VHS boom. I found a lot of weird movies growing up.
As risible and as tacky/shlocky as it was, the original movie "Swamp Thing" will always have a special place in my heart, due to the circumstances under which I viewed it. But I am AMAZED that they actually made a sequel (which I have only now discovered) - and that they were actually able to re-enlist Louis Jourdan for it!
They always make the best railing jokes!
There's a SECOND one?!
God bless you fine people!
Hope you guys talk over "Born on the Bayou" so you don't have to pay royalties to CCR.
Do _what_ to the fingernail?!
lol, bot in the comments! oh well, better than a hipster!
