    Happy Freelance Friday!
    Hi! I’m Carrieblogger, a full-time career freelancer on Fiverr Pro. Since I started in 2013, I’ve built up a sustainable, consistent business with a six-figure annual ‘salary’. I work as a copywriter and branding consultant for small to medium-sized brands around the world.
    Be wary folks. Be cautious. Be careful. There are a lot of fake gurus out there, and it's a fine line between optimistic perseverance and a blind lack of preparation. If you want to learn how to use fiverr for beginners, ask a real Fiverr Pro for realistic advice and insights. If you want to learn copywriting for beginners, don't search for the fastest, simplest free copywriting course you can find. If you want to find the best freelance platforms, don't get sucked into random promises that you can start freelance writing overnight, or even worse, start copywriting with no skills. Any copywriting tutorial you find online, for free, is going to be a drastic oversimplification, and that kind of freelance copywriting video might give you a springboard to start your own research or pursue more valuable copywriting tips, but don't expect it to sovle everything. Affiliate marketing, digital marketing, advertising, and social media marketing are all unique industries. Content and copywriting skills take years to perfect. Want to get the best freelance jobs, learn how to freelance, and become a freelance writer? It's possible, but this terrible advice isn't the answer. Trust me - someone who really does it and knows exactly how to use Fiverr to make money.
    Learn how to make money online and work from home as a freelance copywriter like me! Whether you're building a freelance copywriting business or selling another skill online, freelance platforms like Fiverr are changing the future of work. Now you can monetize your talent and learn how to work from home. Freelance copywriting on Fiverr is my absolute dream job - hands down. Every Freelance Friday, I share freelancing tips, freelance advice, advice for freelancers, Fiverr tips, Fiverr advice, advice for Fiverr sellers, Fiverr business tips, and a look inside my freelance lifestyle as a solopreneur business copywriter. It's a blast!

    At this point I trust no-one but you for copywriting advice. I'm so grateful that I found your channel, and it's so underrated because you don't make big promises like "how to earn a million dollars copywriting , by working just 2 hours a week" . Thank you for giving us clarity. You have the best content about freelance copywriting on UA-cam.

    Don’t comment a whole lot, but I catch just about every video, and today just decided it was a good time to say thank you for always putting out such great content!
    As a 23 year old who has been juggling career options, your kind of straight-forward advice is exactly the kind I needed and has helped a lot in figuring my own stuff out! Also it’s just entertaining. Hope you have a good day Carrie!

    Such a great live demonstration of why we shouldn't trust any advice that we see on the Internet. It takes years of efforts and consistency to be a successful freelancer. With that said, your videos and your freelancing consultation service both help a lot when it comes to finding the right path to starting a successful freelancing journey or improving the craft! Thank you for sharing and for your work, Carrie! Loved the humor in this and the clips used (Office is a classic!)

    Aww. To quote Sally Fields, "You like me! You really like me!" :) I loved this video, too. The highest compliment I've ever received about my time in journalism was: "You have integrity." A few people have said that. I rank it as the highest honour I've received- above all awards. The one thing I can say about a consistent theme of your videos and statements about freelancing is the same. You have integrity. That is why you were appalled with a certain unnamed freelancer (who was quick to sue for being challenged in lacking that good quality), and why you are also appalled with courses that teach nothing substantial when you've learned, over years of providing good service and taking pride in it, freelance writing takes a lot of work and it's not just the copy. It's the honesty. It's providing polished copy the client is proud of. Of all freelancers I've watched on video only one ranks high in integrity. You, Carrie. God bless you for that. That quality should not be so rare. It is sad that it is. There is one word I learned in my travels in Quebec in my youth. Salut. It's a multi-purpose word. It's said as goodbye, it's said as paying respect, like a raising of a cap. I loved that word. Salut, Carrie, from the Great White North.

    I love all your videos. One thing I might add is that, nowadays, copywriting alone will not cut it. Effective graphic and user experience design are critical. I am learning more about using all three together this to increase website conversions.

    Thank you for everything you’re willing to share to help us! Do you think Fiverr Learn courses are a good way to go? I try to learn something new every day and always have when it comes to business…but it’s getting tougher with all the garbage out there.

    • @carrieblogger
      @carrieblogger  2 роки тому +1

      It totally depends, like everything else. Read the reviews, read the course synopsis, check the presenter’s stats and experience. They’re not very expensive, so it’s pretty accessible. I wouldn’t expect any short course to be life-changing (even mine haha), but there will be nuggets of good stuff, I’m sure.
