Your night sky time lapse sections always fascinate me. Did we see a few shooting stars in this episode? Your Frokengarde is gorgeous. Congrats!
Yes, there are a few shooting stars but they can hard to discern from satellites and airplanes. Glad you enjoy the nightlapses, they are one of my favorite things too.
What a fabulous episode Sarah! I loved every minute of it. And you look AMAZING in your new sweater. That beautiful Cognac colour suits you so well.
nice to see you here, Nicole! ❤
Thank you for the wildlife shots!
Beautiful colors in the Lettlopi for your new sweater.
Fun mill tour, dying to know more about Sue's sweater, very pretty!
Wonderful video as always. Your sweater is beautiful!
Another fantastic episode! I have heard of Jaggerspun yarns and now I am eager to try them out!
Lovely ❤ I really enjoyed the mill visit!
What a great episode! Imagine using water to spin! Thanks so much for sharing! (ps- I like a little pancake with my syrup too) 😋
hehe!
I love fiber history videos. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing piece of living history 🙏🏽💗
Love your podcast and love a good field trip! I was sewing as you were talking to Sue and she was talking about where the mill used to be … when she said Jagger Mill Rd in Sanford I was like wait!!! I drive on that road every time I visit my sister in Alfred!! And I remember seeing buildings that look like they were old factory buildings … what are the odds?! Also have a lovely bundle of yarn from them resting in my yarn stash waiting for me to remember what pattern they said to knit it up in! 🧶
Small world! And enjoy that Jaggerspun!
Thanks for taking us in nature, under the great skies, in the mill and through your crafting journey. I especially appreciated the night animal footage.
It's one of my favorite things to film and edit! I'm glad you enjoy it!
Loved this episode from start to finish - as always! Do I sound like a broken record in these comments? Probably. Love seeing your niece (or is that Cameron?) knitting next to her Auntie. The Jagger mill visit was very cool. The BFL you came home with looks sooo good. The Frokengarde sweater is amazing. Btw, the Dreyma is near the top of my queue and I have a sweater quantity of Lettlopi in Pine Green (MC) and Light Ash Heather (CC)... sweater twins in 2024!
Not a broken record at all! It is my niece Maddie. Twins in 2024 is a very motivating proposition especially if we can photograph them together!
Great video, Sarah. Love all of your projects. You are so lucky to have young ones to knit for. I have one grandson who wants a knit hat in black.. Very hard on the eyes. But I never get to see him wear it. I see him at least once a week. Oh well. The other grandson, can’t decide if he wants a hat or what color!. I told them both I will not knit for you if you won’t want to wear it. Wishing your mom a success surgery. Happy Thanksgiving
Ack! Black! I like knitting boundaries as you state. Thank you again for your kind comment and support of the show!
Your niece and nephew are so lucky, you make beautiful knits for them. And quilts:) Thanks for catching up 🌟
I wish you had introduced Susan a bit more. I knew her from 20 yrs ago and wondered what her relationship is with Jaggerspun. Enjoyed the podcast.
Maybe next time...she was a bit camera shy, so we have to break her in slowly ;) glad you enjoyed the Jaggespun trek!
I absolutely love your cinematography on your videos. This was neat to hear the history of this mill. Oh, there is a mill that does combed top in Michigan, Zeilingers.
Thanks a million!
Great video as always. Calming and inspirational. Im hopeful some day you can do a visit to the Junction Fiber Mill in Vermont!!! I watch their Mill Casts every week!
Yes, I've seen them come up on my feed. Might be a fun Fiber Trek!
The sweater is beautiful
Thank you!
Congrats on your Frokengarde! It is beautiful and looks great on you. I wish my nephews and nieces liked knitwear, but they don't, but I do have friends who appreciate it and it is more time for selfish knitting. Looking forward to seeing your many projects develop.
Thank you for showing us the Jaggerspun Mill, Sarah. Neat to see where some yarns are spun. I would have loved to see the mill when it produced woven alpaca! I used to work at a grade school, spent many a Holiday recouping from a cold/flu. The yarns you purchased are so beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃
I hope you DO go back, as I would love to see and hear some of the machines working and watch the travel from one station to another.
Thanks for the feedback!
I so love your videos! From the beautiful footage of Maine to the varied content (knitting, quilting, baking, and now rendering suet...Oh my!). It's so encouraging to hear about your multi-year WIPs. It reminds me not to be so hard on myself and more importantly, to enjoy the journey. And, the sweater you were wearing was just lovely. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving!
Multi year WIPs are my superpower! As we will all see with the beginning of the Yell! ;) Thank you for such a kind comment and for tuning in!
Love your podcasts and enjoyed the story of the mill. Looking forward to your Turning of the year episodes...greetings from a 31°C South Africa..take care and hope your Mom's surgery goes well. ❤
Thank you! And greetings to South Africa! Mum's in good spirits and on a quick road to recovery. I appreciate your kind thoughts.
Was that a lynx in your wildlife can??? Or was tha angle making a bobcat look huge?
Congrats on your sweater finish! And on convincing your niece that she wants to outgrow her itch, haha😂. Loved the nature footage, as always-thanks for taking time from your busy schedule to film for us.
Yes, a lynx! Outgrow the itch! This may or may not work in my favor ;) More knitting!
