A lot of people seem unaware of this or they don't think it would happen to them. I've seen it many times and it's sad because it seems preventable.

@@jessieberro9514 Go to trichologist and he prescribes treatment for you (vitamins, hormones, etc) if it didn't helped, the only way is a operation, there's no other way to stop your hair from falling apart

Happened to an ex … pretty shocking how a routine of tying back her hair tightly can lead to this

Can you make a video on rosemary oil and whether it’s effective for hair loss as it seems to be absolutely all over social media right now more than any other hair loss treatment?

I am starting to notice I see my scalp after showering and brush my hair. Im 66 but no baldness in the family but I do have IDDM , Hypothyroid on Synthroid, and Crestor for lipidemia and finally low dose T ( 50mg a week) . Ive tried to lower these meds as much as I can safely lower them. Now I hear this traction alopecia and wonder could cpap strpas cause enough traction??

Hi doctors! Quick question related to finasteride and gynecomastia: I am a 27 years old male with mild male pattern baldness, and when I started taking 1 mg of fin every other day I started feeling some annoying tenderness in the nipples after one week or so. I had a tiny bit of gynecomastia in my puberty (completely unnoticeable and only on the right side, so basically nothing) and I was afraid this could cause it again, so I stopped for a week or two and the tenderness went away completely. I started again at 0.5 every other day, but unfortunately, started feeling this sensitivty again after 1 or 2 weeks. Now I've been on 0.25 mg every other day for a week and it doesn't seem to make it better :S
What would you suggest? Do you think this tenderness could be a sign of a risk for gyno? I am a lean, sporty and overall healty guy, if that helps. I think I might try 0.25 1x a week and slowly go up, but I would love to know your opinion.
Thank you very much for all the stuff you put out!
Greetings from a Spanish guy living in Berlin!

I've been tying my hair in a specific style in the past 2-3 years. I noticed some weeks ago that I have traction alopecia. My hair is long and heavy, already and I felt my temple areas hurting, itching a lot of times before but I didn't reeally pay attention to it that it would be caused by the tight hairstyle. Now I do, too late.
If there's anything I can do besides the looser tie ups or having a transplant? Should I try different products, like dermaroller and oils, or are they just waste of time and money for this problem?

Just look at all the girls who have braids and cornrows, then their hairline starts in the middle of their head by their mid 20s. They cause their own 5heads.
