Lovel to see the forest in the snow, and Ruby having a lovely walk and play. You were indeed lucky that no more snow blew in your face whilst you were talking to us! Thank you for the podcast, Sarah.
I am so enjoying watching you talk about the colours for your new sweater and you are wearing all those colours and sitting in an environment of rusts, greys and browns. Absolutely perfect!
Thanks for another fun episode-love your snow! Snow makes the winter so much brighter 😁. I got stuck unable to get to work for a week during 2 huge ice storms in January. Love all your projects, especially the embroidery in this episode. Hugs and best wishes!
Wow! a week!!! I am curious to see how March unfolds after a rather lackluster Jan/Feb. So many problems with the ice on the ponds and lakes. Hoping it all hold for our ice fishing adventures!
Your description of Knitting for Olive heavy merino yarn is spot on. I just finished My Favorite Things No. 09 in their heavy merino which will wear well, but it irritated my shoulder and I also ended up with sore hands. I have enough of the fingering and silk mohair to do another sweater. I’m hoping the lighter weight yarn will be easier.
Thank you for the affirmation! I did find a good soak helped the overall texture. Lots of work but perhaps skeining up the balls and giving it a soak to get some of the spinning oil out may help. Maybe more trouble than it's worth!
Love the entire presentation….but the new wardrobe for summer intrigues me as a fairly new watcher…..it lovely to visiting NA as I am near Olympia in Washington State….appreciate the Cow Girl Engineering visualization….how fun to be a Auntie Mame with a niece…..Blessing on Your Day…..
Hi Sarah! I just love it when I see you’ve posted an episode! Your embroidery is stunning! I wish I was a confident knitter but I’m not so I’m knitting a Gansey Afghan and crocheting a chicken. Keeps me out of trouble! HA 🌷🌹🌸🌼🌻
Crocheting a chicken would qualify as confidant making as far as I'm concerned. Oh...making stuffed animals is so hard for me! Thank you for your kind, positive feedback and I am so glad you enjoy the podcast,.
I just adore your vlogs Sarah! Such a beautiful combination of cozy, playfulness, and inspiration. I definitely know what it’s like to want to work on a project but the yarn is at home! No doubt about it the Yell is going to be spectacular. Sidenote: you’ve sealed the deal on what I’m making with my sweater quantity of Lettlopi… Treysta it is. For my second one (and I haven’t even cast on for the first lol) I’m going to need to come visit and get Tidal Yarn.
Leanne, you're so kind. And I bet you do understand the feeling of being stymied by distance from stash. I'm all for a Tidal Yarn fiber trek..name the time! I'm excited for the Treysta. Your colors are chef's kiss amazing
Madison’s sweater is adorable. Hope she loves it too. You have lots of snow in Maine. We have none in MA! Send some please. Ruby loves her walks and frisbee time. Be well, Sarah
Really love your hat you wear in this vlog. May I ask what pattern it is? I’m new to your channel, but I love every one I’ve seen so far. Good music choices. The crafty meet up looked like a lot of fun!
I am sorry I missed this inquiry! The hat was knit by a friend and she self drafted it from a bunch of charts. I'm glad you found the channel and Welcome!
Ha ha, you are funny. I'm getting there on the confidence in my knitting issue. I do not get too technical yet. Just purchased a vest pattern from Petite Knits. I don't know when I'll cast it on but I'm hoping to have it to wear next winter. I love the snow. We have some that wasn't washed away by rain. Best of luck next weekend, getting things done.
I have found that yarn with a dry hand often works up with more bounce on a bamboo needles. Too late for the dogpaw sweater, but you might consider doing a wee swatch experiment next time.
Just a note. You should never store your projects in a frame or hoop. It could permanently stretch you fabric and it is very hard to get your fabric to lay flat again around your embroidery.
Beautiful snow and lovely makes ❤ So nice to see Jess and the crafting group !
Cutie in the snow!!!

Haha! I couldn't believe it! always something. Animals, children and nature sure makes it interesting!
The snowy forest and stream is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks Amber, sunshine and snow is the best in the winter!
Thanks for the podcast
TU the snow is beautiful ❤❤❤

Haha! Very astute observation..of course I am. I'm so glad you're enjoying the vlog. Thank you.
I love your snow! We have been Minnesota-no-snow-ta this winter. Ice on lakes and rinks is poor. At least knitting has continued! Best wishes.
The snow was fleeting...fingers crossed for March!
It is so nice to see you outside in the snow !!!
Yeah..I've been missing my snow time this year!

Yes, I certainly have fun being an Auntie Mame. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I love the felt project and the embroidery. I have stitched a few of her projects. Just love your videos
Thank you Maureen, it's always lovely to hear from you.

Did you get any from this later storm today? They were saying a real nor'easter in the Boston area!
@@FiberTrek the storm was a dud😂. All the schools were closed. I’m sure the kids and teachers enjoyed the day off. I always did

Here's hoping for a lovely vest next winter! Our snow was fleeting and I have my fingers crossed for a snowy, snowy, March!
Watching Ruby chase the frisbee makes me laugh! Poor girl under my care didn’t get to enjoy that activity! ❤
heehee! Ruby's rules. She has certain people with certain jobs. And man if you don't throw the frisbee the right way forget it ;)
Your sewing roll/huswif is lovely! Did you make it as well? Do you have a video or details on where the pattern can be purchased?
Thank you, the pattern is my own draft from a friend's. But you might be able to find something similar if you google huswif patterns.
Cowgirl swatches! 😂😂😂
heehee!

Thanks for the tip!

I agree, Unless she’s using the hoop as a frame.
Thanks for the tip Here's hoping it all works out in the end!!!
