I'm Norwegian and I've been to the US a few times. Holidays, road trips etc. I've mostly traveled the southern states, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama etc. And i have to say, i LOVE muh muricans. Helpful, inquisitive and friendly. And people got really interested when they found out i'm from Norway. I remember one time a waitress in Tuscaloosa who literally screamed out in joy when i said i'm from Norway. "You from Noooorwayyy!!? I wanna go there!". I got free scrambled eggs and coffee. (Generous tipping made up for that though :)
Also, I'm pretty savvy when it comes to avoiding potential trouble, but my "spidey" senses never triggered in the US. In general i felt more safe in my US travels then i do in European cities like Paris and London. I would recommend all Norwegians to visit the US. It's awesome.

@@roseandra1 Not rude at all, based on my experiences (it's of course a bit different when you are a tourist). A lot of people in Norway are judging based on stressed out people in big cities like NY and LA, Hollywood media, politics etc. For instance, I know people who don't want anything to do with americans because they elected Trump. It seems like TDS is alive and well, even in Norway :D

I think I would feel safer overall in Norway and dreamed about moving there but I won't run from a fight. You are always welcome here in the US. Someday I hope to visit your amazing country. You are right, more Americans should travel abroad. It’s a humbling experience. A lot of countries have a negative opinion of the “typical American”. The guns here? We also love to hunt. Still, it’s a feeling- especially if you are a woman (like myself) that you can take care of yourself. You don’t have to rely on strangers to protect you. Also- to quote China- “It would be difficult to invade the USA. Behind every blade of grass; there is a gun.”
There’s also a whole lot of people who hate guns….

Quote; "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
The "security of a free State" requires the ability to defend it. A free State is NOT its government but its people. Upon enlistment, US Military personnel swear an oath
to defend the Constitution from its enemies... both foreign AND domestic. The purpose of the US Constitution's 2nd amendment is NOT only to provide a means of personal defense. It is to provide the people the means to defend themselves from any enemy whether foreign or DOMESTIC. We hope that those means will never be needed against a domestic enemy but if they ever are, we will have the means to do so. Look to the UK for how easily a Police State can arise in a former democracy. Dismiss the assertion that the UK is now a Police State? Watch what happens to those who dare criticize the massive immigration and government policies. Thousands have and are being jailed. Thousands of young women serial raped and groomed by 'Asian' gangs. Think it can't happen in Norway? Think again.

It seems to me that the human race on this planet has more similarities than differences. Individuals generally think of themselves as unique . America's population is diverse but mostly united in the basic concepts, goals and desires . The same as i see in other countries. All the world has problems to face and Americans are up to the challenge. Individual differences are not as dividing as it might appear actually.

I think what you're speaking of is a part of American culture but just a part, and mostly in conservative areas of the country. As an American who is not into any of the things spoken of here, it always makes me cringe to hear the things that are said about Americans as if we are all the same. I've traveled far and wide, hearing the things said about us. But in truth, we are diverse, with many differing views and beliefs. Anyone who has been here for any length of time will see that. The US is an experiment still in process: can people from all over the world, with different beliefs and customs, come together peacefully and justly in one nation.

Also, to defend ourselves from who exactly? We don’t have a culture in which personal weaponized defense is necessary. With Gods grace it will stay that way.

Bjorn I appreciate your sincerity and your honesty about "Christianity". I walked away from Christianity after I seen for years all the contradictions and false teachings in the modern churches. There are many mistranslations in the bible. Today's Jews converted to Judaism in the 8th century, they were Khazarian. The Jews are not Israelites. To be Jewish is to follow the religion of Judaism which came out of the Babylonian Talmud which the "remnant" brought back with them from Babylon to Palestine. Most of true historical Israel left Palestine years before the Assyrian invasion. Israel became the Scythians, the Cimmerians, the Goths, the Alans, the Celts, etc. King Odin, the supreme Scythian leader brought the Runes with him from the Steppes. The Runes, a Germanic language. have an ancient Hebrew influence linguistically. That is what I have found in my studies, believe it or not.
I am still a Christian because I observed that the bible is accurate over-all but it's alot of study time involved, but do not agree with the modern church. America is very messed up, does not reflect Christ's teaching at all. Please feel free to correct anything you feel I am wrong about. Thanks for your talk!

The United States actually doesn’t have guns, most people in the USA are driving around all day spending all there money trying to force accidental discharges on the road.

Did you know, the Bible is the book which has the most cross references of all books of all time. It's almost like a brain

American troops were issued a Norwegian rifle, the 1896 Krag-Jorgensen. No not the French Chauchat. That was another war. Not very many guns are actually built in the U.S.

Bjorn, if TaNaKh is not holy, then why is God’s statutes, judgements, laws and commandments in every civilized judicial and court system throughout the world?
The prohibition of idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, immoral sexual relations…everyone agrees that it is holy.
Moreover, TaNaKh can only be the Bible, which has 24 books.
The Christian doctrine came 1,300 years later and is not in line with TaNaKh whatsoever.
In layman’s terms, if it’s new, it cannot be true, and if it’s true, it cannot be new.
