I really wish Eaglemoss would make the Battlestar Galactica: Manticore Class Corvette. Google it to see various images and versions of this game canon craft.
This ship was totally off my radar because I did not see any pre-orders for it. Nice little surprise for me as I don't have to wait months. Excellent review as always!
When I got my Valkyrie I counted all the guns. Including the point defense ones along the flight pods, and she is armed with a grand total of 50 guns. A lot of firepower for a small ship.
@@dynestis2875 Certainly. At 7:33 you can see three of them. They're not very big and I admit I missed the first time I counted the guns. But the first is just to the viewers left of the Name plate (close to the three RCS thrusters) at the very edge of the flight pod. The 2nd is a bit further along from there and the 3rd is a but further again. The 4th and 5th are just past the red line near the edge of the screen. See them?
The VALKYRIE I received is a far darker grey than shown; I guess I'll head-canon that it's the one that was in the ghost fleet and there was no plans to clean it. :)
Hey @IrishTrekkie, Another great review of the Battlestar Galactica Eaglemoss Hero collection. I am planning on getting this one soon, and posting it on my channel under my "Battlestar Galactica Collection" playlist. I didn't know that there was the Pegasus version. I will have to look into that one. I am curious to know if Eaglemoss Hero could do all the rest of the ships in the original series, aside from Battlestar Galactica in the opening credits of the original series.
Agreed, but I think it would be neat if they did them in a smaller size and sold them in packs/sets. Kind of like the shuttle packs from the ST collection you know? If they did that, they could build pretty much the entire fleet and it wouldn't cost us over $1k. If they do the fleet in the standard 'large' size, it'll get pricy and take up an entire room of shelves haha.
Greetings everyone, hope you have a great day :)
Where did u get that 360 rotating thing??
that exposed FTL drive, looks amazing and scary at the same time.

Could you point out the point defense guns to me?

The Eagle Moss BSG ships are a real deal compared to the price people ask for the Hasbro Titanium Ships.
Kevin Overbeck They are hideously expensive.
At this point, sure. Back then, I bought two larger Galactica for a very reasonable price and the smaller ones for $5 or so.
She’s a lovely looking model.

Looks great, has a sturdy look to it, I like the clam design. Detail as always is very nice. Thanks again Damian
one of my very favorite designs, so glad it's getting a model

@@IrishTrekkie Forget the weather, its about the food. Also your nation has the friendliest customs agents in the world.

That mission was the reason the Cylons came back and wiped out the 12 colonies.
Not mad about the poor turret modelling of all the models from these guys
Why?
Nothing beats a classic and the original is the benchmark that has not been exceeded.
