I was thinking the same exact thing. Her routine deserved at LEAST a 9.900. The score that the judges gave her is an absolute joke. The only deduction I saw was a leg separation on the back swing after the Maloney and a slight arched back on the bail to handstand. You’re telling me Ana Padurariu’s routine scored higher with that horrible landing on the dismount? Grace McCallum’s score shouldn’t have even been at high as a 9.900, she’s consistently overscored by the judges along with Amelie Morgan.
@@michellelosch9928 That’s really strange, her routine seems like it would start out of a 10 since she has a Maloney + Bail + Stalder + Sole Circle and then a Stalder + Double Tuck combination
@ I’m not sure because it was great…..and as a judge for years that score was not good……..If you watch the video of the vaulter right after you see she was given a 10 start. Some I was wrong.
The scoring was atrocious. Glynn on bars deserved way more than a 9.775 and Ella Zirbes’ routine was 9.9 at least. If they don’t get more standardization moving forward it will affect their NQS later in the season.
I'm wondering a little about the scoring for this meet and all the ones for the teams in Utah. It seems that the scores in the East and on the West coast are a lot higher than the ones being given by the judges here. I understand that the judges are being watched carefully this year, but it just seems a little lopsided in this area.
26:50 What deductions are they taking here? One judge scored this 9.85??? Seems like judging has no relation to the routines we're witnessing from meet to meet this year.
These judges were so tough. Sometimes it did not seem very consistent. I like that they’re not giving by away 10’s, but let’s reward a great performance with a great score.
Scoring is ridiculous. We went from over scoring last year to severely under scoring this year. Can the judges just score correctly!!! I feel so bad for the gymnasts this year suffering with the underscoring.
Rivalry has the implication that either team has a reasonable chance. I can't take this seriously as a rivalry. Utah has absolutely dominated, year after year. BYU just doesn't compete at the same level.
How did Ashley Glynn get a 9.775 on bars?????? That's absolutely CRAZY!! The scoring has been all over the place!

I think she got a composition error…ie didn’t start at a 10…..not sure

I wish the coach would have seen why bc that wasn't right

Thank you so much for this meet! The ladies were marvelous, beautiful leotards and good cameras too! This is how women's gymnastics should be done.
Would really love to see the judges score sheets for this meet
Yay been looking for someone to post

OK McKenna Smith’s vault had the same amount of deduction as BYU’s last gymnastics. That’s insane!!! McKenna’s vault was WAY better.
Thank you!
Thank you
Utah have lovely fluid floors. Aesthetically pleasing with hard tumbles.

No Ava Jorgensen on floor again. I don’t even know why I bother with BYU anymore.

Any news on Avery Neff? 😢
She has a severe sprain in both ankles.
@@theabbeyphillips Oh okay :(
What the heck is with the scoring for Utah on bars🧐. 3 of those should have been a 9.90 or better
Thank you so much!
