There was a HORRIFIC CABELCAR-ACCIDENT in China 1999. 14 people ended up falling to their death. Amongst them a couple who managed to lift their babyboy to safety before they fell themselves. A Chinese singer/songwriter made a song as a tribute to the ultimate sacrifice from the heroic parents. And the singer ended up adopting the boy! Such a sad, sad story... Dimash first heard the song and the events behind it when he was about 10 years old and it hit him so hard his body was trembeling. So this song is a big thing for him. If you watch it again knowing about this tragedy you will see all of Dimashes pain as he performes it. Search "Daybreak Dimash English subs" and have another listen. It's totally heartbreaking... SO HAPPY your doing Dimashreactions! You're a LOOVELY reactor, defenately one of my all time favourites. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏 And I really like that when you pause and then start the video again you always go back a second or two. Dimash is the artist who doesn't matter how much you listen to him, don't get bored of his songs. I'm sure if he lived in the U.S., he was already a big,big star. It's not known to the whole world yet. But the day will come...Thanks for the reaction!👍💙
Hi there. thank you for your reaction. If you're in the US, you'll have a chance to see him sing live. Dimash will be a guest of Maestro Igor Krutoy at the latter's birthday concert at the Barclays Center, New York in October 2019. You'll be able to hear first-hand the dynamics of his voice as well as see the "A Studio" (original singer of Sinful Passion) who sung w/ Dimash in the same song.
It seems like he recently did an interview in China where he mentioned he'll be doing a solo concert on Oct. 23rd. in nyc aswell....Who knows, the interview is done in Kazach or Russian, translated to Chinese and then a fan from Singapore translated it from Chinese to English. Who knows what got lost in translation 😊
@@Darling_Nicci I don't really know but the Barclays Center "events" tab already show that he will be one of the guests of Maestro Krutoy's bday concert.

Great reaction and I don’t mind the rewinds...I could listen to Dimash all day long (oh wait, I already do!!😂). Like others have said, you can consider yourself a Dear now!!! This was such an amazing performance, full of loop-dee-loops alright!!! Not sure if anyone told you the back story of this song...the Chinese singer Han Hong wrote this about her adoptive son and his parents who lifted him to safety before they died in a cable car accident. It’s sung from the little boy’s point of view and Dimash really conveyed that heart wrenching emotion of a child being left alone in the world. I’m not shocked by Di’s performances anymore either, but amazed and in awe of his talent every time!😁💖👍🏼
Dimash is incredible! This was yet another beautiful and emotional song. one of my favorite performances. His voice touches my soul. Thank you amazing reaction. I love it. Have a fantastic day!!!
I can never watch a Dimash performance without going back a few times in certain parts! Even though I know he can sing anything, certain notes he hits or styles he sings in still amaze me! Please react to him singing "Screaming" on Idol Hits!
So glad to watch this song again with you! Dimash’s a unique vocal virtuoso! Nobody’s like him! 👏👌✨ Thanks a lot for your emotional reaction and professional analysis! 🌹
Not quite - it's the only time *in* *a* *recorded* *performance* that he reached D8 - there's a difference! When interviewed about his range, Dimash has said that he often goes higher (and lower!) in training, depending on the day, but that the whole "how many octaves" thing is not important to him... however, as Dimash is known to be a very humble man, Dears like myself often take it upon ourselves to be *extremely* proud of it, on his behalf! 🤗❤
@@Tricia_K Dear Tricia, I meant in a performance like you say. I have been in LOVE with our Dimash since the first time I heard him 2 years ago & I was trying to inform a newcomer with basic info to get him to see just how great he is. THANK YOU !!! 🎶👱♀️💕❤

I really like how you pause and comment, please keep doing your videos however you'd like. I'm also happy that you're watching those side videos that show his personality and relationships with other singers! The woman who gave him kneepads was Julia Peng, a fellow contestant on Singer 2017 who joined in episode 9. It's a compilation of Dimash's interactions with the other contestants, and it's pretty heartwarming to see how friendly they all were.
Its was based on cable car accident in 1999 in China . 14 people died including children and parents. Han Hon wrote this song and adapted one child ! How the child feeling facing this accident holding parents hands but loosing them and waiting for daybreak how to survive further to live alone on this world.
btw this song is about a real event. a family visiting another country was involved in a cable car accident and the parents lifted the child up to save them, and the parents died. child was adopted by someone in that country and that person wrote this song.
As an aside, (and this is just my opinion, I'm not trying to be mean, rude, argue a point! Just explaining what comes to mind about your D8 comment) when it comes to whistle notes, its possible to get really high (even as high as Dimash!) but its what you do with it, and the control, that makes a difference. Hitting it is one thing, but at Gakku he slid into the D8 (from a slightly lower note I can't remember) then *sustained/held it for 5 seconds with vibrato*, without straining, in the middle of a song, then immediately got up and continued singing. People can replicate the note all they want, but Dimash seems to have full control of how and what he does with it. He's not straining, and makes it look easy and that's something to take note of. Anyways, just something I wanted to add! Please don't take offence! I didn't mean it like that. I do like your react videos. So please keep doing them. :)
I got the impression that after the infamous D8 note, someone repeated it by whistling it. Reason being was repeated almost instantly. Lol. Mind you, I might be totally wrong. Nolo, Dimash is so intense and awesome that you think you have seen it all with him. You still pause to enjoy what part or run you just heard and your face is expressive and you show and feel how exquisite or extraordinary it is! I never have out my hand on my mouth or whooped the first time I heard it. It was a visceral reaction. My whole being was shook and I knew what I was hearing and seeing was a performer that was and still is like no one else! I also knew that he was an extraordinary human being. Since he was on the Singer 2017, he is linked to many of other artists that are getting to be known especially from China. His respect and love for everyone is so amazing. He represents, peace and love. You and all of us know that in this day and age, such a role model is needed. 😊😊😊
