I believe he uses it to write down jokes for when he starts judging he is prepared. Similar to Tony Hinchcliff keeps notes on paper. Just saying. But I agree he shouldn't be that deeply on it on a taped show. Quality of RBs is getting better though.

I thought everyone was exaggerating when they commented on rhe judges killing the momentum of this one, but if it wasnt for moses and pat, this roast would have been a total disaster.

The judges were really lame for this battle. No notes were being taken so that they could refer back to jokes that were made. They looked too intoxicated to bother being funny. They admitted to not remembering jokes or ppl's names.. Sometimes is the ones that are battling that are lame and don't carry their weight. This time it was the judges. They just didn't even bother.
